A warm breeze rustled the leaves that dotted the boughs above causing the tree to become victim and sway slightly while a sea of lush, green grass ungulated with the motion of the wind. Even the surface of the watering hole seemed to ripple, stirring up small wakes as it distorted the reflection of the creamy, yellow male. Restless paws once again had led him to his favorite spot as his body was sprawled ontop of a rock within the cool shade while his own pools of purest cerulean seemed to stare down into the waters and muse softly with a smile. How long had it been since he had seen Tui and Ayato? It was strange and certainly there was a panged feeling that solaced a cry within his heart. And what about the rest of his family?

It was common knowledge that their mother, Tai, had found love with another male which had resulted in cubs- more siblings or, well- half siblings was it? He didn't know but either way he felt out of the loop! It was a horrible feeling; knowing that there were so many faces that he had no idea who they were or even what their names were. Come to think of it he was certain that he wouldn't even be able to recognize them!

This was not good at all!

The young adult sighed from out of his nostrils, ears flicking as he shifted his weight lazily and crossed his paws as his head gently lowered between them. His tail swayed in a non-chalant manner as Kweu pursed his lips as his mind seemed to drift off elsewhere and away from the subject of his rather unknown and mysterious family.

"I wonder," he mused as he stretched a paw outwards and down to skim over the top of the water, "if perhaps there will come a day where I can finally introduce mom to her." Kweu chuckled to himself softly, eyes captivated by the waters reflection of the pure, blue skies above with sparse cirrus clouds. With the recent events and everyday ritual of being with the 'goddess', Kweu was hoping that, in good time, he could finally take her to meet her mother and even his family and, perhaps, he'd actually get the time to meet them! Even at the mere thought of her his heart seemed to commence a fluttering sensation which made him grin. Although things of lately had been quite lonely, there were still many blessings to be accounted for and one of those certainly had to be Isabis.

Once again his mind seemed to flutter elsewhere- thoughts and random ideas masking the thoughs of family, the 'goddess' and most everything else as he rose upwards to his paws and leapt down from off of the rockface. Kweu gave a great yawn as his front paws slinked forward, his body stretching as he shook his head.

Hmmm.

What was there to do today?

Casually taking a step or two closer to the edge of the watering hole, the young adult slumped upon his haunches and glanced around. It seemed rather quite in this part of the Pridelands strangely but as the sun had only risen a few hours ago perhaps such a thing was to be expected, wasn't it? Why he always seemed to rise before the sun even he simply couldn't explain; it seemed as if his body was programed to arise early before the dawning of pure light and retire to bed hours after the reign of the moon took control of the night sky.

Knitting his brows slightly as his head lowered to the glassy surface of the water, Kweu'Chaka drank slowly as the waters were enough to start him off on an unknown journey to a destination anywhere. Suffice with a drink, the lion rose his head upwards slowly as water dribbled down his chin. With a last look around, a smile seemed to curl upon his maw as he pivoted around and began his casual stroll.

Deep inside of him there was a sliver of hope that prayed that he would be graced with some excitement. Could this morning lead him to a new adventure?

He hoped so!

The watering hole. A rather refreshing place, and a place that the female liked to visit daily. Sure, there were other places where she could get a drink - but the Pride's watering hole was definitely her favourite spot. Of course, she always travelled there alone. Since that day as an impressionable cub, where the promise had been broken and her faith in the world crushed, the adolescent hadn't enjoyed socializing with the Pride at all. It was lucky if her mother got a glimpse of her once in a while.

Padding slowly towards the clear, glistening water, the lionness lowered her head to the water, taking a large gulp, enjoying the feeling of the refreshing liquid flowing down her throat. Thoughts floated back to that of her mother, and her siblings. Her siblings all seemed happy enough - or at least those she knew of. Tai had told her that she had other siblings, other than those from the same litter as her. But that had been it - no names mentioned. Of course, they had to be members of the Pridelands, but it was a big pride. And when she purposely avoided other pride members, it made it even harder.

