Tinania was the first to stir from her sleep. Yawning, she lifts her arms above her head only to wince. Sitting up slowly, she could tell already she wouldn't be able to move her wings for awhile. Slipping from the bed she was in, she was careful to not wake anyone around her.
Looking around, she smiles as she see everyone asleep. Rose and Kaela were curled close to eachother keeping her son Seiji warm. Seiji although was squirming alittle. It was a rather interesting sight to her.
Pushing her hair carefully from her face, she moves towards the window to peek out at the early morning sun. She could barely remember everything that happen last night. What she did remember was Lucas telling her she would need to return home to Emerald Haven.
Frowning, she shakes her head as she looks down at her hands. She knew she would have to soon, but she didn't want to.

"I see you are awake," The Deep voice of Dr. Vhen slid across her ear, loud enough for her to hear but not so loud that he would wake the others. Moving to her he handed her a cup of something that looked like coffee and looked out the window as she had done. "I apologize for the view, but at today's rent it's hard to keep a nice place. I do well enough to get by I suppose, and it doesn't hurt that I am the Lord's personal physician, but that and two gold pieces will get you a cup of this," He raised the mug in his hand and chuckled grimly.
"How are you feeling if I might ask? Professionalism you understand,"

Taking the cup of coffee, Tinania smiles as she takes a sip of it. It had been a long time since she actually had any coffee. Pulling the cup from her lip, she licks her lips slowly as she smiles "Sore, but with where the arrow hit me. That normal, I just have to remind myself not to move my wings. The remedy you gave me to use, works wonders. I will have to see if I can make in while continuing with my healing training."

Dr. Vhen smiled. "I would love to show you the way to make it, unfortuanly, I cannot..." Bowing his head he raised a hand to stifle any sort of outburst. "It is something I fear, you will not be able to make anywhere but in the Havens... I very much doubt that the plants we cultivate here grow anywhere else..." He tapped the window lightly pointing at the plants in the window box. "Everything in that salve was grown here."
He smiled at her and bowed his head. "I will however, be willing to show you something that might work just as well."

Looking over the plants, Tinania arches a brow. She never seen them in her life, so she believe him when he said she wouldn't be able to grow them. Glancing towards him, she arches a brow again before nodding "That would be great, if you don't mind that is." taking another sip of the coffee, she looks over her shoulder checking to see if anyone was awake yet.

If Lucas was awake, he gave no sign that he was. He had shifted to fill up the space she had left when she had woken, and was now sprawled out, mouth open in a sleep that few sleepers manage to get. It was very likely one could drop a heavy pot near his head, and he would not so much as twitch.
Dr Vhen chuckled and bowed his head. "If you will come with me," He said, motioning for her to follow him to his work table. Soon it would become apparent that not only did the Docter work here, he lived here.

Tinania follows him, only pausing as she passes by her son. Leaning down, she brush a kiss to his cheek. This gave her a small coo from the little dragon child. With a chuckle, she next moves towards Lucas.
Leaning down, she bites at his ear carefully before she moves to follow the doctor. Pausing on the other side of his work table, she looks it over. He had much more then she did that was for sure. Looking up she smiles "How long have you been a doctor?"

"Oh about fifty or sixty summers," Dr. Vhen chuckled, starting to tidy up his workbench a trifle. It was covered in papers and crucibles. Vials were strewn about, and you could see clearly that he was a very busy man, or sloppy.
Lucas rolled when Tinania walked away, so that his face was facing her, he remained sprawled, but his eyes only looked as if they were fully closed. In truth he'd been up for a few minutes, but was relaxing and drifting in and out of a very deep sleep.
The Doctor smiled and once he'd cleared his table to his liking he pulled down an old tome and started to flip through it.

Watching the doctor, Tinania's hips sway out of habit. They did that often when she was content or curious. Pushing her hair from her face, she tries to peek over to glance at the tomb.
Rose was the first one to stir, yawning, her ears twitch as she sits up slowly. Rubbing at her eyes, she glances down at her sister and Seiji. Both were still sleeping contently.

Lucas bit back a hum, he did not want to appear awake, because if he did so, it would alert the Doctor and he would go and fetch his father's men, something he really didn't want to have happen just yet. So he lay there in silenece, half awake and half asleep.
Dr. Vhen smiled when he reached the page he sought, he turned the book to Tinania and pointed at a diagram of several commone herbs. "These are what you will use to make the tincture."

Tinania looks over the different herb then smiles "I think I have attempted to make this before. But I didn't have everything, so I just added into my own herbs. That didn't work to well." chuckling she looks up at Dr. Vhen as she nods "This tome must have everything in it."
Rose ears picked up the difference in Lucas's breathing. Glancing over, she tilts her head as she watches him. Was he really trying to hide that he was awake.

Lucas rolled again, onto his stomach, and turned his head back towards Tinania so he could listen as best he could. They spoke in low voices so it was hard for him to hear, but that was fine he supposed.
Dr. Vhen chuckled and shook his head. "Hardly, I don't believe anyone knows Everything... It's got some good informaton in it yes, and perhaps, if you stay long enough, I will take you on as my apprentice."
Lucas visably stiffened.

Tinania gasp, lifting her hands to her mouth. Her eyes widen before she smiles "Really?!?!? That would be so great. I want to expand my knowledge on healing as much as I can." this would be great, she wouldn't have to actually go home. She could stay here, already she was thinking the though over. She be able to finally start anew, and not worry about anyone knowing her.
Rose blinks before she shakes her head, she knew it wasn't her place to say anything. Looking away, she frowns as she looks down at Seiji and Kaela. Everyone they would leave behind, and she knew that Emerald Haven was the safe place for them all. Sighing she nudges her sister hoping to wake her up.
Kaela eyes flutter before she too opens her own eyes. Yawning she looks up at Rose then back down at the sleeping dragon next to her.

Lucas sat bolt upright at that point, nearly falling off the bed as he sat up. "What?!" almost leaping to his feet he stood up and shook his head, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "It's not safe for her here!"
Dr. Vhen looked up and tilted his head to the side. "What do you mean Lucas? It is more than safe in Fair Haven, and I am getting on in years, and no son of my own to pass on the practice... So it would be good for me..."
Lucas started to pace, his hand running through his hair quickly. "But what about Yeshara?"
"What about Yeshara?" Dr. Vhen asked, quirking a brow. "Do you think?"
Lucas turned his gaze to Vhen and shook his head. "I know... I'm sure when she finds out I am back she will try to start something, if only out of spite..." Sighing he shook his head."
"Or not... You didn't get the letter did you?" Dr. Vhen asked.
"What letter?"
"That's what I thought... I probably shouldn't be the one to tell you... But your Half brothers are dead."
Lucas froze for a moment and stared at the doctor with wide eyes. "Even Tenneth?"
"Yes... Even Tenneth..."
Lucas sank onto the bed suddenly his head between his hands, staring at the floor, obviously in shock.

Tinania didn't understand what just happen. There were names she didn't know, and now Lucas was upset. Frowning, she moves to kneel in front of him. Placing her hands on his hands, she hopes he would look up at her. She wouldn't ask about the names, just because she knew it hurt Lucas it seems. Giving his hands a squeeze she looks back towards Dr. Vhen "Maybe a visit from his father might help?" she knew the past, but she also knew that family was blood. And no matter what, you can help but love them even if they hurt you.
Rose and Kaela both just sat there in shock. One from what just happen, and two because it didn't wake Seiji at all. Glancing at eachother, they both shook there head.
