It had been some time from when the little female had left her adopted mother. She was now in her adolescence and was turning into a beautiful lioness much like her real mother she had never meet. She then took a deep breath as she laid on a large rock beside a small pound.
She looked at her reflection in the water as she thought about her other half as she looked at herself splitting it in two as she looked at her refection one was calm and soothing with a dark red eye the other was fierce and evil with a brilliant gold. She let out a soft grow as she swatted at the water below making her reflection ripple about from the small wave currents. She then looked to the sunset sky seeing the amazing red blues and purples and some orange hues in the sky. She then thought of the night so long ago of the faint smell of her mother that still lingered in the back of her mind.
The average sized female then stood up as she turned and leaped off the rock going out to hunt for her nights meal. She moved her body low to the ground seeing a group of antelope. She smirked slightly as she was about to take off but something caught her eye in the distance stopping her from doing anything.

What appeared to be a large white hooved beast at first glance, was in reality a lion of a size that was unnaturally huge, his silver eyes sharp for a lion his size. Normally lions born that large tended to have slower brains, this was not one of these however. Intelligence, if not innocently so, swirled beneath the heavy lidded silver eyes of the lion who, at that current moment, was busy following his nose to the watering hole the female had been at only moments before.
Thoughts swirled through his head unheeded, reminding him of things he'd heard in times past, annoying him, in general reminding him of what he wished not to know of himself. That he was alone in a world that thrived on togetherness and cubs.
That he, the demi-god child of Loneliness was cursed so thoroughly different from either his father or his brother, that even despite their happiness he'd been unable to find his own.
It made Akiiki's heart throb for a lone moment as the male finally drifted into the vicinity of the watering hole... feet first. It was only when the water soaked his elbows that he aimlessly bent his head down and lapped at the water, oblivious to the world around his body.
His father had taught him differently, however Akiiki wasn't entirely there at the moment. He was trying his hardest to ignore the words of the demon that inhabited his head. Okoth had recently been coming back in full force, his words so sharp that he often overpowered Aki's mind, making him say things he hadn't wanted to.
However, something's eyes on him made the fur of his spine prickle, breaking his concentration on Okoth and forcing his dancing eyes to scan the ground around him. Whatever it was felt as if it had the eyes of a hawk. Maybe that's all it was, but the demi-god had learned quite a bit in his life, and feelings of being watched tended to be warranted around him.

The female growled seeing the antelope run off from the male disturbing them. She then watched him causally go to the water hole. Looking to the male she noted his large size. She then smirked softly walking off back to the rock she was on. She jumped onto it as she sat on top of it as she leered down at the large male basking in the water.
"Nice scars there." She said referring to the ones on his face she to had scars but her where more impressive and scattered over her body. She then jumped down landing beside him as water splashed onto the two. The afternoon began to turn into night witch grew cold. Foolish lions for being in the water at this time of night but neither seemed to notice.
"Come on big boy tell me how you got them." She said as she looked to the male as she nudged him slightly. "Come on don't be scared tell me." She said getting a little persistent about wanting to know about this rouge male she had never seen before but there was just something about him that called out to her.

Once more the feelings of watch were warranted, once again Akiiki was being watched by the proverbial hawk that he could never see. Both of his white ears swivvled forward, eyes following afterwards, sharp and all but tinged with color that normally wasn't there.
Okoth surged beneath the white fur of Akiiki's body, letting his larger Firekin body settle into the male's skin as if he'd always belonged. The silver of Akiiki's eyes dissapeared as Okoth took over, turning them rose.
The cub really was getting too easy to control now.
"Haven't you heard that sneaking up on others is a sin?" Okoth purred, his voice didn't sound anything like Akiiki's beautiful bard voice, it was filled with ice and edged with stone and rain. "Especially since you don't know the lion to which you speak."
He was gone in that second, forced back into the mind of the large lion, his eyes turning silver once again.
"They come from being taken over by a monster and being brought back by welcoming jaws of a familiar." Akiiki said, it sounded as if his voice were a bell, raising above the sounds around them like the scores of a violin matched by wind instruments. Drums were his laugh, flutes his exhales.
A bard through and through.
"If you want to know of mine so greatly, where did yours come from may I ask?"
It was a valid question, filled with disgust for himself at having to ask it.

