Personality: Samuel is very introverted and quiet on a normal day, but is always ready to give a comforting smile or pat on the back. Frankly, Samuel is the common Southern gentleman, if not a bit more intelligent and personal.
Physical description: Approximately six-foot-two with creamy mulatto skin, freckled about the shoulders and back. His eyes are a soft green and his hair and goatee jet black. He is well-built with vestigial wings, a long tail, and a pair of nubby horns atop his head. His ears are long and pointed, and his hair is usually styled into an organized mass.

Past: Samuel was brought up with the notion that he had no father and was simply a gift from God. His mother was an affluent (if not a bit eccentric) Voodoo Mambo of Haitian origin who brought up her New England family deeply involved in their religion. Come teenhood, Samuel realized that he simply had to have a father, and so went in search of him. In almost no time he found a father in a man named Jean-Gabriel Gautier, owner of a club in New Orleans and, unsurprisingly, a Voodoo Houngan. He took up residence with this man and learned from him the brighter and darker sides of their religion in a mansion with numerous servants and Voodoo Zombies for companionship. When adulthood came, Samuel was told of another world accessible by a portal in the bayou behind the mansion, and he explored to only find Midori. Since then he has lived in the business district of the land, running a small shop from his home.

Personality: Mint is extremely friendly and motherly,

time sleeping and eating, like an enormous round-eared cat.

  Outside
The house fits in in Midori's business district, although if it weren't for the small advertising signs, one may think it entirely residential. It is one-story with a one-car garage and a high brick fence in the back that hints at acres and acres of semi-forested back yard. That is in fact, the truth. All companions live in the back within the trees and fields and small ponds of nearly 6 acres. To the right of the house itself is a set of swings, put there from the demand caused by children running into his shop and ruining things. There is also a photo booth, just something cool that Samuel once bought at a thrift store. It is entirely functional, but a bit worn.
Inside
The Shop
This is the first room you enter and one of two open to the public. It is lined with shelves, display cases, and book cases full of herbal remedies, potions, spells, fetishes, and shiny baubles. The rug at the entryway is a quite old Indian rug.
The Public Bathroom
The only other room open to the public is the smaller bathroom. It consists of only a toilet and a sink. After all, what else should one expect?
The Living Room
This is a fairly simple room with a large couch, side table, television, and book case. It is also the only room in the house with a telephone, hanging on the wall beside the window. Pollux sleeps here on the fold-out couch, his bedding sitting in a rack beneath.
The Kitchen
The largest room in the house is the kitchen. It has counter tops, a deep sink, and an old stove. The only modern thing is the shiny new fridge.
The Master Bedroom
This is Samuel's room with a king-sized bed against one wall with a dresser for clothing and a smaller one in which he keeps his various religious items. The rug in this room is the only relic from his father's mansion.
The Private Bathroom
This bathroom is quite the same as the other, but a great deal less public; as in not at all. It has a sink and toilet, but also a mirror and bath-tub-slash-shower-stall.
