If I stay here any longer, surely they will be able to find me, after all I just slaughtered the only blond haired male in the village and I'm the only one soaked in blood. I was also the closest to him and the only remaining person who has any skill with my hands, I'm surrounded by helpless peasants.

Her hands unnoticeable shivered at her sides as she slowly stood up from the half naked bloody body under her. The flesh around her mouth was torn, a fresh bloody bite mark in the bottom left corner of his lip, torn clean though and still bleeding softly. His eyes were gouged out, his sockets now empty and bloody, clear liquid stained with trails of red dripping down his face, most of what once had been there was now stained in her finger tips and the flesh of her hands. His chest was clawed open, his once white shirt torn and stained in various spots with blood, his ribs clearly showing in scattered spots down his upper body.
Her body on the other hand was naked, her pale flesh covered in blood, mostly around her mouth and hands, skin still dug deeply into her nails. She found her way blindly to her clothes, too cold and shaky to see anything with her amazingly odd skill, and quickly pulled them over her naked body.

She found her way just as blindly back to the home which had been raided earlier that day, and pushed her way past the crude home appliances and into her room, where she tripped over her bed slightly, forcing her to crawl to the other side of the room where she kept what she came here for in the first place.

"Whatever God there may be out there. I have sinned, and must repent myself." She slowly slid the newly shaved blade, shorter and now perfect to her sight, which relied solely on the vibrations and pressures she felt through the ground on her feet, back into its sheath which was the skin of a ray pulled tight around a light metal handle which the blade had been placed deeply into. Wrapped around the skin was a thin and flexible metal, metal was perfect for her since metal vibrated so perfectly when forged right.
With that curse and goal, she left, having killed the man she loved, and having lost the only people who truly cared about her and ignored her god given curse, the missing eye and the blind one.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That was two years ago, and now she walked slowly into a new village, the ground once again made of cold hard clay packed down for the rising of building, crude building made of bricks of mud hardened in the sun. She wore a compromised outfit, one of a short blue skirt and a button up white shirt that held tight to her breasts, breasts that would get in her way if it wasn't for the choking wrap she kept pressed around them under her clothes.
Wrapped tight around her right arm was the same kind of wrap, slightly thicker and rougher than actual bandage and just flexible enough to not render her fighting skills useless, the purpose of it was to protect her right arm during a fight, she could lose her left one and be fine, it was her right one she needed.
Her shoulder length pale brown hair rested calmly against her head, moving gently with every breeze, and even pushing in front of her face a few times, an action that would render any one else's eyesight worthless. She never even blinked.
She walked perfectly though, and besides the black eye patch covering her right eye no one would have guessed without looking close enough to find the missing pupil in the other eye, that she couldn't see.
She walked bare foot, the same wrap covering her arm on both her legs, they too were needed to keep herself alive. The wrap disappeared under her knee length skirt and stopped just above her knee caps.
She walked slowly through the town, her katana and its dyed blue ray skin sheath resting at her hip, tied around her waist with a crude but tough string. It rested happily on her right hip, moving with every step and following her every movement. It even seemed to breath with her.
Hiron Buke quickly knocked the incoming blade away with the gauntlet on his left arm and brought his large blade across the man's broad chest, splitting him in two and watching as the man gasps then falls over, his blood splattering across the light green meadow. He quickly turned to strike the next enemy and was forced to use his blade as a shield, He then swung and took down the last of the close ranged warriors and ran after the archer sitting near the trees. He knew that he could easily kill these and was glad no mages were around to cause him any problems. He was deftly afraid of mages and was glad that Miltiades had very few to begin with. Cutting the archer down he smiles and snaps his bow in two. Hiron looked around and lifted his scarf over his mouth then began to walk north, knowing most would die with this two week hike through the desert, but he had been training in the desert all his life. As he walked he would strip to nearly nothing during the day and wear as much clothing he had at night.
She actually liked this town, it was close to the desert everyone spoke evil of, and because of it hardly anyone ever came in or even near. It was a quiet place filled of only the poor bastards who had been born here, or sent here on exile.
It was quiet, and empty, and even quieter and she adored that, gave her senses a time to relax. A time she desperately needed after all that traveling time in the unbearable heat around the unbearable people who all stunk of rotting flesh which burned the tiny hairs inside her nose and left her coughing and grieving in pain every night. Humans were unbearable blind, ignorant, idiot creatures that turned her stomach whenever she was faced with one.