She didn't notice the other lion approaching - otherwise she would've quickly turned and fled, and come back later to finish her drink. She was becoming a solitary creature, which was something a lion shouldn't be - lions were social creatures usually, forming prides such as the one she was currently a member of. Although being thrown out wasn't that bad a concept. Her mother certainly wouldn't approve of it, but being alone suited Azriell'Kyupe. It was just...better.

Another gentle, whisping breeze ruffled his mane as the young adult wandered back towards the rocks that toppled over each other and stood above te watering hole. His creamy, yellow pelt seemed to blend in ever so slightly, though with a certain distinction up close, with the tall, dried grass- his body padding carefully, deafly, as he was walking around in a circle.

An indecisive mind was making it hard to leave and an uncertain decision on exactly what he was going to do seemed to cause him to stall. There was a part of him that wanted to go find his mother while the other half of him wanted so desperately to set out and try to once again meet up with the 'goddess'. But it seemed that guilt on either sides created a stand-still and all Kweu could do was purse his lips while his brows knitted together with a slight concern.

While his mind seemed a bit conflicted and unclear, his paws ambled onwards- eyes drawn to the ground as his tail flicked somewhat hesitantly behind him. Did this have to be so hard? Of course not! But it seemed that there were so many ideas, so many thoughts that pulled in two distinctive ways that it made it impossible to choose one side over the other.

Kweu'Chaka loved his famiy dearly with a devoted nature. Although there were many faces he would be uanble to recognize and names he did not know never did hold him back from having a deep affection and constant desire to help, please and assist his family in any way he could. It seemed so naturally instilled in him by his mother, Tai, and even still he wanted to be like her but keep his sense of adventure, mischief and curiosity. But the young adult was begining to realize that it was a bit hard to stay wreckless and be a thrill seeker when you're brothers didn't hang around with you; Ayato and Tui had gone their separate ways and- well, Kweu'Chaka was still here- he felt suspended in a with waiting for when it would be his turn to be able to break loose and find what he was looking for.

Well, whatever that was! There was so many things- certainly it would take quite a long time before he could find all of his answers, right?

A deep exhaled breath emitted from out of his nostrils as his ears flickered. Kweu'Chaka continued wandering around the watering hole as his mind seemed settled on the decision to return back to his rock to lay there for whenever he would finally make up his mind on where to go or what to do. Besides, who would want stand around on their paws for who knows how long when one could simply lie around?

With eyes that were still downtrodden upon the ground, the young adult continued back to his rock. For a moment he could have sworn that there was a familiar scent wafting within the air and the passing breeze but he shook his head. No- it must have been his own scent teasing his mind or playing tricks on him, right? It seemed impossible that anyone else could be-

His mind and body jolted as he ran into something with his head- something furry no doubt and smaller than he, or well at least that was his assumption. He cringed slightly, not wanting to get on anyones bad side this morning and very much unaware of what or who he had run into the male stumbled back slightly and to the left as his eyes clenched shut, mouth drawing up in a slight wince.

"Oh-Oh sorry 'bout that! I didn' mean it, honest!" He spoke quickly, his front and back left paws teetering within an inch away of the edge of the watering hole. His eyes managed to flicker upwards, glancing momentarily before giving a nervous laughter.

"Sorry 'bout that..I'll- just be going," taking a side step with a complete oblivious realization of where his paws were as his nervous nature seemed to be getting the better of him, Kweu took a side step to the left. The split moment realization of his mistake and the lack of solid ground made him fall almost in a belly flop style and grace into the water. As what looked like a cloud of creamy, yellow mane and fur whisped about under the water, Kweu'Chaka broke from out of the surface with a gasp.

Paddling blindly with paws splashing about in the water, the lion threw his paws out towards the edge and clawed at the ground, holding tightly to the rim. His mane was flat, hanging down in front of his face as he breathed from out of his mouth rather than his nose. He shook his head, trying to free his mouth and nose from the hair of his mane as he tried to claw his way out.

This was not a good start.

Finishing her drink, Azi looked up, gazing at her reflection in the water, cocking her head to the left with slight curiosity. She'd certainly grown up from the small, rowdy cub she'd once been. Bowing her head again, nose within an inch of touching the water and the reflection, Azriell was caught by surprise as something crashed into her side, the female gasping slightly for breath as she stumbled to the side, managing to stay on her feet, though no emotions came - she was completely dazed.

