Oh where could she be!
Briskly walking through the packlands with her nose sniffing diligently, the large blonde alphaess was on a mission. Leaving her newborn pups in the care of their father and Juude; Bindi moved on to try and locate her 'other' pup - Calixte. Sure, she'd half adopted the little one after finding her all alone; but it felt like she'd personally given birth to her. The wolfess had love to give in bounds, and even though her time had been consumed as of late nursing the hungry puppies she'd never forget her little bundle of blonde fluff much like herself.
"Calixte? Where did you go?"
She called out worriedly, having asked around the packlands and finding no one had seen her for a day or two. Hopefully she didn't wander too far; for the mother feared that if it was too far she'd have to send someone else to locate her little girl since she was obligated to stay close to feed. There were no other females able to provide for the pups so it was completely up to her; not that she minded.
However, she wasn't used to handing off the bucket for someone else to complete what she had to do.
It was strange though, having her old body back and no longer the swollen pregnant one she'd become so used to. Bindi almost felt as if she was floating when trotting around; no longer weighed down and able to be elegant and agile once more. Pausing for a moment as she picked up something on the wind; she knew it could be no other than her little Calixte! Pushing forth in a more eager speed; she could pick up two other different but similar scents along with her daughter's. This of course spiked her intrest indefinately, as she passed through the small pathway leading into her packlands through the mountian; eyes focused to the treeline just a few feet away.
"Calixte?" She called out tentively, waiting for an answer if any.

Calixte giggled, trotting near the borders with her two bestest friends in all the land. They had finally managed to cross the borders though the trip had been long and her own paws felt sore and heavy. Scents of all Pandemonium surrounded them, but to the blonde and spotted pup she found the smells reassuring. This truly was her home, and was a place she never wanted to leave. It was strange to the pup that she realized only now, as she trotted around her two friends, how much she had missed the pack. Though the pup never wanted to be away from Rend and Maim her heart belonged fully to those within the land.
This was her home. . .forever and always.
". . and if you keep going over there," she hosted, guiding the pups over every stone and rock they passed. "you'll find a log that Uncle Juuuude got his head stuck in once; and past that, you'll find a field that gets covered super high in mist in the mornings! It's really fun to run around and tag all the adults, 'cause they can't see you when the mists so thick!" Calixte wanted nothing more than to make sure her friends knew everything about their new home - or what she hoped might be their new home.
Food was on the list, but that required an adult as she couldn't find any carcasses nearby. But maybe as they got deeper in the territory? She was too busy explaining to Rend and Maim the importance of all the details of the land to even think about calling for help; they'd bump in to one of the bigger ones sooner or later.
"And oh! Let me tell you - - -" Two ears pricked and the girl fell quiet, eyes going wide as a new voice broke through. Was that her name? Was that her name being called!? And was that who she THOUGHT it was!??! Eyes sparkling in delight, the little pup gave a giddy laugh and yip, jerking forward in excitement to meet Bindi. "MOMMA~!" She cried unabashedly, leaping up at the first sign of the golden alpha. Tassel tail wagging a million miles per hour, the little pup attempted to give Bindi kisses with every jump, a radiant smile crossing her features.
She missed her the most.
"Oh Momma look at you!" The pup paused to give Bindi a double take, not used to her small size and seemingly frailness. Where was the mother she knew? Awfully thin, that's what. Maybe she needed to eat some more. But wait. . . Shaking her head, not following up on her thought, the little pup remembered her two bestest friends in the entire world! Eyes lighting again, she giggled and dashed underneath Bindi's paws. "Come see what I found! Come meet my bestest friends ever!"
Though she was dusty, hungry and sore, the little female bridged the distance between her mother and friends. Dashing around the pair, she offered each a nuzzle and lick before flopping firmly best them.

They had been running for what felt like forever, to Rend. He was completely skinny and without much muscle of his own to help him get through strenuous exercise such as the run to Calixte's home.
Though he felt as though he could drop dead at any moment, the nearly sickly pup kept his mouth shut, for fear of taunting or repercussion from his brother - the strong one... the king. His god, for now.
He answered Calixte when she spoke to him, of course, but that was it save for muffled cries when he stumbled or his softer pawpads hit a stone or branch the wrong way, causing him pain. He was happy when the beloved female puppy gave the word that they were "home" and thusly started the tour.On the other paw, Maim had no problem with the run. He was winded by the time they slowed, but not too badly set back by the journey they had finished. He was mainly overjoyed to have run so far in the opposite direction of where Mother was. She would never find them here, and even if she did... - his maw curled into a nasty, toothy little grin. Mother wouldn't hurt them anymore, and neither would Father.
But enough of that. The land that Calixte was showing them and explaining most every detail of was beautiful. He had thought his sun-kissed clearing was amazing, but this took first place in any beauty contest. He mused at her as she spoke fondly of everything that came into her mind to speak about, and smiled at mention of thick mist. He couldn't wait to see it, to play in it.
Maim watched as Calixte fell quiet. He had heard it too, but thankfully it sounded nice enough. He smiled as his friend shot off like a rocket, running to, apparently, her mother.
He nudged his brother forward after the two females were reunited, and went up to meet - hopefully - his new packmother.
