AIM Log - Felyn & Tisiphone Persaon & Ajali A soft yawn cracked the males jaws, the gray-toned hues of his coat almost hidden in the shadows of the great tree's greenery. He was beginning to find the jungle quite boring, at least since he'd already visited the creatures that had objects worth note. He was begining, in fact, to feel that it was time to start moving on. If there was nothing left here to keep him, it might be time to start moving on towards better prospects. He had to admit, the jungle gave him lots of room to work, but it certainly didnt yield many opportunities to take advantage of that. "It may be time to move on," he muttered softly, pushing himself up lightly, balancing upon the branch beneath him. He turned his eyes upon the jungle floor in the silence, examining the flowers and shrubs growing from the earth. Not a sound, not a peep, not a soul. A mocha and black colored female weaved her way through the underbrush on a familiar path on her way home, she'd found something clinging to a tree and wanted to show it to the boys, it was a smooth rock tied to some vines that she held loosely in her mouth swinging it back and forth, it shined slightly in the light that crept in at an angle through the jungles top. The day had been boring except for her find, and the leopardess was reminded of a time when the family's tree was covered in little leopardlions that made noise at every opportunity, now those cute voices were silent, only one remained, and she was not the most talkative of nieces. The silence at home now forced her to go out and search for excitement, she'd met a few other young leopards, and a few snakes, but nothing of note that would catch her attention long enough to stay. His eyes shifted quite suddenly as a gleam of light caught his eye. He snaked through the branches, leaping and crawling until he get nearer the source, then stopped as he saw just who and what had drawn his attention so far out. A wicked grin spread across his maw - a lady with a shiny rock. Well, perhaps the jungle did have a little more to offer him. Leaping down the branches, then climbing his way down the trunk, he popped out just as she was about to pass - a grin plastered on his maw though it was as innocent as he could manage. "Hello there.Ajali shifted hearing something moving quickly through the trees she turned looking in as many directions she could at once. Turning she looked up to see the dusty gray male her eyes twinkled with excitment, something to cut the boring out of hte day. He did not seem aggressive, not exaclty innocent, but he did not attack her. she placed the necklace down and placed a paw ontop of it purposefully, this was her necklace, he wouldn't have it. "Hello, may I help you?" She was not afraid of this stranger, in fact she'd meet some very odd creatures, even one that had given the mocha leopardess her sons, Ka and Ishara, Interesting had been a very..well interesting part of her life..she remembered little of the meeting but obviously loved her sons. The male quirked a brow, a soft smirkish smile upon his mug as he relaxed into a sitting position with his back somewhat braced against a fallen log. For a moment, he simply considered her, careful not to make more than a simple glimpse at the necklace - if she knew he was after it, things would not go well. As it were, he was quite the master of making creatures think otherwise, and soon his movements became languid and lazy - the perfect picture of a social butterfly simply out to chat. "Oh, I've just been out here hanging in the trees most of the day, and when I heard you passing by I thought you might be good for a small chat to chase away my boredom?" He tilted his head at his question, watching her with perfectly innocent eyes.

Ajali relaxed his demeanor was nonagressive and she did not feel threatened by his presence. Her paw slipped slightly away from the necklace as she sat back away from him, "It is a rather boring day, do you live in these trees? I live in a large tree near here, with.." well it wasn't a large family anymore, "a few leopards and a snake." She smiled warmly not suspecting that he could be up to no good. She was always up for chatting and often ecouraged her niece too before she left, now she would need to encourage her last remaining neice to talk more, and possibly find a nice young boy to settle down with. "I am Ajali by the way, and you are?" her voice was musical in tone and she could often be heard speaking in a "sing song" voice.
He smiled as he saw her form relax, her posture become less rigid than it had been. Oh, but winning over her trust was the first step to everything. He made no move towards the necklace as she shifted away from it, nor did he even appear to look. Sure, he noticed her doing it, but he didn't draw attention to the fact. "No, sadly, I am only passing through. I'm afraid I allow the wind to call my heart, and urge my feet to follow the trail." He dipped his head to her at her introduction, eyes shutting as he did so, playing the part of a rather perfect gentleman. He could when he wanted. "Persaon," he said finally, eyes blinking open to look back up at her, "it's very nice to meet you Ajali."