What had just happened? Blinking small stars from her eyes, the shock caused her breaths to quicken a little in an attempt to inhale more oxygen, the adolescent finally glancing over towards what had knocked her, a small flash of her sharp, pointed teeth revealing the hostility currently felt by the female. Apologies tumbled from the adult's mouth, Azriell'Kyupe already knowing it would be unwise to start a fight. She was small for her age as it was, and since she wasn't fully grown yet, she'd stand no chance against the adult. But something seemed...familiar about him. His scent, his markings, t all seemed familiar somehow.

"Watch where you're going!" came the rather snappy reply, Azriell not having been in a particularly good mood to start with, let alone now she'd been knocked over. The beginnings of a growl began to rise in the lionness' throat, before plop, and Kweu was in the water.

Normally, she would've laughed. Hard. And right now, she really, really wanted to. The old Azi just wanted to break free of the depression and anger bottled up, and laugh as loud and for as long as she could. But no - her current poor mood prevented that, a scowl simply forming instead as she watched the yellow lion flounder in the water with a dull glare. Leaving a member of her pride to drown probably wasn't the smartest thing, but she really didn't want to get wet. Or get involved. And so, her scowl deepened as she cautiously stepped forwards, wrinkling her nose in mild disgust as she opened her maw, fastening her teeth around a chunk of the lion's mane and beginning to pull, trying to help him out of the water. She was pulling fairly hard, so wouldn't have been surprised if he'd yowled in pain, though expected an adult such as himself to behave in a much more mature manner. The scowl was still there, however.

Why did it have to be her?

Kweu coughed, trying to get the water which he swallowed and didn't quite agree with his lungs- exhaling sharply through his nostrils as he shook his head. With his claws already embedded rather deeply within the ground, the pale, creamy lion began to slowly drag himself out- or at least that was before he felt a maw fasten itself around a chunk of his mane and begin to focefully drag him out. Though rather than yelping or hollaring, Kweu'Chaka managed to wince slightly and clench his jaws but didn't make a scene. As his body was dragged from out of the watering hole, the young adult laid there for several moments, catching his breath as the water that saturated and soaked his fur began to pool around him upon the ground.

Coughing once again as he sniffled, Kweu staggered up to his paws. "Thanks- I...probably would have been there for a while," he commented with a hesitant laugh, still rather embarrased at his lack of grace.

His fur seemed to hang down from his body, still dripping wet as his mane was plastered against his head and his body. It wasn't as bad as one would think, really. Although being wet wasn't quite comfortable the heat of the African sun did wonders in helping aid in evaporating the water. Backing away a few steps and turning slightly, Kweu shook out his fur as best he could to rid of the excess water. He could only imagine that he looked quite silly or strange but certainly he didn't want to stay sopping wet for long.

"Sorry," he quickly called out, a light smile crossing his maw. "I just- just didn't feel right standing there all wet. I didn't mean to turn my back on you." Quickly padding up to the lioness but keeping a comfortable distance between them, Kweu'Chaka tilted his head slightly.

Somehow he couldn't help but find her to be very, very familiar. Yet again that familiar scent seemed to linger within the air causing his brows to knit slightly. Had he seen her before? Or perhaps he had run into her or seen her when he was little? It was a possibility since tai was one of the storytellers cubs from every lioness seemed to flock and gather to listen to one of her amazing tales. But so far he just couldn't put a paw on it! Kweu simply stood there, eyes searching as he pursed his lips.

"My name is Kweu'Chaka. Again I thank you for rescuing me from my own downfall," he couldn't help but chuckle once again, a broader smile gracing his maw. "I- I don't mean to be rude but you seem familiar- I just...well, I just can't put a paw on how I would think I know you to be honest!" Sitting back on his haunches a bit more comfortabley, the young adult curled his tail around his body.

"May I have your name, Miss?"

