Well, it had surely been quite the day before for Aziza. At first, it had started out rather smoothly, her just exploring and scoffing at the pity that was called the Rogue Lands. Then, certainly out of nowhere, she had met up with a rather handsome (if she did say so herself) red lion. Ayo'obi was his name, and bringing on quite the charm was his game. Had Aziza minded? Hell no. Of course not. This male was just too good looking and charming to try to say no to, even though she surely had tried to beforehand.
Now though, now it was the next morning. Things were kind of hazy after the night before. She knew that she had walked off with the stunning male, but she couldn't really remember what happened. It didn't bother her though. She simply figured that in any case, what ever did or would happen to her would be something good, whether it be for herself or for her pride. So, she simply went with the flow, just accepting what could of happened and what might.

In Ayo's opinion, both yesterday and last night had been wondrously fun for him. Aziza was not his usual type of girl, but that in no way made her bad. She was still stunning and intelligent and a variety of other things that appealed to him and made him want to spend time around her...
...well...a lot of that was true for most of the other little encounters he had too.
He sighed heavily and rolled eyes at himself. Mayhap he needed to 'get a life' as some said, but then again, he was having fun for now, though to tell true he wouldn't mind seeing some of his 'acquaintances' again.
Stretching out on his stomach, his claws made marks in the dust beneath him as he lazily worked the kinks out of his muscles. Ah, glorious new day.

Ah well. Not everything in life was perfect, and this purple lioness knew that. No male, however, was perfect at all. If anything, they were scum... Pure filth. Still, that didn't mean that she couldn't fall for the occasional prince every now and then. And she had surely done just that.
Rolling over onto her back and stretching her feet up in to the air, a long and wild yawn erupted from her maw, her tail lashing underneath her. Her eyes blinked lazily and she shook her head some, as best as she could anyhow. She didn't really know what to do right now, nor did she care. She was fairly happy, and she didn't want that to just disappear. Now, if only she could convince this prince to come and join her pride. The chances of that though were very rare... As much as Aziza hated those odds.

Ayo glanced over, noting bright purple fur to his side and he smiled, brightening instantly. "Good morning, Miss Aziza." He trilled brightly, apparently an up and eager morning sort of individual.
Naturally he couldn't go with her, as much as he had enjoyed her company. The thought had naturally occurred to him as well...as it also had with the dark-pelted lioness that had joined him some weeks back, but she had not wanted him then and this female now, as lovely and intriguing as she might be, would lead him to a life he wasn't entirely sure that he could live.
Atop that, settling down just wasn't for him right now, not that he was sure it ever would be. Perhaps he would ever be the roaming knight.

"Good morning, Ayo." She was quick to respond and was gentle about it. The day previous to this one, she had thought that all males of any species were just idiots, not capable of being kind, sweet, or smart in any fashion what so ever. However, this red lion had indeed shown her otherwise, and had changed her in ways that he probably couldn't quite imagine.
"If I may ask, what happened last night? I can't quite remember.. And I don't exactly like to miss out on the details of my life." She rolled over once more, pushing her body upwards, her legs stretching underneath her. Another great yawn emerged from her purple maw, her tail raising up into the air and stretching as well. She shook her head once again, the white diamond on her forehead being revealed from underneath her dark purple hair.

"Uhm..." Goodness, Ayo had not been expecting that question to be the first thing out of her mouth. How to tell her, exactly? This was a bit of an awkward situation, all things told, and was nearly as embarrassing as when Chiamaka had asked him where cubs come from. Purple lionesses would be his bane, he had quite decided this. "Well...we sort of er..."
Ayo smiled sheepishly and made an odd gesture with his paw. "You know...it was quite lovely...if you were wondering, quite a shame...that you can't remember it..." He flicked his tail from side to side, almost nervously watching her reaction. Though, from the way she was behaving...he supposed she wouldn't be entirely upset about it.
Noting that lovely white marking on her forehead, Ayo studied it for a moment, further admiring the sleek lioness. Gods he was so lucky these days...

Instantly, Aziza caught on. She was sure that if she tried hard enough to remember it, she could. However, it being a mystery was just as wonderful. Still, as long as she had cubs for her pride, then she was fine. These colored cubs should rank slightly higher than most for the pride, and to Aziza, that meant everything. Of course, any boys she had would be all the same rank, but at least any girls that were born would be ranked well.
"Ah... Well, not a problem. I could remember if I tried, but for now, I'll be fine without remembering. Not to be rude or anything.. Not by any means!" She smiled and flicked the tip of her tail across Ayo's back leg, just to be a tease to him. Of course, this all was a one night thing, but why not make it good while she still could? Flings were meant to be like that.

