As the title says, folks. This is where you put in your voice on what you want to see happen here. Its like a community brainstorm people, give us brains. domokun domokun domokun Quote: Ideas so far: -Separate Sub-forum for non-Star Wars discussion/roleplays -Intellectual Debates

Activity seems quite low. But then again, I'm one to speak.

This thread is about what you purpose to do about said problem, or any others bubbling up in that brain-pan of yours.

It doesn't matter how many times you remake the thread, Des I'm going to post my mind.
As stated before, I honestly have no gripes about how things are being run. If this is a star wars guild, then its interests are kind of slim. But if I had a specific idea, complaint, or whatever, I'd be posting in the senate. While things like that easter event discussion were kind of pathetic in response, i figure that people will speak when they have something to say.

How about expanding to include discussion of BSG, Star Trek, and other stuff?

Plus, this is the Official Star Wars guild, not some Official Hybrid-because-we-don't-have-much-to-talk-about-in-sci-fi-guild. I'd probably find this place boring if we blurred its view.

And you still dont seem to see the reason I have this here, it isnt about how things are run, its what is run. Maybe people even have a problem with how things are run, and if so then speak up! Its not like it'll be held against you.
We want to know what people want to do, Rps, events, etc... Have the members tell us what they want to see, give ideas for things they may of had.
Including other sci-fi interests isn't out of the picture either, it may be a star wars guild, but we can fully well host other interests on the side, maybe even have a separate forum for such, but that requires such an idea to be put before the guild and voted upon, or a strong enough voice made. Thats where the senate comes in handy, because after such ideas have been voiced, they can be brought over to be more widely discussed in a specific thread for the topic.
We still have our pride as a Star Wars guild, but perhaps expanding our interest could be worth-while, as long as we do not stray to far from what we really are.
Have you ever noticed how quickly the subject can change in the Cantina?

My half a cent is pretty much the same spiel that I gave in the mod thread. My faith is that the people will be able to utilize the resources provided should they see something unfit. Until then, such silence amounts to approval of the current protocol in place.
I personally don't have much care as to what happens, save for turning this guild into one of the numerous multi-universe Sci-fi guilds and having to turn in our title of official. But that's the guild's decision.

We're the Official Star Wars Guild. we fought hard for that title. Changing us to anything else means we've got no name anymore.

Its guild about star wars but of course, eventually you will move to other subjects as well. I don't see what the problem is surprised

Maybe make threads in the Outer Rim, or add another subforum to serve as " Other Sci-Fi Things " places, keeping them out of the main forum so that it's clear that the main theme is still SW, so the " official " part isn't lost.
Hell, the fact that we have an Off Topic thread in the main forum kinda does that already, so doing it that way can't really hurt things much more than that.
I dunno. As I said in the mod forum, I don't think anything we do will really affect our numbers or the amount of activity. I'm not against trying though. Something's better than nothing, etc.
