I was taken a bit aback when I saw the lack of an event for the holiday, but then I asked myself what could be a good reason for passing this year?

Beyond the obvious lack of work that the admins would have to do, there is the glut of previous Easter event items already in the marketplace. The lack of an event, along with the reduced Easter collectibles in the population will hopefully drive up the value of previous collector's items.

Someday we'll need to have a Gaia equivalent of Antiques Roadshow to do a estimated value for a lot of that garbage. Pricing things at the Marketplace is so artificial.

Now we know the rest of the story.

In a mad dash to try and get the Battle system out the door, our Easter was sacrificed. No big loss.

Just think of the evil they will plan to do on prom night!