Azi was still scowling - it was quite rare to see her with anything else these days, other than a scowl or a completely expressionless maw. His fur was horrible - it tickled the back of her throat, wanting her to gag, but of course she couldn't because she had a mouthful of mane. Eventually, however, he managed to drag himself out, Azriell'Kyupe spitting the mane out as soon as she could, gagging a little at the sensation that had been left behind. Ugh.

Wrinkling her nose a little and attempting to shake her head dry of the water that had crept onto it, growling softly as he thanked her. She would've much preferred if he hadn't tried to drown himself in the first place. Sensing what was coming, she scooting rather hurriedly back, claws scraping against the rock that surrounded the water as Kweu began to shake himself dry, Azi managing to keep herself from getting any damper. Because that just wouldn't do. And then he apologized again - he only needed to say sorry once, for Pete's sake.

She could still sense something familiar, but this was increasingly being pushed to the back of her mind. Right now, she just wanted to get out of here, and escape this place. Go hide somewhere where no-one would find her. But this stupid lion was in her way, damnit.

Kweu'Chaka? Bit of a weird name, but then hers was too in many's opinion. And more thanks - couldn't he just let her leave? She was about to turn and just walk off, despite how rude it would've been, but she was stopped with a slight glare as he mentioned the familiarity - surely that couldn't be a co-incidence? Padding a little closer, though still keeping her distance, Azriell curled her tail around a hind leg, remaining standing even as he sat. Her name? How was that going to help? She was almost certain that she'd never met him before, because she'd hardly met anyone. And someone with as bright a fur colour as Kweu had she'd certainly remember.

"...Azriell'Kyupe."

She didn't speak anything else - she was still keeping the anti-social front.

Purest of pure, blue, orbs seemed to study her. Although the lioness before her was certainly not in a favorable mood as she continued to scowl with a smile that one could swear hid daggers or menacing fangs behind, Kweu was still intrigued. The young, creamy hued adult seemed to wrinkle his muzzle slightly as he canted his head in a minor angle, the cogs of his mind hurriedly turning, turning and turning. He wasn't sure why some signal of familiarity was ringing through his conscious mind but it was something that continued to solace and catch his attention- which was already impossible to ignore.

He felt horrible and even a littl embarrased for staring at her but slowly something was begining to click- or at least he thought it was.

Kweu chuckled softly, giving a slight shrug of his shoulders. Deep down even to him at times it seemed a strange name but on account that he was named after his biological father as his mother claimed that he was an identical representation of him, Kweu'Chaka found it both saddening and a bit honorable. It was certainly sad that he would never meet his father but, at the same time, he felt as if he was named in the sake of something good- or well he hoped so! Why would his mother Tai name him in spite of the male which she was with?

Okay- so that wasn't a good question to ask and instantly he tried to shake his head and put his focus back to where it belonged. Thus, Kweu took a deep breath and tired to relax- body seemed to loosen from the anxiety that seemed to have stirred up within his soul with all of those silly thoughts. Though his ears seemed to perk upwards and attention renewed as she answered. Ah- but although the name didn't quite ring a bell, Kweu was certain they were getting somewhere!

The young adult lowered his head. "A pleasure Azriell'Kyupe," he replied sweetly, pulling his head upwards as he shifted the weight from each forepaw and settled himself again upon his haunches.

It was certainly clear that, like himself, she was part of the Pride. So if they were apart of the same pride wasn't there a chance that they had to have seen or met each other- just a glance would have triggered this unknown sensation of familiarity, right? Kweu's brows knitted slightly as his tail swayed behind him in a non-chalant manner. Yes- okay, well perhaps the best way was to just skim about her childhood? Something basic- gatherings which every cub would be around or events or even playdates or something-

AHA!

He got it!

"I don't mean to pry but- did you ever come around to listen to the storyteller? Maybe that's where I recognize or know you from. I know- It may sound crazy but...I just feel like I recognize you from somehwhere and I know if I don't figure it out it will just be on my mind the whole day!" Kweu'Chaka managed to chuckle softly although a bit hesistantly, trying to stay cheery without wanting to further push the lioness around or make her feel a bit out of comfort. But even so Kweu felt as if he wasn't doing a very good job.

