Harvest Moon is enjoyed regularly by both guys and girls alike. Traditionally the main character has been a guy but there are games where you cam play as a girl too. I myself like to play as both because it's just more interesting that way. Which do you prefer?

I'll play as both, but if I have a choice, I'll almost always pick girl. Probably because I really wanted to play as a girl in HM 64. Maybe that's why. But I'm fine playing as a boy, so I guess I don't really care. sweatdrop

If I had to choose between the two, I'd play as a girl. But if I have to, I'll play as a boy. X3
I like playing as a girl more though, since I always use my real name when playing too. XP

Most of the new games coming out have the option of playing as a girl or a guy. For AWL I didn't really want to play as a girl. I didn't care for much of the bachelors in that game. The girls on the other hand seem very nice.

Master Domino Most of the new games coming out have the option of playing as a girl or a guy. For AWL I didn't really want to play as a girl. I didn't care for much of the bachelors in that game. The girls on the other hand seem very nice. I agree on that. >_< Although, I wish there were more bachelors and bachelorettes on both games. AND more events. I always end up skipping days. gonk

Gustaf reminds me of a hermit, Rock seems a bit like a hippie, and Marlins kind of scares me sweatdrop It seems kind of strange to have only 3 bachelors and 3 bachelorettes. All the other games have more spouse options. And more events never hurt anybody 3nodding

For me it depends on who you can marry. In AWL I'd much rather play as a boy because I don't like any of the bachelors, but I prefer the girl's version of FoMT.

I don't like being a teenager. o_O Rock is a little too hyperactive for me, and ... I dunno just no. And he doesn't help either. >_< Marlin scares me too, but he's I like him better than the others. X3 Still scares me though. <_< This is pretty much the only game that has the least bachelors. MM has... a lot, and in one game. And AWL probably has the most... boring events so far. Not much "activity" you can do. >_O But I luff the story and the time change out of all. I wished my kid could grow up in MM and have his own style. But nooo, he just cries. All... that... crying... D:

I wonder why playing as your opposite gender seems to bother guys more than girls...
It's not fact or anything, it just kind of seems to be the case. Not sure why.

I don't mind playing as a guy at all, I even have 2 male mules on here. <_<
My male cousins and friends are like that though. They prefer to be male than female in video games.
Then there's my metro friends... >_>
I just don't understand boys. XD

One of my male friends makes female characters for his games, but my brothers mainly stick to boy characters. Except with Xand, because he'll play as a girl if he likes them better. Which is wierd. I'll always play as a girl first, and try out other characters later. smile

I like playing the girl version mostly because I am a girl. Also, the girl's versions always seems to have a few extra bells and whistles since it comes after the boys version and the programmers decide to through in extra stuff.
