Talents :: the ability to weld metals fast and able to lift heavy objects with ease (took her years of practice)
What is a normal day like for this character?:: Basically rough, a lot of heavy lifting. After she's done with work she works with the generators for a few hours and then she helps her mother around the house and then helps her with the food, then get's little time to relax
Greatest Fear:: Dying before having true friends

Major Goals::
1. Getting friends
2. Finding somewhere to live other than the house they are living in now as it is currently in bad shape and she wants to live closer to people
3. Geting a less physical job?

Just some quick notes to give you a hand, on basic stuff Kep wrote about the island:

1. They should have no trouble at all getting by, as every islander has generator time and is paid for it.

2. Every islander has some sort of occupation, the council probably wouldn't approve of her mother just working in the house. That's a factor that's come up in other islander applications, too.

3. What's the point of the junkyard? Is there even such a thing on the island?

4. Everyone has a class. Low, Middle, Upper, and so on. Having a class has nothing to do really with if you have friends.

5. I believe most islanders have twins at pebble. Did something happen to that twin?

6. Why is she a little bit of both confident and self-conscious?

7. Where did she get the dye for her hair?

Ok...
- For that height that's really muscular... is that really what you want? Also if that's ok, then she really should be spending a LOT of time in the generators. That should be mentioned in her 'normal day' slot and wherever else is appropriate.

- I'm ok with the hair as having been dyed... but what with the island's current sciences, it wouldn't be very permamanent. She'd have to dye it often.

- Just a question... why does she spend so much effort on making her hair look a certain way, and then always wear a stained and severly ripped up shirt?

- Welder is not a lower class job... it's middle at the VERY least.

- I like the fact that she eats like a horse. She'd have to in order to stay so large.

- All Smi are at least moderately muscular... it's the generators, and the fact that they're all working. So people might not be as afraid of her muscles as you think... in fact quite the opposite, since they would signify that she provided a LOT of generator power and was nice and healthy.

- Her mother working with her - the council only lets Smi take jobs that they're GOOD at. So if her mother can't lift things and can't weld or is generally too weak then she'd be assigned a job somewhere else.... example, teaching, or gardening, or nursing... something less physical and more appropriate to a weak character.

- I don't know what I missed, but where did the 'never have learned how to walk' thing come from? Is it important to her story and I missed it?

- men's work. Ok... on Skull Monkey Island (Besides sex and love) there are no distinctions between men and women socially. There is no such thing as a Man's name, or a woman's job... they're all the same. There is also no 'man of the house' or 'wearing the pants in a family'.

- How does her friends view her.... I know you say she doesn't have any friends... but how do you think she would be seen if she did have them? And in all her years of life has she never had any firends at all? Not even the kid next door? Or her mother's brother's daughter who died at the age of 7? ... someone, somewhere?