"Even if you were there once I would have seen you- my mother is one of the storytellers and has been once since I was a cub," he added. "Maybe her name is familiar? My mother's name is Tai."
PostPosted: Fri Mar 14, 2008 12:24 pm

He was staring at her. It was worrying. Why was he staring at her like...like he knew her. It wasn't very pleasant. Azriell began to find herself shuffling around a little on her feet, both embarrassed and discomforted, feeling awkward. Finally deciding he should stop, she flashed her teeth with a growl, though he chuckled at just about this moment. Stopping her fidgeting and standing still, tail flashing about to partially release her building anger and frustration as Azi watched Kweu carefully, eyes narrowing slightly. Finally he spoke, to call it 'a pleasure'. It might've been to him, but to Azi this was just a nuisance. Why couldn't he leave her alone? That was all she wanted, after all.

He sat himself down, but Azriell'Kyupe remained standing, not wanting to rest. She wanted to be away from here as fast as she could. She paused, however, at his next question - about the storyteller of the pride. Tai, her mother? He chuckled at his own lame joke, Azi's eyes narrowing even more, the female half turned as if she was about to leave, though her curiosity refused to let her. What did he have to do with her mother?

Woa, wait, his mother? Tai was her mother. And the rest of her litter's. She knew that her mother had had children before her, and more recently, but surely this idiot couldn't be one of them? Turning to properly face Kweu now, Azi's eyes narrowed to what was pretty much a glare, letting him know that if he was lying, she wasn't going to let this one go.

"Tai's my mother." the adolescent claimed almost possessively, taking a step forwards, though still keeping a good distance between herself and Kweu.

Even a growl or baring of fangs didn't seem to cause the young adult to stiffen or jostle! Kweu'Chaka sat there, his tail curling around his body as his head canted slightly to the side and that same, ever present smile stretching across his maw. His cerulean orbs still lured towards her while the cogs of his mind turned- noting a strange color mix but, well who was he to say anything? Kweu himself was a very bright, creamy yellow! At the thought he chuckled softly with a small shake of his head. But his attention was capture as he watched her facial expressions. Azriell was certianly thinking about something- what she was actually contemplating escaped him, really and somewhat feeling slightly uncertain for a moment the young adult shifted his weight onto his haunches, repositioning himself as he sat down.

The turn of her body towards him seemed to cause him to pull his head back slightly, body trying to scoot backwards as she glared at him. But- what? This didn't make sense! Why was she so angry? He bit his lip as his ears flicked backwards.

She spoke and, it was at that moment that poor Kweu nearly choked.

"Wh-what!" The young adult exclaimed, eyes widening as he stumbled onto his paws and taking a step backwards. What was there to say? And even her expression was clearly drawn that she thought he was lying or perhaps it was more along the lines that she didn't believe him? Oh no. But she had said that Tai was her mother. Well that was silly, wasn't it? She was the mother of Ayato, Tui and Kweu'Chaka- Azriell'Kyupe certianly didn't fit in! Kweu arched a brow upwards, questioning as he stood there. "That's impossible!" He shook his head, chuckling. "I'm pretty sure that Tai is my mother, the same mother to my brothers Tui and Ayato and any stray cub she stumbles upon."

It was known that Tai seemed to raise and take in any abandoned cubs often- his mother had quite a large heart, perhaps too big even for her chest at times. She was an individual that seemed to stand apart from others as her kindness always seemed to create other wakes and great changes for others as its impact seemed to have such a positive and lasting effect on others. Though since he wandered often and the Pridelands themselves were rather spacious, Kweu certainly had been left out of the loop. It was something he didn't like and a certain loneliness that panged him yet one that he didn't speak of.

Was there a possiblity that they could be related? Kweu wasn't quite sure and part of him even doubted it. He pursed his lips- staring, staring and staring until-

Oh no.

Oh no. No, no, no, no! Like a heavy brick, the recollections of his mother and an unfamiliar male slammed into his mind so vividly. Yes- he remembered! He was with Ayato! Both he and his brother were sneaking about and had somehow stumbled upon their mother and some unknown stranger- a stranger that was a very brown and...

"OH GOODNESS!"

