Story Line

{ setting }

Welcome, to King Odin's court fellow citizen upon this world of magic and lust. King Odin's kingdom consists of a large castle that can fit a well sized court of many occupants that lies just outside the deep forest which relies on a magical source within the toxic gazing pond located in the center of the forest which contrives it's own power from an unknown source. This time period is the medival ages of Ireland that can be found in lore and a variety of fascinating tales passed down from multiple generations.
One should be aware that the human territory only consists of the castle, lawn, moat, and pathway that runs into the forest to a nearby villiage of Isollie.
Isollie is a wealthy merchant villiage located on the sea, and contains a variety of citizens from those who are upper class and wealthy to the peasants in the streets who are attempting to thrive on what they can. The villiage is extremely large, and would be describes as a 'city' in modern terms due to the immense size and technology of the place. Technology is vital to these people, who are known for unorthodox methods of commiting plans and medical marvels that they have discovered.
Hence, the balance of power between magic and technology is maintained.

Both powers are vital to discover more effective means of life, but there are multiple difference between the two.
-Magic is neither good nor evil. It strives to be neutral, throwing the beholder of magic into a moral dillema as to which side that they should choose to maintain the power. No citizen of the fay world that lurks within the trees can thrive as a nuetral.
-Technology is found through exploration and creativity of the human race. No race is capable of such espansive thinking as this.
-Magic can never grow, it just stays the same, for it can never die either. It just transferrs.
-Technology can be discovered through both moral and immoral means
((ex. child experimentation, unlawfull corpse autopsy))
-Magic is given out by the leader of the forest who extracts it from the toxic pond and gives it to each of the tribes.
-Technology Can sometimes fail and become vitally dangerous
-Magic comes with a price.
-Technology warps the mind of many in striving to control, maintiain, and have such power.
-Magic is owned by the forest dwellers. Not humans.
-Technology is owned by the humans. Not forest dwellers.