She frowned, she had allowed her 'heart to be called' for many years away from her sister, and when she returned to Mleli the grouchy female was heavily pregnant, she did not think she could ever go back to a life of wandering, knowing there was people she loved so to take care of and be cared for with. She was sad, of course that her boys were grown and not the little angels they originally were, and felt like a bird pushing them away from the nest. Mleli's children had allowed the wind to call, but would Ka and Ishara follow the currents Probably not. "Following the wind has its challenges, but it's a fun life, isn't it?" she smiled," you have a very unique name, seems very stong. It is nice to see someone besides my family." she chuckled. She looked down at her foot, the rock feeling uncomfortable beneath it, "I found this in a tree this morning," she commented on it, "I've never seen someone tie rocks to vines, and I thought I'd seen almost everything, it is how the saying goes 'you learn something new every day.' it's bad to assume you know everything." she babbled on and on.
Persaon had never truly had a family, not since he was young. His mother had been the only sort he'd ever known, and he'd flown from her nest as soon as he was able. She truly wasn't the sort to really want a family - she'd had him, her only son (as far as he knew) and then let her own heart be called out again once he was old enough to fend for himself. He never truly blamed her for it, not in the slightest, especially since he'd inherited the same love of travel and adventure. "It truly is. It's kept me feeling alive all these years. I love to see new lands, but they never hold me for long. I always think there'll be something more just around the bend." He chuckled at her words, shrugging his shoulders lightly. "My mum named me, perhaps because she knew we'd part ways and I'd need to be strong for the world." He allowed himself to glance down at the necklace as she mentioned it, eyebrows quirking as if he were truly only really noticing it for the first time. "Tied to vines in a tree you say? Well, I've certainly never heard the like. Perhaps someone knew you'd find it, eh? A present for a pretty lady?" He laughed softly, glancing away from the necklace despite his urge to continue gazing upon it. Best not to pay it too much mind or she'd get suspicious.
Ajali and Mleli were originally orphaned, but they clung to one another for sometime until Mleli took off and as the mocha female when to find her the wind called her in another direction, they had not met up for years since Mleli's original meeting. Ajali held no grudge except when Mleli basically scared away all of her kids pissing them off and hitting one. "I would say I'm something /interesting/ right around the bend," she smirked, "Perhaps, I don't know whether to wear it or not, or put it back for the original owner, what do you think?" she asked sincerely, she wondered if it was best to place it back and hope the original owner would find it. But, then again what if it was not found. She stood picked up the necklace in her mouth and stutted towards him so he could get a better look, holding it and murmuring between her teeth, "Dooos it look, familar?" translation -does this look familiar to you?.

"Oh, yeah, you're definately something interesting to find around the corner here," he said with a chuckle, shutting his eyes as he did so. He was good at appearing like a friendly boy, especially when there was a goal to be had.. or perhaps goals. "Well, if the original owner left it there, then they probably didn't want it anymore. I don't think they'd have purposely put it on a vine if they were trying to keep it safe - y'know?" Of course, if he'd found he'd just have taken it - that was just how he was. Hell, he'd just found her and he was already planning to take it. He supposed if she put it back, he could just go and grab it up, but where was the fun in taking something that didn't belong to anyone? "No, m'afraid it doesn't," he said with a bit of a sigh, though he did lean forward as if suddenly interested - inspecting it as he did so. "Though I must say it's very pretty against that coat of yours."
She beamed as he said that it was obviously left because the other owner did not want it, and looked down coyly as he said it looked lovely against her skin. Males were an intriguing, interesting thing, and they always triggered a reaction in her, she felt like mimmicking his words as he spoke, the father of her sons was the same, and the call and response had been funny, but this male seemed to be friendly, but all buisness. She set it down in between the two of them so she could speak more freely, " Perhaps you and I could venture back just incase?" her sincereity about not wanting to steal something was plain as day, and she still had not caught on that he was not what he appeared to be. She started on her way, tail swaying lazily as she moved and then she paws remembering she'd set it down, she turned around, "Could you grab that, must've lost my mind for a moment."
