American History X is a powerful movie about neo-nazis, and how one overcomes his view of the world and leaves that way of life. Some people try to tell me it is a racist movie, but as I watch it, I know it is a movie against racism. It merely has many racist characters. While the overall scope of the movie is good, it is sometimes difficult to watch. I'm just wondering how you see it. For those of you who have not seen it, I do NOT recomend younger Gaians to watch it. It is rated R, and even on TV where content is deleted, it still contains strong violence, language, and sexual themes. Please tell me what you think about it if you have seen it.

yeah I've seen this one, I thought it was good, they did the violence and such to make their point, also its very realistic in that manner. I hope to be able to watch it again

Why do I think its amazing? It was one of Edward Norton's best performances to start. It was a very thought provoking film that opened the eyes of many to see what is going on in the minds of these "neo-nazis", and how real racism is. The film makes you want to cry and be angry all at the same time.

yeah...ed nortons performance was amazing, and i thought edward furlong's performance was amazing also.