But now, she liked this quiet old village, and quickly found not only an inn, but an empty field to practice in every day, from sun up to sun down, for the next few weeks or so.
He arrived in the town later at night and shook the sand from his white hair, before dressing so he would be presentable inside the town. As Hiron walks he gets disgusted looks from the villagers as they all know where he is from. He looked around and moved into the inn, where he was denied a room because of his birthplace. He was no longer within Miltiades but in the nation to the north of it, Erishkagal. Hiron then walked over to a good sized field and lied down, falling asleep.
She stirs in bed, the voices behind her shut eyes screaming at her and begging her for mercy, and blood. Her pale hands pull on the covers, an escaped suppressed whimper forced from her lips shocking her into life once again, the full moon light beating down warmly against her body.
She shivered as the night air struck her naked body when she stepped from the covers of the bed, and quickly snaked her way into her clothes, ignoring the wraps for now since she felt she clearly didn't need them at night.
She tied her sword around her waist once again, the string finally newly bought from a tiny shop here in town, and made her way outside of her room towards the lobby.
She stopped in her everyday fighting field, letting the new sensation of the cool air soak into her body before stepping into the clearly and lowering her stance to ready her blade, when she stopped.
Someone was there, possible asleep, but either way silent, still, and clearly unaware of her.
She shifted her right foot, bare, across the cool hard packed clay ground a little, until she faced the mass of flesh that left the unfamiliar, slightly moving, impression on her mental image of the landscape.
She had no way of telling if it was male or female, human or animal, but either way it had a gentle rhythm to its breathing, and the soft thump of its heartbeat which should could now feel.
She stood, silently, waiting for the creature to do something other than lie there in her clearing and breathing...
He slowly sat up and shook his head, the headache along with it "Damn, that is not the best place to be resting ... it hurts too much" He stood up and drew his blade, swinging it about as if it were nothing more than a light stick
She felt him sit, watched him mentally in her mind behind her sightless eyes, and quickly stepped back as the air from his swing pushed against her body, her own right hand now locked on the handle of her own sword, his voice was male, and this alone sent pain and pure loath rush through her blood and down her spine, forcing her to nearly scream at him a sentence that came out slow and far calmer than she had intended.
"Who the hell are you?"
Her voice bit back, and stung hard, her words cold and spoken perfectly, as if speaking down upon people not worth her time was what she did for a living. Yet at the same time her voice was soft, and beautiful, after all she had no idea what she herself looked out and projected every bit of her self-image into her voice, and she knew she was gorgeous, she could tell just from the times she ran her hands interestingly across her naked body.
Hiron turned, surprised that a local was talking to him .. then realizing it wasnt a local at all he shook his head "Just a traveler that has no need of a name" He went back to practicing with his sword and guantlet
She growled to herself as all her mental focused on him and his words, which were just as sharp and unmovable as her own, only male.
"Then what do you do here? Why?"
She left her hand locked to her sword, following him both with her feet and her body but moving nothing and leaving the wide gap between their bodies.
"Can't you tell what I am doing here?" He didnt bother to stop practicing this time and closed his eyes as he felt the wind around the blade parting, a practice he had gotten used to because he would have to close his eyes if there was a sandstorm he couldnt out run
She grinned slightly to herself at his question, it was proof he had no idea she was blind. She responded calmly, yet her voice held cold and cruel.
"I can tell your moving around funny with your feet and swinging about something that feels sharp, since it cuts the wind and feels funny on my flesh."
"What? You blind or something?" He laughed as he continued to practice with his eyes shut
She grinned slightly at his sharp comment, and nodded slightly as she spoke.
"Actually I am, and because of it I can tell your stances are awkward and the pressure you put on each foot are off and unsettling, in some of them you could be easily tripped. Stop trying to fly, the ground is only going to harm you if you don't trust it."
His static movements were almost annoying, but she oddly enjoyed standing there and 'talking' with him, even if she sounded cold hearted and rude.
He laughs and stops moving all together except to put his blade on his back "You must not know where I am from then ... because where I trained the ground was a worse enemy than the people that attacked you"
She felt him put his blade back, his thick stick-figure like appearance clear in her mind, the only thing she couldn't see was the color of his skin, his clothes, his general appearance, hair, or his crotch size. Other than that she could see clearly the display of his muscles and strength and even guess his height based on the pressures she felt due to his feet.
He wasn't lying either about the ground, which surprised her.. ..she had only been told of one place like that, and it was legend that no one ever survived, but here he was not lying about.
"Where are you from?"
Her voice was soft now, clearly curious, she wasn't scared or anything, simply amused.
