I've been on rifle for about a month, the highest I've tossed is a five and a half, but it was only supposed to be a five. The most we toss in basics block [and that anyone currently has in the show] is a five, though on rare occasion sabres get sixes. Flags...uhm...I don't know what they do, but if they hadn't reweighted my flag I would be able to do a triple. Now it just floats =[

For some reason, whenever my instructor isn't looking, I toss my saber at 6...but when she IS looking, I drop it miserably! It's not like I'm nervous around her or anything... I toss flags at 3 maybe... I haven't used a rifle yet.

My highest on rifle...currently is a triple because I got stuck with the heaviest rifle in the entire collection, even though when I got it, it was my first season as a weapon. I believe I once tossed an eight on the saber, even managed to catch it, miraculously. And on flag, I dunno. I accidentally did a double horizontal once...before I became too afraid of them to toss them anymore. Oh and I did a triple on a flip-n-flick once.

I'm not in a guard of any sort, per se... I'm a drum major. I don't throw rifles, sabres, or flags... but I throw maces. 4 stories is my personal best... I've seen 12 before. Keep in mind... it's not like throwing a rifle. It's balanced closer to the head than the middle.

hum, mmmmm well i think my biggest for rifle is a 6ish, but for it to be solid a five ....... saber, i really don't know a limit, i've never tried a 7 before, it seems just a little outragous..... and for flag, tell me about somthing new, and i'll try any new toss, thats my favorite part about guard, i'm a wicked tosser : ) ...ballet and body movment wise.... i hold the school title for...... queen of klutz...hehehhe

With my heavy rifle I can toss a 9 and did so in my senior solo, even tho it was supposed to be a quad. But it was my last show so what the heck huh? And a 3 on a flag. I guess I have a bit of an advantage tho being a dude.
