After graduating from the Academy the Hyuuga house has requested that you be withheld from a Shinobi Team until you are considered "fit" by the family standards to join one. You recieve word that Mizuko, a former prodigy of the Branch house, will be overseeing your testing and missions from the family.

That night you recieve a letter from Mizuko that entails you to write out the following in journal form to bring to her the next day:
-Your standard information (Name, Age, Height, Weight, Shinobi Rank)
-What your personal Element(s) are
-What combat forms you specialize in (Jyuken, any weapons, Ninjutsu Techniques, etc)
-What your hobbies are
-Do you have any pets? If so, what kind
-What your goals as a shinobi are
-Why you decided to become a shinobi
-What kind of people do you best get along with
-Any misc. information you want to add for Mizuko


Former Mission(s):

The next morning after breakfast you head out to the courtyard in the center of the Hyuuga estate. Mizuko stands there with her hands behind her back as you approach, then greets you with a proper, "Good morning Hakuri." Moving her hands in front of herself as she bows towards you.

"Did you complete the assignment that I had sent to your quarters?" She asks as her right hand falls to her side and her left is outheld to take the scroll from you.

((Oh I decided Mizuko was a more fitting name than Yuki, in case there was any confusion.))

You inquiry was met by her prompt bopping you on the head with the scroll. She stands up and says in an almost-motherly fashion, "The correct way to greet your superior is 'Good morning Mizuko-senpai' or 'Good morning Sensei'. Do well to remember that Hakiru."

She then opened up your scroll and looked over the information, "Because you will fill out another form like this at the end of our training. The answers are to be sent to the Main Branch to determine if you are worthy to carry out kunoichi missions in the Hyuuga name."

She rolled up the scroll and placed it in the pack on her side, "Now then, we will begin with an examination of your skills. Since you have stated it is with the Jyuken and Senbon will test those first."

She reached into another pouch on her leg and unrolled a long scoll on the ground.
~POOF~
A row of training dummies appeared and she said, "First we will test your Jyuken. Use an open-palmed attack on the first dummy."

Power + Attack + 1 + 8-Sided Dice = Total Number of Successes
16 Successes or More Needed to hit the Dummy
15 Successes or Lower is considered a Miss

Mizuko nods her head, "Very good Hakiru. Now on the next dummy I want you to perform an open-palm strike on the body and immediately follow it with a strike to the head."

There was another ~POOF~ a second dummy appeared from the scroll. Mizuko pulled out a scroll and wrote something down on it quickly.

18 Successes or More Needed to hit the Dummy Twice
16 or 17 Successes Needed to hit the Dummy Once
15 Successes or Lower is considered a Miss with Both

~POOF~
Another target dummy appeared to the right of the last one you attacked. Mizuko, who has been standing a few feet behind you this whole time, doesn't comment on the last training dummy.


Instead, she writes something down on the small scroll in her hand then looks back towards you, "For this dummy you are to strike the body twice then aim for the head once again." A swift wind blew through the courtyard and she brushes her short, dark locks of hair from her face.

Power + Attack + 1 + 8-Sided Dice = Total Number of Successes
19 Successes or More Needed to hit the Dummy Three times
17 or 18 Successes Needed to hit the Dummy Twice
16 Successes Needed to hit the Dummy Once
15 Successes or Lower is considered a Miss with Bot

As the dust settled you could see the dummy had been split in the midsection and its head was completely separated from its body. You hear Mizuko clap twice from behind you in approval of your outstanding performance with that dummy.

~POOF~
Another dummy appeared and your sensei spoke, "For the final dummy you are to use two strikes to the body followed by two strikes to head."

Power + Attack + 1 + 8-Sided Dice = Total Number of Successes
20 Successes or More Needed to hit the Dummy Four times
19 Successes Needed to hit the Dummy Three times
18 or 17 Successes Needed to hit the Dummy Twice
16 Successes Needed to hit the Dummy Once
15 Successes or Lower is considered a Miss with Bot

Mizuko put her hand on your right shoulder to move you away from the dummy. She examined it then decided to state the obvious, "I see you did not hit the dummy at all that time."

~POOF~
The last training dummy along with all the others disappeared in a large cloud of white smoke. Mizuko rolled up the scroll and placed it back into her side pack. As she fished around the same pack for another scroll she states, "Well your skill in the Jyuken is slightly below average but it is within the accepted limits for a branch member."

Objective: Jyuken Training! Complete


She walks 8 yards south of you and rolls out the second scroll, as before there is another poof at the end and a dummy with a target on its chest and head appears. She walks pack towards you and places a small pack full of senbon into your hands. "Now we will test your marksmenship."

She stands slightly behind you again and says, "Hit the target on either the body or the head Hakiru. Begin."

Power + Half Attack - 1 + 8-sided Dice = Total Number of Successes
18 or More Successes Needed to Strike the Target Zone on the Head
16 or 17 Successes Needed to Strike the Target Zone on the Chest
15 or Lower Successes is considered a Miss
