Silvery eyes roamed slowly over the land before her, lifts slowly moving into a pout. She'd already passed through here hadn't she..? That three looked terribly familiar.
It was terribly hard to get lost when you were wander aimlessly to begin with, but somehow, Makhi had managed to do so, making a complete circle.
" Wonderful... " She sighed out softly, moving forward to the tree. Since daybreak she'd been wandering along and it was about time she took a rest anyway. Her back thumped softly against the trunk as she dropped down into the shade, slowly pawing at the cool dirt with a content sound.
The pout was easily replaced by a bright smile as she rolled onto her back, enjoying being out of the sun.

He hardly ever stopped, sun, rain or darkness, famine never went away. His bone thin, ragged body lurched accross the land painfully, each step making a bine screaching sound as he lifted his heavy brittle limbs. He looked akin to the walking death, a being on the edge of life and perched precariously on the ledge of death.
Those whom knew him would perhaps spare words for him as he followed the calls through the world, however mst looked away in disgust or simply walked the other way. he did not often converse with other creatures, they did not understand hima nd they did not want to, it made no ends to him to simply keep to himself.
He saw the soft tan lioness in the distance but fdid not pause, he simply kept on moving towards the voices which screamed in his ears.

Were it not for the strange screeching sound, she may not have noticed the lion passing her at all. However, the sound caused her body to jerk up, eyes wide and ears perked as she looked for the source of such a noise.
And those eyes went wider still as they fell upon the lion who seemed on the verge of death. She stares in shock for a long moment, before climbing to her feet, and padding forward to the male, no caution in her step.
" Are you... alright? " She asked, shifting a bit nervously. " Well, I mean... You dont look so well... " She murmured, unable to understand why she felt so nervous around this lion. Briefly her eyes flicked to the tattered wins, before returning to his face.
What kind of a lion had wings? That seemed a bit odd... Makhi knew nothing of gods, having grown up with humans. Such things did not exist in her mind.

The lion stopped jerkily as the female stood before him. It seemed the fates required him to have words with this one. Slowly the ragged form moved to sit, the bones almost splitting the skin seemingly as he sat, every bone peering vividly fromt he ransid, sickly coloured skin.
"I am as I have always been." A voice echoes in to her ears though the lips of the sickly looking lion do not move, his shadey, stone dead eyes did not look upon her, it simply sat still without a breath of air filling it's body. Until suddenly, a breath was pulled between those tightly sown lips, a breath which seemed more effort than the task of sitting, the air rattled around behind the clearly visable lips before the noise ceased once again and silence reigned.
"It is strange to me that you would sit before me, you are not of my rhealm, you are far from it." That voice echoed once again straight to the lionesses ears, straight to her mind a disjointed voice, cool, emotionless and with some hint of sorrow laced in to the strange airy voice.

It took a great effort on her part not to jump and look around for who had spoken, even though it had obviously been him, in some way... She slowly sat in front of him, frowning softly at his words.
" Your realm..? " She asked softly, voice tinted in curiosity and worry. There may have only been a small trace of sorrow in his voice, but it struck deeply into her heart, her empathy forcing it to scream out to her.
Sadness was something she hated beyond anything, and she'd never felt it so deeply coming off another creature. The sadness and pain... It forced a shudder to ripple through her much smaller body.
" What are you..? I have never seen a lion with wings before. " She said thoughtfully, brining her smile back for him.

It was a long time of silence from the strange god before he let that breath which he had taken in rattle once again over his tightly sealed lips, the squeel of the air forcing itself past his thinned lips was nothign compared to the rattle from the chest, to anyone listening, it would seem as if this were his last breath, that he would fall to the ground dead after this horrendous death rattle, but the skeletal form did not it sat upright still, the body trembling with the effort of casting forth a breath.
"I am god little femme" That voice again directly to her though the body never reacted to the words "And my rhealm if famine, starvation, they call me Jaddis and I am what you see." The gods torn and tattared wings twitched slightly then and the decrepit head turned to look at her, as if for the first time it realised that she was there. "You are not of my domain, those not of my domain usually turn the other way, though perhaps you are too young to realise that if you do not know what I am."

" God... of famine? " She repeatedly un-surely, looking up into the lifeless eyes. If someone had simply told her such a thing existed she would find it hard to believe, and worry for their mental health. But here sat the God himself, before her very eyes.
She jerked from her thoughts suddenly, realizing she was rather rudely staring and hadn't yet introduced herself. Quickly, she bowed, before smiling up to him. " I am called Madhu Makhi... Even if I did know what you are, why should I not have approached you anyway.. Jaddis..? " She said a bit un-surely. Should she be addressing a God by his name? She did not know what else to call him!