The female looked to the male her dark red eyes winded seeing the males eyes changed as she sat there looking at him for several moments not saying anything. Then snapping out of she let out a small growl as she looked to him.
"A Male should have manners." She roared out slightly before growing quite and her ears falling slightly seeing the change again as she blushed just slightly hearing the male speak. It was unlike anything she had heared before.
"Mine...where from a fight when I was younger. I too have a unsettling monster with in this scared body." She said softly as she looked at her reflection. She then began to growl as she moved her paws to her head as she fell back from the imbalance. She began to pant as she turned over onto her feet as she looked to her nervously.
"Excuse me...they tend to get loud at times do they not?" She said as she then looked to the sky as she tried to suppress the evil Oni'awiti.

Okoth whispered in the back of Aki's mind, tickling his brain and making the lion desperately wish to bang his head against the nearest rock. He really had to get rid of thise stupid thing, but he couldn't go near his father to get rid of him because Athrun was more than likely privy to killing HIM as well.
"Most males don't live with a demon, nor do females for that matter. It's easy to tell in one's eyes, if there's something within their own or something that wriths behind their eyes in the guise of their fur." Akiiki stated, his violet eyes seemed to darken for a moment as he thought of the years of pain, of all the times he could have been happy but then was forced to sacrifice it so Okoth wouldn't destroy someone elses happiness along with his own.
His scars weren't badges of honor, they weren't even scars that meant anything other than annoyance and pain to him. A sullen reminder that he'd gone through something no cub should have had to.
"My familiar gave these to me, trying to drag me back from the other side more than once. He did it for my own good I suppose. They aren't anything impressive." His voice was deeply resonant of the drums and trumpets of the hillmen in the distance.
Sadness.
If music had a color his was blue right now.

Maso dark red eyes filled with depression as she looked upon this lonely sad lion. She too knew the pain of scars for all of hers where much the same. Looking the the sky the almost full adult lioness took a deep breath as she looked at the majestic colors of night soon begging to cast their colors across the sky.
"At least you did not have the shame full act of doing them yourself." She said as she looked down to her reflection in the water viewing at the scars on her nose. She sighed softly as she shuddered a little a cold chill coming across the rouge lands. She turned to the male her body moving closer to his.
"If...I may be so bold in asking but...would tonight be a night where a lowly white female share company with a white male?" She said as her deep red eyes looked into violet eyes. She seemed sweet and caring very much unlike the demonic monster that was screaming in her head in defiance not wanting to be near the male.

Despite how innocent she seemed, Akiiki was against it, the fact showed in every facet of his body, in every muscle that made up the bulk of his large body. The fact that shew as innocent and sweet was all the more reason to be so against it.
To save her from it, to save her from dealing with a monster she could understand in her own mind, but not in the mind of others.
His individual monster was ravenous, loved any female that walked. It was all the same, all faces that he'd seen while his body remembered each his mind began to pool them together.
"I can take you to a safer place than here... but the monster isn't one to be tampered with.... I'm not one to place the bets of a young female in the hands of such a destroyer." Sadness tinged his voice even darker blue, until it was almost black with the dismay.
This was why Akiiki rarely spoke any longer, why he couldn't bring himself to be around others, to love, something he wanted so deeply that his heart seemed to chip and shatter further with each time he glimpsed it, with each time he heard it.
Forsaken....

"Stupid male!" yelled out a deeper voice the the female usual tone. "All you ever do is use us to get off then run away never wanting to help to the female extent!" Oni'awiti yelled out. but before she could say another thing she yelled out in pain from Maso getting a hold over her by slashing her front left paw deeply with two claws.
The female now back in control whimpered as she looked at her wound. "Foolish child." She said as she looked at her now blood soaked foreleg. She then limped over to the water as she looked at as if trying to get ready to soak her paw into the water.
"Mmm...I hate when she sneaks up on me. She only does it when I'm alone or when someone happens to say something to set her off." She said as she looked to the male. "Its not your fault you have a monster to tend to just like I." She said as she sat down in the water as she kept looking to him her eye full of hurt.
"I'm sorry you had to see that. No one should see what I have to do." Maso replied softly.

"Oh darling, if getting off were the case I'd hardly choose you." Okoth sneered, the once silver eyes in the large snowy male were rose colored, hatred of pure kind. If Okoth stayed too long in the front of Aki's conscious his body would slowly begin to tinge gray, as if Okoth could take his entire body over.
Then just like that he was gone, before Okoth could even take a step. Akamichi had once showed him how to throw his weight against how Okoth took control. There was always a breaking point for the demon lion's control.
"As should no one have need to see how I rid myself of the cawing of a certian individual. Yet here we are." Akiiki said in a gentle voice, fluting from his muzzle as lightly as a bird on its wings. "It's not for anyone to see how we change the control to our favor. It's merely fact that it happens."
His violet tail curled around his hind paws in the water for a moment and he twisted to step from the waters to the edge so he could sit, without being waist deep. The second his paws hit land Okoth howled in his mind, laughter pealing off his skull in ways he'd never heard before.
Both of his paws were sunk back down beneath the water in short movements, faster than before. Okoth stirred once more and then fell silent.

