Not a one, because I-pods are crap marketing tools and excuse to sell a device that without the I in front would cost half of what apple expect customers to pay for whats essentially a piece of clever marketing.

I'll start with my typical reccommendations-

Rellik San Not a one, because I-pods are crap marketing tools and excuse to sell a device that without the I in front would cost half of what apple expect customers to pay for whats essentially a piece of clever marketing. They've also got over 70% of the market share for mp3 players. Apple is obviously doing something right.

My reccomendation: buy a Gothic skin for your iPod, paint your nails black so when you use it everyone thinks your ubergoth, then put the following stuff on it:

Oh, and iPods suck, because anything Apple sucks. As Rellik said, they're overpriced and overrated.

DioRte Such overly-technical differences in genres ._.; Hey he asked a really open question, I needed some way to break up my answer. Besides this way he gets a good overview of all the genres in the Gothic spectrum. I'm sure he doesn't need reccomendations on mainstream pop-punk, rap-metal and emo punk. (Although if he does, I have those too).

I love my ipod, the only marketing thing Apple have done that I hate is bring out the pink nanos after christmas but ill get over it. I think you should have Type O Negative on it n_n

Shamelessly Marketing EVERYWHERE in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE 3. Easy to use 4. Putting out the iPods, then launching 7 new products and versions of every electronic item ever made, all one after the other with one week gaps in between releases. 5. Batteries that die in two years, forcing you to spend 300 more dollars on another iPod and accesories that you don't really need 6. Advertising, I don't really remember any other company who advertised at all, besides Zune, and that was for a much shorter time. 7. Having a base of Apple-loving fans. (I hate Apple, LOVE Dell. Dell is for people who aren't computer-idiots.)

Dell is for people who aren't computer-idiots.) Actually its purely all marketing, anything with a Lithium Ion battery and flash memory like the I-Pod has should last about 5 years. Macs are basically PC's for people who like to pretend they are creative but have no technical knowledge at all. Plus the fact they have a completely s**t spec on them.

Diabolic Kung Fu OSX kicks the s**t out of WIndows. OSX = s**t, there are no accessibility options, it doesn't let you access the core system files and it holds your hand for everything. Windows isn't much better either to be honest. But at least if you know what your doing you can get windows to work better then OSX. And before you start, yes I do use both, Windows at home and OSX at work.