Kweu exclaimed, nearly stumbling backwards as his eyes narrowed towards her with wide pupils and a jaw hanging ajar.

"You-You..YOU!" He was trying to spit out his words but it was failing miserabley- attempting to stumble back onto his paws while he was near in shock. "Matifu- Matifu is you...you're father? I knew it!" If only Tui or Ayato was here to help him! He needed someone but it seemed as if a mix of emotions were overtaking him. It was quite a surprise to find that he had more siblings within the Prideland but wouldn't one think that someone would try to pass on the message? But apparently that was easier said then done.

Kweu tried to gather his composure; standing up as he tried to stop his front paws from shaking. He was happy, very happy, really. It seemed exciting to know that their family was quite larger now and slowly becoming rather extensive. With the pieces of the puzzle now found, the young adult was slowly putting them in place. "Matifu is your father and Tai is your mother, correct?" He questioned, pursing his lips slightly. "So that would make us family none the less- wow. How many siblings do you have?"

Even Kweu was sure he was going a bit fast for her but all of this information was simply too overwhelming. Truly he was trying to make the best of it even if he was a little sad but certianly that part of him was well masked with joy.

Times were changing, weren't they?
PostPosted: Mon Mar 17, 2008 1:31 pm

Well, at least he seemed surprised too. And it wasn't a sick little joke he was playing. What did this mean? Kweu was clearly much older than her, and her mother hadn't told her anything about older siblings who she'd had before. She'd heard her siblings talk about having twins and other brothers and sister, but that had all been play as far as she knew. This was all much too odd. Unless, of course, he was Ayato's brother. The lion was much older of course, and she was sure he wasn't an only child. Could Kweu be a real brother of hers?

Or maybe he was lying, and this was all a joke of Nyeupe's. To get a random passing lion and get him to jump her and do something stupid in a meager attempt to cheer her up. Impossible? Of course it was impossible! He was just lying, the idiot.

"Of course it's impossible. Tai's my mother, alongside all my brothers and sisters."

Any stray cub she stumbled across sounded a lot like Tai, but still. Azi glared back at Kweu with an intimidating gaze, as if daring him to say that Tai was his mother again. She'd have heard about another sibling. Although she hadn't been around much lately... The shouting didn't seem to deter the glare, harsh as ever. And then came the 'yous' as if he were accusing her of something. Like she'd done anything wrong. She was so going to strangle Nyeupe if this was his plan. But...wait. Matifu? Her father? The father she'd never met, but who her mother always talked about?

"How do you know my dad!?" spoke the adolescent through gritted teeth, anger at the point of snapping though she managed to stop herself - for now. Number of siblings he was asking now. Her life story next?

"...Four." came the rather reluctant reply, Azriell knowing she shouldn't give away information such as that to a stranger, but curious to find out what the hell he was on about, and exactly where this was going.

ooc|| Hey, you know what would be fun? If we PM'd Tahja and brought Tai into this xD

((That's fine by me, but, uh, XD;;; Mae, Azi should know her father by name, dear... Remember in the RP contest (it was one of the stipulations), I told you guys that Tai would talk all about family, be they visiting or not. ;__; She wouldn't keep her other kids a secret from one another. Kweu and Tui could not know because they've been away, but Ayato spends a LOT of time with Tai/helping her look after Azi and them. Could that be corrected or editted or something, before Tai comes in, please?))

((No worries love, thanks much!))

Tai was normally a lioness not to let life's worries get her down, but for a while now Azi had not been herself, and the mother was wondering if she'd actually manage to snap out of it on her own. She believed in letting her children make their mistakes, as long as they weren't fatal, and this was no different, but how far was too far?

The storyteller stared a bit at the scene a few yards ahead of her though, the sight of her youngest and her oldest arguing, or at least so it appeared. She was a bit at a loss, and so didn't immediately step in, but after Azi demanded to know how Kweu knew Matifu, something shook her out of it.

