It was strange having skin, and her new mommy was a little bit on the funny side. But it was all good, for today was a good day.
She threw her legs out to the side and sprawled herslef out on an ornate bench. The sign on the door outside was slightly worn, but the decor and candies laced through the shop sent an inviting sweet smell wafting through the streets.
Lollirot had found ways to ease her slippy memory.
Before she'd go out, her new mommy would write (in ink) directions and street addresses to follow on her inner arm, under her warmer.
Today was unusually hot, which made her think of the piratey day with that one boy. With the hair.
What was his name?

Walking down the street once more, Grim was sipping upon another sweet drink. Strawberry Milk and Watermelon. An odd combination, but Grim enjoyed the everlasting flavor of sweet overall. While crossing the street to reach the other side, Grim dropped his drink in the middle of the road. "Drats!" he said as he look down at the odd puddle of pink down at his feet. He ran to the side, but suddenly a dog ran out into the street and began to lick the pink mess up. The light had turned green also, and a car swirved as he tried to miss the dog. Suddenly, the car his a lightpost, distorting the post and crushing the car. "What in the..." said Grim as he looked at the mess he had caused for dropping his drink. "I caused that?" Grim quickly ran, as the sounds of sirens came into order. "Damn, it is the fuzz..." he panicked, running into a random store.

Lollirot, who had awakened from her daze, shot up and saw the last bit of the car plummeting itself to a pole. She cutely laced her fingers in her skirt as she heard the sirens. Living where she did, she heard them a lot, and it has almost become a lullaby.
Propping herself up, she wondered if they would lay out the plastic tape, it had become almost an obsession going from scene to scene collecting the tape.
Putting a painted finger in her mouth, she ran off to the direction of the noise.

Poking his head out of the store, he noticed the rainbow colored hair of another running toward the accident. "That looks...so familiar..." he said as he eyed her. But before he could go outside and check, he noticed he was in a coffee shop. Walking up to the clerk, he smiled a large grin and asked, "Can I get a...Café au lait please?" The clerk just stared at him, wondering why a youth would want coffee. "It is...for my mom!" he added, and she quickly made it together in a quick time and handed it back to him. This time, he actually paid for the drink, since the cops were coming around. Walking out and sipping his cold iced drink, he exited the store and took a seat at the curb.

She drifted around, and some of the policemen shooed her away.
Lolli was disappointed, but decided to come back later. Plus there was a fruity stain on the pavement that looked absolutely delicious.
Gingerly her walk looked more like a childish skip, as she danced right passed Grim, without even noticing him.

Watching the girl skip pass, Grim payed no mind until he saw the abnormal color of rainbow locks. "Rainbow...? Doesn't that seem..." he thought as he sipped his Café au lait once more. Quickly he jolted up from his sitting and called toward the young girl who skipped passed him. "Oi!" he said as he stretched his hand out to try and stop her. He still held his drink in one hand, and came close to dropping it once more.

She twirled around to the caller. "Hmmn..?"
Tugging at an orange lock of hair, she stared at Grim. "Oh.. what do you want?" She cocked her head. "..You look familiar." She gnawed on her lower lip trying to remember Grim.
"Were you on TV?"

"Not really." he said, as he noticed the sudden lapse of memory she seemed to have. It was Lolli all right, she seemed to have turned human just like he guessed. "You really don't remember?" he added as he threw off his Paper Boy hat and his mustard colored strands came flying down onto his face. Suddenly, a police officer approached both Lolli and Grim, eying them boat. "What the hell?" he said as he eyed them both. "What are young children doing to their hairs this year?" He seemed to be questioning himself, for he had dark black hair, not even close to the colors of Lolli or light enough to match Grim's.

"Umm. No-huh?" Lolli was about to answer, but she got caught off guard by the officer. "I don't do anything to my hair." She flipped it, swelling with pride.
"From the looks, Mr. Police-man, you have the odd hair."
"What about you?" She prodded Grim.

Swinging his arms in the air, he somehow was acting stupid to jog her memory, "Remember pirates?" he replied, but then noticed the police man approach. "On the contrary." he said to him, glaring at the officer. "Have you to wonder, if what you eyes seeing are false? Maybe your hair actually differently colored, and you are seeing wrong." He noticed the officer had glasses and slipped them off from the poles of his ears. "Sometimes your eyes cannot judge with this to conceal the truth." he added. The officer just rubbed his eyes in disbelief as he looked from side to side in the blurriness. "What?! Give me back my glasses you punks!" he called as he flailed his arms around to look for his spectacles.

Lollirot giggled at the mans plight. "I remember pirates." She said, narrowing her eyes. "I think we should gooo~"
She skipped off, not wanting to be around when the officer would find his glasses.
"Come on~"

Following after her, he slipped the glasses on and walked. "Hah!" Grim said as he chuckled. "You do remember!" He walked a little lop sided as he followed after her. "Damn, that cop is blind..." he laughed once more as he pulled it off his ears. "So when did you turn human?" he added, looking at Lolli.

She huffed, and than slowed her pace to a light jog. "Uhmm.. " She laughed. "A while ago?" She shrugged. "But I'm here now! And I remember pirates, Grim."
She gleamed her white teeth. Proud of her memory.
"So why'd you take his glasses-eye?"

Grim nodded as he kept up the pacing with her. He felt like a child being dragged by his mother, somehow. He looked at her and lightly tugged at one of her locks like he did before when she was a todoller. "Eh, I don't know." he said as he tugged. "They just seemed interesting. He won't be getting it back though."

She almost stopped dead in her tracks when he started tugging at her hair. It was an uncomfortably comfortable feeling. And she didn't want it ruined by useless physical exertion.
"Oh. Okee-dokee." She smiled. 'Interesting' was argumentatively the best reason to have toward something.