Ayo laughed softly, a delighted rumbling sound low in his throat, utterly pleased with her attitude, his tail coming over to splay across her own and flicking up her own leg in a similar manner, sending the lioness a sly look, he leaned in close. "Well, lovely Aziza, if you're having trouble recollecting, then perhaps we might...reenact the events of last night for the sake of your memory?"
After all, it wasn't as if either of them were short on time or any tragic thing like that. Goodness knew that the both of them could probably use a little...relaxation and fun. Ayo did enjoy spending time with her, and he rather secretly hoped to see her again whether or not he joined that strange pride of hers.

With a sudden smirk traveling along the length of her maw, the purple lioness bended her head down to the red lion that lay below her, happily snuggling his furry face. The idea he presented sound so delightful... So delightful indeed. However, she had to head back home at some point. She had her council duties there, and they were not ones to be easily forgotten by any means.
"Ayo... I'd love to.. I would... But I must return home. Currently, I am the most important member of my family, and if I don't do my duties, I could be in some serious trouble."
She nuzzled his cheek again, purring slightly. While this and the night previous had been all fun and games, it was simply that. He was here on this Earth for one reason and one reason only... To give her cubs for her pride. While he was very charming and rather suave, Aziza needed to keep her mind on her goals. Cubs for her clan and pride were her goals, and she would make sure to accomplish them by any means.

He laughed at her actions, nipping playfully at the air just beneath her chin. She really was such an interesting lioness, and he couldn't help but admit that he liked her. Such was the trouble with the way he lived his life...he wanted, in some measure, to keep each gem that he met.
"I understand completely..." And he did, for the weight of responsibility occasionally weighed on his shoulders as well, most oft in the form of young Chiamaka. "I will not keep you when duty calls you off, Aziza...though I must thank you, my lady, for a most wondrous time."
There was a welcoming warmth and energy in his green eyes, as he slowly picked himself up. "And perhaps I might visit sometime...would that be allowed? I would naturally abide by the rules of your pride during my stay."

Aziza heard his words and watched as he lifted himself off the grassy ground, his green eyes seeming to twinkle and sparkle. He was telling the truth, and she could tell that right off the bat. It wasn't very often one met an honest lion, and now that she had, she only wished she could keep hold of him forever. Unfortunately, that's not the way her pride worked. True love and forever bonding was so very rare, and was rather discouraged, especially with her immediate family. Sure, her cubs would be loved by all, but if they were to ever find out that she had taken a life mate, then she would be looked at as a disgrace, and not wanted anymore. Aziza would certainly not have that.
"You are more than welcome to visit. However, I must warn you that many lionesses will probably try to persuade you stay, as that's just what they do. You'll also be looked at as lower than they are, as that's how males live their lives there. Just don't take any of it offensively, if and when you do drop by."
As the time grew more and more near for the lion and lioness to head their separate ways, Aziza could feel her hostility returning, just itching to resurface once more. She had held it inside for too long, and she just NEEDED to criticize something... Sooner or later.

Ayo simply took in her words, and then bobbed his head in acquiesce. "I fully understand...fare well, then, Aziza, until we meet again." With one last brilliant smile, he turned to lope off...as it was time to hunt again, and bring back food for Chiamaka, who was probably stewing over yet another nightly absence on the male's part.
A worrywart, that child.

The purple lioness nodded her head back to the multi shades and hues of red male, her pink eyes watching him simply go about his way. While she still couldn't quite remember last night, she was sure it happened. Her feelings for him were just too strong to have not done anything, and he was too good-looking as well.
As a small nagging voice began to bother her in her head, a slight sneer came across her maw, her body language completely changing from soft and delicate to rude and bossy, her expression becoming one of 'I'm all that and a bag of chips, b***h'. Her ears lowered and she tossed her head, her hair flipping back to reveal the white diamond on her head once more.
"Dirty bastards...."
With that, the lioness stuck her nose up in the air, turned on her heels, and started to stalk her way back to the Kunanda territory, not even thinking twice about looking back.
