Alekxiel sat in a corner, reading one of his horror comic books. To say that the way he snickered at the gore on the page was creepy wouldn't have been that far off, but he didn't care.
"That's right... splinter her spine - she's a government spy. You don't need her." He muttered to himself, face buried in the pages.

Burton walked around the halls kicking a paper ball around. He had been accused of watching too many movies, which was his hobby, and sent off to find something more productive to do.

Sighing softly, Sinopa slipped quietly into the room. A cursory glance revealed at least one other who seemed preoccupied with reading...something. She couldn't tell what just yet, but her ear twitched at some of the strange mutterings from the young Wayward. Instead of looking concerned, she smiled, smoothing her dress before walking towards the stranger and kneeling close by. Acting completely forward and lacking shame, she leaned in and peered straight into the other's face, blinking curiously. "Whatcha' reading? Is it any good?"

Alekxiel looked up and blinked, holding out the book. On the cover was a man cut in half and streaming blood out of every available orifce.
"Its called 'Bloody Horrror Conspiracy'. And I'll be damned if it isn't the best thing I've ever read." He answered. "The protagonist dies over and over again - but he's a spy, and he solves mysteries by divining things from peoples entrails after they're dead."

Burton walked passed the room the other two were in, he heard the word 'blood' and peeked in,"Someone say 'blood'?".

Sinopa looked up at the other voice and grinned, pointing at the other. "He did!"
Seemingly unaffected by the scenes of graphic violence and gore, the fox nodded at the explanation enthusiastically. "Okay...so let me get this straight...the spy dies over and over again, but comes back to life to solve the mysteries, or like...a main person dies, but the spy comes and looks at their guts and solves the mystery?"

The young cat didn't really have much more to say. When it really came down to it, his tough guy act was just that - an act.
"Well... you wanna see it? I was reading it, but I don't have anything better to do at the moment.", he offered, loooking at this Buton almost expectantly as he held out the gory graphic novel.

He looked mildly perturbed, but handed the book over. He generally didn't hand out his books to just anyone; but this one seemed more than a little interested, so why not let him have his fun? After all, it couldn't hurt, could it?
"You should read it from the beginning though. It's alot easier to understand that way.", He advised, still looking just a little wary. It was, after all, one of his favorite books... and the only one he actually owned.

Sinopa didn't seem upset that her question was basically ignored. She felt she understood the basics of the story well enough and she might just have to find a copy of this for herself to enjoy sometime. The boys seemed to be preoccupied with each other anyway.
She smiled knowingly. Boys will be boys.
The first kid seemed a bit distracted though after handing over his book....moreso in a way than he had been before. "So," she started, trying to engage him again, "You read anything else as interesting as this? I'm always looking for something new to read."

He looked back at her with his little mismatched eyes, and raised an eyebrow in question. " Yeah.... I read alot, but that's the only book I own. I like to read spy novels though... and I love Stephen King with the passion of a thousand suns..." He seemed to pause, and then blushed hotly, ammending his earlier statement. "- His writing, I mean! Not him, as in the guy! That would be creepy! And he isn't that good lookin' anyways...." He trailed off, still hot-faced. He wasn't very good with people.

"Of course it is... what, didja think I'd lie to you? Why would I lie?" He queried, raising an eybrow at Burton... though the sentence continued in his head, If there was nothing to gain?
"I especially like how on page 23 he uses his own arm to beat off a zombie." He continued.
