I see what you mean, but I've had that hairstyle since I began my life on Gaia. It just seems odd without.
Your cosplay: 8/10.. I like it! It has your own style and has a good length of accuracy, but a lot of the colors don't match.

I don't really like the Girl's Silken hair for a TP Zelda cosplay. = /
Assuming that this is TP Zelda.
Neither do I like the Milady Surcoat either.
Otherwise, it's alright.
