I've had mix reviews about New Moon, and I got alittle bored in Twilight. Should I get New Moon anyways?

It depends. If you don't mind a whiny Bella, you meet some interesting new characters in New Moon. But if you didn't care for Twilight, you probably won't like the other two.
I liked the series a lot, even though I personally didn't feel it was well written.

Interesting. These are the first two comments I've seen about the Twilight series that weren't all gushing.

I agree with celesi ... it all depends if you feel like you should get it. Personally, I love the series. In fact, my mother bought me the first 3 books today so I could reread them over and over whenever I liked. But yeah, if you don't mind angsty/whiny teenagers, then go for it. I only liked it because there was a lot more Jacob.

Borrow it if you can, since you're not sure. Especially if you're like me and hate not finishing a series. xD
I borrowed Twilight and New Moon. My copy of Esclipse was a gift. xD
New Moon (and Eclipse too) are alright, but don't expect any more character development. And as said, you may get very very annoyed with Bella. 3nodding

New Moon was my favorite, but Bella is pretty whiny in it. I really dont like Eclipse though, Edward is like a total abusive boyfriend And i only liked Breaking Dawn the second time i read it, the first time i hated it.

I actually liked New Moon better than Twilight itself. I would definitely get the second book if you liked the first although you might want to see if you can get it from the library first. I didn't think that they were the best books ever written and honestly they weren't even written well enough to deserve the fandom that they have. To their credit they are an easy read and has a pretty good series.

In my opinion, New Moon was a bit boring. There's not a lot of Edward, but plenty of Jacob/Bella action. They don't even say his name for the majority of the book. It didn't get interesting until like, chapter 19. Now, my friend can't stop re-reading it because it's "sweet and cute", which I have to agree it is. But you'll only like it if you like that kind of cute, cheesy stuff.
Eclipse is the bomb though, definitely get that one. Breaking Dawn did kinda suck...there was no action at all...and too many big things happened in one sitting...I found myself just reading it to finally finish it, not because I wanted to see what happened.
But Twilight and Eclipse were my favorites. Then Breaking Dawn, then New Moon. But it depends if you want to read it or not.
