In the beginning...
In the summer of 2003, the construction of an innovate theme park began off in the west field of Barton and it promised to be a place where everyone would enjoy themselves. Before the doors to the park could be opened, however, a terrible accident occurred, taking the lives of many innocent workers and bystanders. What, or who, happened to Jekyll de Hyde, nobody knows. There is no record of the accident-- not a news paper clipping; not a police report, only knowledge that the place was turned into a bloodbath.
Rumors on what occurred that year abound. Some say its a curse. Others believe that someone fell asleep at some control and things got out of control too fast to do anything about it. There are a few who believe the place is evil-- they may be right. The grassy mound upon which the amusement park was being built turned to dust.No water or grass could be found... and people swore to feel an evil presence upon the grounds.
Late in July of 2004 the theme park was resurrected and completed.Or was it? New additions to the park pop up every now and then in the same manner in which the project was started again. Oddly enough, the workers seem to get all their work done at night time: no one has ever seen them in broad daylight. Despite the rumors and horror that surrounded the place, a handful of brave souls made the Jekyll De Hyde their home for a good while. Inevitably, every single one those members were either driven away in one form of another-- all on mysterious circumstances... (Please read the story for details)
It is now December 2005 and people have begun to arrive to the desolate JdH in the same mysterious fashion that they vanished.....and the Hyde has not changed much in its overall appearance.
It is the same slice of heaven in daylight it always was, and a little taste of hell at night.

The Rules
* Butchering the English language means suffering an exrutiatingly longand painful death at the hands of the Whip-wielding mod, Demise.
* No, it really IS physically impossible to dodge a bullet point blank, and you're not impervious to the laws of physics.
* Be creative with your character. I mean, how many heirs can Satan possibly have?
* Keep in mind: people don't normally have a sniper rifle, a bazooka, a shotgun, a ******** of grenades, twenty two pistols and unlimited ammo in their back pocket. Neither do you
** If there's some 'godmoding' thing you want to do because it'll fit in with the RP, ask either me (Demise) or a moderator first. If we say you can do it, go ahead-- so long as its stylishly done and doesn't interfere with the damned play.
Remember, all this is taking place starting December 21, 2005

The Layout
Imagine the layout of Jekyll de Hyde like a pizza. The grounds are shaped in a circle, and each section is like a slice of pizza, in a way.
The first slice would be the hotel and hot spring area. There lies a large hotel with many rooms, and artificial hot springs where you can change the heat of the water, among many other things. The hot springs are, of course, out doors. Inside of the hotel is a bar and restaurant where one can buy a drink, or a bite to eat. For the most part, you can find anything you want here. However, if it's anything hard to find, or illegal you're best off getting it yourself.
Another part of Jekyll de Hyde would be the fun and games area. Here you can find many rides such as roller coasters, or concession stands. Also, there is an arcade which is inside a near by building which holds every video game made. This building is designed for any sort of gamer, and all the games are free!
Next comes the haunted area, which is actually haunted of course. Here is your haunted house where many murders took place. The building is full of death.. It's best to stay out, because the spirits who haunt the mansion are out to kill those that are alive in jealousy. Even as you walk by, cries of terror can be heard.. But, they're cut short, due to the fact that they have more then likely been killed. Also, in the haunted area is a graveyard. The spirits are the worst here.. You can find it all in the graveyard folks! Vampires, werewolves, zombies, even mummies or your average spirit. Be warned, the werewolves are not little puppies that you can pet, the vampires are hungry.. Well, you get the idea. Luckily, the haunted house is sealed. Living beings can freely walk in and out, if they are pure. However, only the strongest of demons can free themselves from this trap. Keep in mind, friends, the haunted area is not a place for the weak. It's best to just stay away..
Another section of Jekyll de Hyde would be on arena. This place is one of the most simple. The only feature is the gigantic arena which is built like the roman Colosseum. The walls of the mile around arena are lined with weapons of every form. On-top of the walls sit stands where people can sit, watch, and cheer on their favorite warrior.
And finally, the last part of Jekyll de Hyde. The club! No fun place would be complete without a club now would it? It's your typical dance club, honestly. The selection of music is wide, however. All sorts can be found, even the dreaded country genre. ( Details here)

Jekyll de Hyde and Time What time is it? Again, for uniformity and continuity's sake (there's nothing more irritating than someone playing night time and another comes along playing day time), there will be a set time frame for JdH. Or rather time zone. Listen to me, this is the TIME! and the time is:
Central time zone. Meaning when its daytime in Texas, its daytime in Jekyll de Hyde. When its night time in Jekyll de Hyde, its night time in Texas. Don't like it? Deal with it.

Staff
Owner: Midi/Modri (-- +Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde+ -- ) Manager: Kusanagi Kyaroru, aka Mimi (-- anqeiicdemise--) Room Service: (-- -- ) Housekeeping: Cerise Amour (-- Hanakimi -- ) Bartekeep: Christine McLouis, aka Christie * (-- NPC -- ) Waitress: ( -- -- ) Bellboy: Dorian Silver ( -- NPC -- )
Christie: She's sassy, brash, and opinionated monolith of a woman. She stands at an awesome six-foot two and is dressed in a white shirt trimmed in silver and black tied just above her bellybutton. She wears black pants (again, trimmed in silver) that fall short just above the calf and a pair of white flat shoes. Christie is a vivacious brunette with hazel eyes and lips achin' to be kissed. At the stump of her neck, a string of blood-covered pearls hang and her head, that pretty little head, lies on a shelf just behind the counter, right next to a bottle of El Presidente in a silver tray. From there, Christie keeps an eye on the bar/dining area.
Dorian: He kisses a** if it means getting a tip. He's a flirt, and geek... and a lech. (Ladies, keep an eye on your underwear!) What does the one-eyed ghost want with gold *and* women's undergarments its beyond one's rationalle. He's tall, just below six feet-- blonde hair, blue eyes (yes, eyes. His left eye dangles over his cheek, the other is in its place, hence the one-eyed freak) and his vision is perpetually hidden by a pair of broken glasses. His cause of death? Perhaps a blow to the head with a blunt object.

Sleeping Arrangements For simplicity's sake, I'll just jot down the room numbers in use and by whom. Listing all the rooms in order is just... painstakingly difficult. Chek-in Book Room 4: Kusanagi Ryoko Room 5: Kusanagi Kyaroru & Hakan Gorotsuki Room 7: Eliza Sommers Room ?: Cerisce Amour Room 13: Hakan Gorotsuki -- Room is permanently CLOSED. Evil reigns through those closed doors --