She finally took a deep breath sinking her paw into the water as she grunted out. moving her other paw she began to brush off the dirt from the wound opening it a little more so the it would bleed easily and heal faster. She then pulled her paw out as she began to lick it clean finally getting her fur to look some what back to its white color. She then began to moved out of the water but stopped as her wound began to gush out blood at a alarming rate

She finally took a deep breath sinking her paw into the water as she grunted out. Moving her other paw she began to brush off the dirt from the wound opening it a little more so the it would bleed easily and heal faster.
"Don't...you just hate wounds?" She said grunting as she looked back to the male with pain in her eyes as she whimpered before turning back to her leg.
She then pulled her paw out as she began to lick it clean finally getting her fur to look some what back to its white color. She then began to moved out of the water but stopped as her wound began to gush out blood at a alarming rate.
"Mm...Hey...i-is it suppose...to do-" She was cut off by her eyes rolling back as she began to saw slightly before falling to the ground quite limp. She let out a grunt of pain but it was soft and didn't seem like one she would normally have.
She grunted and squirmed about as if her mind was getting the best of her and her demon inside her was yelling and screaming and wailing from the wound as she tried to take control to try and preserve the body and make it not bleed out.

Instantly he was beside her, his silver eyes shimmering in the darkness as he watched what was unfolding. She'd gone and scratched a vein, meaning that if something didn't happen soon she was going to die.
Deep down within him Okoth crowed with laughter, amused that another demon would wind herself up in such a fix when he himself was so great. He wouldn't force Akiiki's mind to break so that he would kill himself.
Noooo, Okoth still needed Akiiki alive, alive enough for him to get his revenge, alive enough for him to be able to live through him. If the little one croaked before his time then Okoth wouldn't have that sweet feeling.
Ignoring Okoth's laughter, Akiiki glanced around and did the best thing he knew how to do. He leapt into the water and made himself a mess. He grabbed mud in one of his huge paws and hopped back over to her and slapped it down on her leg, molding it into her wound and hoping that it would stop the horrible bleeding.
His wish wasn't fullfilled. She was still bleeding and bleeding and there was no moss around to stuff in there to staunch it. Only watery mud that made things worse.
A grunt like the heavy hammer of a gong came from deep in his chest and Akiiki made a face before starting to lick her leg clean again. This wasn't his idea of a good time, he didn't even like the taste of blood though he had many scars. However a young lioness like this didn't deserve a fate so cruel.

She soon began to wake as she looked up at him blushing seeing him so close to her. Not only was he close he seemed worried and they didn't know each other to well. An now...now he was licking her leg. Goodness how her body seemed to be on fire seeing this male do such a thing never had she felt like this was was going on? Why was she so interested in having him keep licking her? Why was she blushing is such a manor she thought her fur would turn red soon. Why was she thinking of all these things?
She wince a little letting him know that she was awake as she looked to her wound trying to calm her blushing face as she saw that it was deep but the bleed seemed to have slowed greatly even though her heart was beating so fast.
"I'm...okay I think." She growned as she said nothing leaning into him more. "Not what I had in mind with having company but this is just fine." She said softly closing her eyes.
"Thank you...for being so kind." She said as she moved to nuzzled him a little. His fur was so soft and white much like hers she loved it. She the wounded it her father was similar to this male though she had never seen or known anything about him she always wondered. She then opened her eyes as she looked to the male blushing a little.

Tongue still rasping over the flesh of her leg, Akiiki didn't realize the female was speaking to him until he heard her thank him, and by then she was done speaking and was nuzzling him.
the blush that settled over his white cheeks could have been called blazing. Here he was, trying to help her, and she was doing something so distracting. Akiiki should have been angry, should have been frustrated that she was distracting him.
But his heart was thudding against his ribcage in a way that it had only done once before when he'd felt something akin to feelings for a lioness. A lioness that had in turn changed her mind and feelings towards another after giving him her full attention.
Now he was getting attention... what was he to do?
"You're welcome." He grunted in response, a blue horn's note. "But I'd rather you not nuzzle me until I know your name at least. It seems a little unfair."
His silver eyes flicked up to her as he stayed his blood covered tongue from it's job for a moment. She was watching him as he cleaned out her wound, the least she could do was supply him with a name.
