Before you question my sanity, allow me to explain.
I have no idea why I thought of this pairing, but a part of me really likes it. Sokka is the goofy, unrestrained (except when it comes to people he's lost - then he tends to hide his feelings) comical character of the Avatar cast, who tends to vioce his thoughts on a situation, no mater what it may be. Mai, on the other hand, is very closed and apathetic seeming, expressing herself only through sarcastic comments and when she has been repeatedly poked at and annoyed (like in 'The Beach'). They are both very, very differnt, and I think that would make for some interesting situations. Plus, it would open opportunity to some amusing conversation between Sokka and Zuko, and it would probably result in an intersting rivalry between Mai and Ty Lee.
So, do you see where I'm coming from, or have I completely lost my marbles? *crazy-eyed smile*
In other news, I have absolutely no idea what to call this pairing.

As soon as I can figure out what to write, anyway. >.> That's the problem with pairings like this - it's hard to write them in a way that makes sense. xD I'm thinkin' of maybe trying to write a multichaptered story about them, but there's some other plots I wanna take care of first. xP

Hmm.. I like the sound of Mokka. :3 That is what I shall call it. It sounds like the coffee. Mai seems like the kinda of person you'd find hiding in the erie shadows of a coffee shop. And Sokka lokks like the kind of guy who needs to lay off the caffine. Some of my fav crack parings was Bluzula(Azula+Blue Spirit) Eww but funny, and Sokka+Azula which I guess could be Sula. Not sure. Mainly because of there interaction in the day of black sun invansion. I think they'd make a nice little crazy couple smile

Sula is a pretty amusing pairing, too. It would definitely be interesting when coupled with Zutara, and I can only imagine the events that would lead to Sokka deciding Azula was a good match for him. xD And Zuko and Katara's reactions would be priceless.