He couldn't help the smirk that spread over his maw as she invited him to tag along on her way back to check. Of course, said grin only widened once she carelessly forgot the necklace behind her. For a moment, he simply though of grabbing it and taking off - but something about her was intriguing to say the least. "Of course, I'd be happy to escort you back to the tree. I don't think anyone'll be there, but if it gives you peace of mind, then I'm certainly willing to help." That, and perhaps his own interests had been twisted slightly. She was, after all, quite attractive. He leaned down to grab up the necklace, then slipped it over his head. "Sure thing, sweetheart," he said as he took a few strides to catch up with her. It was easiest to simply wear it - the only other way to carry it was in his mouth, and he couldn't very well talk to her then, could he? Not to mention that once he'd decided to be on his way, he'd already have it and could be off.
She walked a little hop in her step causing the rest of her to bob along. This was fun! She glanced back at him mischeviously, there was a log ahead and jumping over one was always there for a good laughs. She decided inwardly that it was best not to explain to him that her nickname from all of the children was Looneybird, she wasn't completely out of her mind, but certain actions could push her behaviour out of the line. She quickened her pace around the bend in the path and toppled over the log. She pressed her back against the bark and pulled her head in tight, ready to pounce once he mananged to move over the log. Alright, so they seemed like childs tricks, but it had seduced one leopard that she knew of, and this one did not seem far off from the last. "You coming?" She stifled her giggles and called coyly, "The tree's just up here!"
He quirked a brow at her hop, then her little dash out of sight. He wasn't sure what she was planning, but as of right now, it wasn't so bad that he felt he needed to leave. Some fems just had a bit of a quirk to them, that was nothing to be afraid of. Of course, it might mean he'd have to tred a little lighter around her until he was sure. "Of course," he said with a bit of a smirk, rounding the bend. He paused, brows furrowed as he failed to see her, though he supposed it could just be a game. Hey, nothing wrong with a little game. Still looking for her, he came up to the log, and took a leap atop it - looking around to see if she was in view. Of course, he never bothered to look down.

The mocha leopardess waited quietly and then heard nails upon bark and knew he had taken the bait, she looked up slowly trying not to catch his eye and then looked down again quickly, she bit her cheek trying very hard not to laugh. It would all e ruined if she did laugh, then she would not be able to pounce him and run off. She waited, not so patiently for him to take the rest of the bait.
With a bit of a frown, he cotinued to look around a bit longer. Well, he figured he might have underestimated the leopardess - she seemed to have slipped through his paws as easily as if she were water. Leaping down again, he gave a slow look around him. "Where'd you go?" he called, still completely unaware that the female he was pursuing was now behind him.
Success! She shouted inwardly and with a practiced grace she flung her self forward her front half landing on his rear. She wriggled foward akwardly until she was completely a top him she gave him plently of chances to leave if he wanted to. Ajali laughed openly now and bit the back of his neck suggestively before rolling off of him, scrambling to mocha colored paws the leopardess was off like a shot again around a bend in the well worn path, snickering excitedly as she went, "you'll never get me!" she shouted, all shyness that she might have rendere completely gone, she knew he was smart, and would take the hints well, now let's see if he follows. "I'll be long gone before you doo.."her voice drifted back to him.
He yelped slightly as she leapt atop him, her weight pushing him down to the ground in an ungraceful flop. His eyebrows quirked at the bite, his brain whirling as he tried to digest everything at once. Of course, by the time he had realized exactly what she was up to, she had bounded up and off again. That didn't stop the smirk from curling his maw, or the small laugh that poured from his mug. Pushing himself up, he took a moment to collect himself, then turned to begin bounding after her. "Oh, I think you underestimate me, love!" he called back, and as he disappeared into the trees after her, all that was could be heard was his laughter.
