Yeah...See I like anime,a lot! But most of the animes that I see are for girls. -_-. So I was wondering if anyone knew some animes that are cool for guys to watch. Please nothing DBZ related(not allowed to watch them.) Im new to the whole anime thing but I find it very interesting. So If anyone had some suggestions I'd really appriciate it!

I've mostly outgrown anime, but when I was into it, I really liked Ranma 1/2 and Slayers. Both of them are comedies, and I wouldn't say they're super manly, but they're not really girl either. Ranma has nudity though, so I don't know how much you'd be able to watch. Slayers should be okay though.
Some other good ones might be Cowboy Bebop and Lupin III. Lupin III was actually quite popular in Japan itself, even among the general population (unlike a lot of other anime). I haven't seen a whole lot of it but I always thought it was pretty funny and enjoyable.

You might want to take a look at Full Metal Alchemist, I wouldn't say it's 'girly.' It's a little bloody in a few parts though.

ok what kind of anime? i'll give u some:
action: basilisk, hellsing, trinit blood.....
love: saikano, love hina, air,......
funny: fulmetal panic, school rumble, jungle wa itsumo hale nochi guu...
mistery: higurashi no naku koro ni
blood: elfen lied, dokuro-chan (its pretty funny xD)
uhm also try watching death note and ergo proxy

Samurai Champloo the hottest hip-hop and R&B anime ever! Akira was a great movie if you havent seen it. Basilisk like one person said. Naruto is a no I mean a lot of boys watch it but its just so common I hate it but love being a shinobi. Big O. Try to stay away from the ones best known in America because I hate when American girls come up to me and ask me have you seen this and that and I say yeah so I look at ones that are only exclusive in Japan. Black cat is good, hunterXhunter is also great!

Naruto, Full Metal Panic, Fullmetal panic Fumoffu, Death Note, Love Hina, Princess Tutu (xD It's about ballet but not really. That's not that main part)

I recommend that you watch Urusei Yatsura. It's a pretty interesting show.

well it depends which one u want. there is one called ghost in the shell that is about detectives well robot futuristic related. oh maybe cowboy beepop? also detective like. there is also yu yu hakusho where is about a spirit detective kid. omg i am giving detective anime! XD hum...there is fulmetal alchemist. very interesting anime i should say. maybe also...uh bleach? thats a good anime but very long. umm...elfen lied is good but lots of blood and violence and some naked girls here and there. Death note is pretty good anime. u'll find it interesting after the first 2 episodes. code geass is great! I am watching it and cant stop yet. um there is black cat also which is good. samurai champloo, i find that one a bit funny. Inuyasha maybe? If u like demons and a bit of drama. Maybe also Blood+. Songs and story line are great that keep u glued to it. and uhh thats all i can think of..XD

Well the anime I've watched are Yu Yu Hakusho, Fullmetal, Inuyasha,Hellsing,Master of Mosquiton,Bo-Bo-Bo-Bo(i only watched because of my cousin xd ), and that's mostly it.

I would normally recommend Utena, but seeing as that falls into the "Shoujo" category, I guess I would have to recommend the Tenchi Muyo series...
