The day was yet again turning to dusk as Aderes trudged morosely through the open fields of the plains. The skinwalker was beginning to think that there was no one out there in the world brave enough to help her in her quest. She paused and sighed as she thought of the feelings she was having. They irritated her, and she wanted them gone. Her new feelings had consumed her, and even though she could truly say that she loved the sounds of her prey squealing for mercy beneath her ebony hooves, she could not enjoy their cries when she felt this way. Aderes could not revel in the destruction she once caused, and that pissed her off. Aderes snorted in disgust as her mood quickly swung from brooding to malevolent.

He had been up the mountain and back today. Slowly walking back to his 'home', Sadiki stopped a few times to make sure he wasn't being followed. Stupid coyotes were everywhere. Other horses? Never. Bears, Coyotes and wolves? plenty of them EVERYWHERE. To make matters worse, he was hungry and all he'd found thus far were some blueberries. He hated blueberries.

Aderes' sensitive ears perked up at the sound of hoof-falls. She scented the air for the creature that was making the sounds, and to her surprise it was the scent of a soquili. Though the thought of ending her quest soon made her pulse quicken, it did nothing to improve her mood. As quietly as she could she trotted in the direction of the sound.
As suddenly as she heard the sounds of steps the sounds ceased. Aderes growled quietly, sniffing the wind and following the creatures scent. It was slower, but just as effective. Within moments she caught sight of a male soquili not far from her. He seemed skittish to her, but everything seemed skittish to her. Aderes paused, not far behind the male.
"Good Evening." She called out softly, barely attempting to hide her current mood of anger.

He slowly turned his head. He recognized that scent; Skinwalker. But he wasn't scared. There was nothing to be scared of. After all...he was stupid.
She was obviously...either angered or agitated, but whichever it was, it wasn't good. He turned his whole body around to face her completely, and to get a better look at her. She was...as attractive as a skinwalker could be. But it was her scent that bothered him. It was different than what other skinwalkers smelt like, it wasn't disgusting...but it wasn't pleasant. It was all so very confusing to him.
"Greetings. How may i help you?" He asked quietly. He only hoped the answer wouldn't include him being eaten.

Aderes stepped forward more and began to circle the male soquili, sizing him up with her colorless eyes like she did with everyone. "To tell the truth, I don't know if you can help me." She muttered. He was a normal soquili, but good in build, strong and muscled it seemed. He hadn't run from her yet, a slight sign of courage or stupidity, but it would help in making her choice. "What is your name?" Aderes demanded coldly.

He sized her up as she did him. But there was nothing that came to mind except that she could have been a really pretty mare, had she not been a skinwalker. Her tone sent chills down his spine, and he wanted to just walk away.
Instead, he decided to answer her.
"My name is...Sadiki Iah. May i ask your name as well?" he said softly, "And i may be able to help you, i just need to know what you need help -with-."

"Sadiki..." Aderes spoke the name as she judged it. She honestly couldn't say that she hated the name, but as she didn't like much of anything she also couldn't say she enjoyed it. "What makes you think you might be able to help me?" She said, her tone colder than ever, each word dripping with malice.
Without warning she snapped at the male, her teeth coming only inches from his flesh.

He almost reacted too slowly, but he pulled back as quick as his reflexes could allow, feeling the breeze coming from the force of the snap. She was pretty damn quick, but for what he knew, he was just as quick, if quicker. Her voice chilled him, but he kept his composure and tried to shake off the goosebumps he felt.
"Before we go any father, i would like to know your name." He stated with a bit of an edge to his voice. "And fine, if you doubt me, i will now say that i will help you with what you need...depending." He was going to make sure she knew he wasn't going to go down...or do anything against his will, without a fight. But he hoped it wouldn't come to that.

Aderes chuckled to herself a bid as Sadiki drew back from her. She paused and closed her eyes and growled deep in her throat and another wave of 'the feelings' consumed her. After the moment passed she began to evaluate her options.
"Hmm..." She murmured as she pondered. She hated that she would no matter what have to stoop so low as to ask for help. "Answer me this question and I'll tell you my name. What makes you so willing to help one of my kind?"

His answer was simple. He put no thought into it, and it came naturally.
"Why wouldn't I? There isn't that much of a difference between you and me, only the differences on the surface."

((I apologize in advance for the god-moding))
Aderes rams the male at his comment, fuming as she stood over Sadiki, her fangs only a few inches from his face. "There is nothing the same between us, not even on the inside." She gave a snort before backing off a few feet, her tail twitching as she walked off her anger. She stopped and closed her eyes, giving a great sigh. She had agried to something, and she wouldnt back out of an agreement.
"My name is Aderes." She said with an unintended growl. "What I need help with is a little, odd... Are you sure you want to help?"

Through the abuse, his heart raced as fast as it could go and still work. But he didn't show his fear...except for the obvious shivers. She scared him to death, but really, the only thing different were the ways they acted. And that she was cursed. As she walked away, he stood back up, shaking the dust and grass off his coat, and watched her walk away a bit. He was concerned of course, and really wanted to help her...but he wanted to live afterwards.
"I am very sure i want to help you, Aderes...But how do i know you won't kill me afterwards?" he asked, waiting for her to turn around.

Aderes stopped and glared at the male. She snorted and turned away from him, walking a few steps around him before she looked back at him. He had a good point, she did want to kill him, and after her feelings were gone what was there to stop her. She paused. She was feeling funny again.
"I..." She said slowly and grudgingly, not wanting to say it at all since she would be bound to keep her word. "Promise..." It was as though the words were cling to her tongue, refusing to come from her mouth without a fight. "To not..." A growl slipped through with the word not. "Kill... You." She paused, as if the simple phrase has exhausted her greatly.
"Ever."