"Those whom do not know what I am steer clear of me young one. My domain is not well loved as others." The voice stated simply the heavy looking skull like head drooping once again between the shoulder blades as if it were done examining the female.
"People fear what they do not know child, I do not understand why you do not turn away." The voice paused then as the body took another of those long, drawn out, painful breaths.

" I've sensed no malice from you. You've not tried to harm me, or act cruel. " Her head tilted to the side with a thoughtful humm. " I guess to many you would look scary, but not to me. I can't find anything to fear from you. " She said softly, tail swishing across the soft dirt.
" Famine. I imagine it wouldn't be well liked. I've gone hungry out here quite often ever since my escape. I'm terrible at hunting. " She murmured in embarrassment. " And hunger is a horrible feeling. But it's a part of life, just as anything else. If we never got hungry our world would begin to unravel. "
She shifted her front paws a bit, looking down to the ground, embarrassed by her own outspoken-ness.

That strange voice echoed in to her ears in laughter at her words, the laugh was a strange whisper of fear and even calls of hunger but it was laughter none the less. The god lifted his sullen head once again and the lips turned in a smile, if it could be called that for the stretching of those sown lips caused the wounds around the bindings to bleed softly, deep sticky red blood running down his chin.
"You are wise beyond your years young one. Without famine the world cannot rejuvenate, but that does not mean that my paws on the land are appreciated. I am what you see before you and mortals do not like it even if it is necessary." His voice sounded a little more jaunty, if that was possible, his words going straight to her mind rather than from those now bleeding lips.

Her head lifted, unable to help but smile at having caused him just a little bit of amusement. He didn't seem one to laugh or smile often, which was obvious by the blood on his lips.
" Wise? I'm not so sure about that. I know very little about anything, I simply speak what I feel. " Her tail curled around herself as she looked up to him, smile turning sad.
" I admire you... As you said, you are not appreciated, and often feared. But you stay in this world, and your domain remains, even for those who are so ungrateful, keeping this world balanced. "
She gave him a teasing grin then, tail flicking back out. " You are much stronger than you look, Jaddis. I feel less worried by that. "

The ragged gods head nodded slowly. "I have been around for hundreds of thousands of years child, the strength I have is for those whom tread my domain. What you see, what you look at is what you need to see of famine, I suffer because they suffer, you hear my voice this way because to join truely with the form you see would cause me more pain than I, even as a god, could handle."
He finally let the breath he had taken earlier go once again, it was sometimes hard to remember to breath for mortals, though he obviously did not need to, to seem alive he did it for them.

Her smile turned sad once more, eyes sliding shut. " Those in your domain are very lucky to be ruled by such a compassionate God, who is willing to go so far to be a companion to them, and know their pain. "
Her eyes re-opened, to once more look up at him, head tilting a fit to see his eyes. " I am lucky to have met you. "

Jaddis' deep, stony eyes stared back, but all that could be seen was hollow shadow, whisperrs of soemthing within. he had distanced himself many, many years ago from the body that walked, only allowing himself the agony when his 'people' were close.
"I travel the world young one to those whom call me, what you hear inmy voice is them, they call to me and I must go to them to comfort them, to show them the doors to death or the beautiful light that is life. I live this life by choice and I do not regret it. I am no martyre, I am simply what I am and do not want to give it up."
For a single moment then the eyes showed black pupils and the glimer of brown eyes, a shiver echoed down his spine but the moment passed and he was once again away fromt he skeletal body. "It has been a pleasure to meet you young one, however I cannot sit all day, I must move on, theya re calling for me, if you wish you can walk a few steps with me but you must stop when I tell you. You do not want to see what I do."

Her eyes widened at seeing that slight spark of life in the gods eyes, and she gave a light nod at his offer, rising to her feet. " I will walk with you as far as you allow, Jaddis. It will give me a new direction to travel as I wander this world. "
" I hope you can forgive me for taking so much of your time for this chat. I'm very grateful that you would bother to stop and talk with me. " She smiled to him, waiting for him to raise and continue on his path before falling in to step beside him.
"In the future, should I see you in passing, I hope that you should have to time to spare for another talk. Even a God must feel the need for a friend to speak with from time to time? " She asked a bit un-surely, eyes traveling across the land before them.