"Kweu!" She called first, glad to see her son again. "You've finally come back! I just wish you had come a little bit sooner, you just missed Tui, love." She commented, though not with any scolding at all. As her gentle tone crooned this knowledge she glanced to Azi calmly and stopped to stand between the two. "Azi... I see that you've met your brother, well... one of them." She nodded, glancing at Kweu again for emphasis. "Is everything alright between you two? It looked as if you were fighting...?"
PostPosted: Thu Mar 20, 2008 8:17 am

Hesitantly the young adult took a step back, ears flattening against his head as his brows knitted slightly. Kweu wasn't understanding why she was so upset; he was slowly putting the pieces of the very intricute and jumbled puzzle together and yet it seems that asking these questions and trying to understand exactly what has happened since his paws had led him to wander was becoming more like a squabble. The creamy, yellow male pursed his lips slightly as it seem it escalated a bit more- his tail curling around him as a slight frown slinked onto his maw. This certianly wasn't a challenge and even a part of him wished he could make it better!

Again he watched as anger seemed to flash upon her face, teeth seeming to grind againt one another which caused Kweu to swallow and his forepaws to tremble. Oh goodness! This was not good! Knowing perfectly well that she was family didn't mean that she wouldn't try to make him eat his words or pin him down. Even though such a thought seemed silly, Kweu felt as if he needed to walk on egg shells- but then again she was family. Family was suppose to help and support each other.

No one gets left behind, right?

"Uhm.." he was choking already as his tongue felt like a brick inside of his mouth. "Well- I..Ayato and I we...goodness- we saw...Ayato and I saw them together one night which was the night right before I left." It was a bit strange to see his mother and another male together but perhaps the strangest thing was actually running into one of Matifu's own sons! Ororo'lisani wasn' it? Yes. Quite a smooth tongued fellow- eloquent and rather humble. Though with not actually meeting Matifu, Kweu already had judged that through his son the male was most likely good though learning that he had left his mother seemed to sting a bit secretly.

For a few moment he remained silent. The cogs of his mind were turning as he tried to push the saddened thoughts from out of his mind. Once again as Azriell answered another of his questions, Kweu managed to smile and shake away the dark from inside of him.

"Four, huh? Wow. I guess you and your siblings are close right?" He commented, canting his head slightly as yet another strikingly familiar scent seemed to waft lightly across the drifting breeze. Although such a scent was forever engraved in his mind, it was impossible not to recognize it. His was momentarily at a loss as his name was called- that familiar and unmistakable voice! His head snapped instantly in the direction as hs pools of cerulean hue seemed to widen. And there he watched the white lioness, as pure and even still as radient as light from the full moon, walk towards them. Already he could feel his heart racing, a happiness returning to him in seeing his mother again along with the feeling of knowing that he was home.

A broad smile graced his maw, chuckling rather sheepishly as he neared towards her and tenderly nuzzled against her. "I have- though I'm afraid only for a while," he commented as he pulled away, his gaze leveling with that of his mothers. But at the second part, Kweu seemed to frown slightly.

"Tui? Will he be coming back? What about Ayato? Where is he?"
If only he could find his brothers! There was so much to tell them, so much to catch up on and, of course, telling them about the lioness who he was already falling head over paws for. But for now he tried to mask that emotion and focused on what was at hand and currently unfolding.
The young adult exhaled softly, giving a small shake of his head.

"Everythins fine- I think it was more surprise and sudden alarm rather than fighting," he chuckled softly shrugging his shoulders. "I guess being gone for so long has left me in the dust of keeping up with everything. Hopefully soon that will change," he remarked.

Even still Kweu'Chaka was still thrilled and rather excited to finally bring Isabis to his home. Though they had been spending many days together and very few apart, Kweu had made a promise to her in showing her his home and family; that was a promise that he was going to keep. And now that he had been fortunate enough to stumble upon his mother as well as a sibling, the young adult felt his heart begin to patter against his chest. He had been waiting quite some time to finally tell his mother or at least alert her or give a key into the reason of which had caused quite a long absence.

"Well its good to know that there is more family here that I can come home to- I've been gone for quite a while because- well, I met this girl and.." for a moment Kweu's smile broadened, stretching across his face as he exhaled softly. "I'm going to bring her home for you to meet."

It seemed as if he too had his own turn of events as well!

"I think you'll really like her."
