Thona found himself pacing back and forth slowly out of boredom. His tail flicking back and forth hitting the tree that he had been walking next to every time he pasted it. Though, he couldn't even feel that he hit it, or if he did he was ignoring it completely. He was far from his new set of family, and for good reason. One would say that he was avoiding them.
That would be the right thing to say. He let out a snort. He could see them from where he was, yet he could hardly hear them. His paws made almost no noise as he turned and walked back and forth. But, that was the reason for his gem upon his head. It's green-peridot color shined brightly. And he was proud of it. It matched almost perfect with his eyes as well.

Karayan looked at his mother. She seemed busy with his siblings, so the little one quietly walked away from the group. He didn't need to be with these fools, he needed to be with other royalty! His green eyes blinked and he made his way away from the family, quickly and quietly. Being able to sneak away quietly he had learned from his father who walked around without a sound.
The little kit's eyes looked around. His orange pelt sort of matched his father's, but had a marking from his mothers pelt. Karayan sighed as he looked over his shoulder at his pathetic siblings. He was far better than any of them put together. His little brown nose rose in the air as he walked.

Annoyed, Thona saw one of his sons. One that had yet bugged him, but it seemed he wasn't going to be so luckly this time. He turned around to where his back was too the son, then turned towards him again still pacing back and forth in front of the large tree. It was keeping the sun off his back, and was where he had been for the past couple of days. His tail continued to flick about, though a little less then normal, missing the tree. He gave a sigh.

Karayan's eyes followed his father's motions. He copied his movements and quietly made his way through the grass. Not a sound was heard from the kit's paws as he walked, he was more like his father than he thought. Karayan's green eyes looked around for a little bit, trying to not seem like he was staring at his father. The orange kit's prance slowed to a steady walk.

Thona continues to walk back and forth. Waiting for the kit to attack him. He'd soon teach him not to mess with him. Though, It was almost time to actually teach them how to hunt, and fight, and all that good stuff. Most of them seemed ready, and he was glad about that There was still one of them he'd yet to actually teach him a lesson. He wasn't even going to bother about his daughter. Females were worthless and only good about making more children.

Karayan noticed his father acting like he was waiting for something. The orange kit flicked his ears as he continued to walk over to his father. Slowly, the orange kit reached his father's side, but he didn't attack him. "Father." He said plainly, his mind filling with thoughts.

Well, that was a bit different, Thona stopped in place and waited for a moment before looking down at the little kit He was as orange as him, which made him want to smirk, but thought twice about it. A frown filled his face as he looked down upon the kit. "What do you want?" He asked rather rudely. he had no desire to try to be kind to anyone. Even his kits. Though, he wasn't going to kill them like he would someone else if they annoyed him enough. Just a decent smack here and there would work.

At his father's reaction to him joining his side, Karayan shrugged his shoulders a little. He looked back at the family he belonged to. They all weren't worthy enough to be in his presence. "Nothing from you." He answered his father, looking back up to him. The orange kit looked back at his own tail then at his father's, now he had found something different between them other than their markings. Karayan thought for a second about what he was even doing over by his father in the first place. Did his father even deserve to be in his presence? Of course he did, he was a hunter and hunters were always useful in some ways.

His face showed relief from his son's answer, yet he felt a bit saddened upon the thought of none of his kids needing him. He felt he taught his other's pretty well. Apart from the accidents with that two tailed ulaya he met. There was some mistake there, but that was no matter. His tail flicked as he gave a angry look towards his son. He was glad at least one of them got a ton of orange. Though much more then even he had. Karayan didn't even have white on him. Though, that wasn't a problem. The others of his new sons had all shown a bit of himself in them. More of him this time then his first litter. Which made him feel proud.
The kit looked as if he was sure about everything. Thona would knock that look right off his face in a moment. Teach him a good lesson about life. He wasn't the goody goody father like most. He didn't care if anyone thought that he was treating others rudely, or harshly. He swung his paw, backwards, towards his son. Of course, not to hurt him too bad, but to see his reaction to what was going on.

The silence between them made the orange kit's eyes search around. What was his father thinking about doing? After a moment, the large paw was quickly coming at Karayan. He dropped to the ground so his father wouldn't hit him. What on earth was this for?
After a moment Karayan's green eyes shot up to his father. How could he attack the king and his son?! The kit took a few steps away from his father where he was a safe distance away. If his father tried to attack, Karayan would see it before Thona could catch him.

Thona didn't look at the other at all. Good, was all he thought, at least he could dodge a hit. His tail swung towards the other, seeing what else would happen. Unlike most others, Thona used his tail as a weapon too. It normally got most other's when he flung his tail at them. They'd never expect him to use it for anything he bet.

Karayan's eyes glanced from his father's paws to the tail that was flying at him. He jumped up and over the spotted tail that belonged to his father. Was this some sort of test? Karayan stood perfectly still now, watching his father's movements. He hadn't ever thought a tail could be used as a weapon, but since Karayan's eyes seemed to catch everything he easily dodged it. The orange kit didn't understand why most of his family always wanted to fight with him. First his brother and now his father.

So, this was going to be harder to teach the little kid who's boss. He took his paw and slapped down at the kit. Not hard, but enough to push him to the ground if it hit. He was going to hit this kit weather he liked it or not. He didn't feel like getting angry and actually hitting him, which might happen if he doesn't hit him soon.

Karayan wasn't fast enough to dodge his father's paw that was coming straight towards him. Once he felt his father's paw on his back, he felt the ground against his face. The kit closed his green eyes for a second then looked up to his father. Of course, his father was boss right now, but when Karayan grew up, he'd be the boss of just about everyone, except maybe his father. This made the kit a little angry, but he didn't show it.

Thona held him and put his mouth next to the kits head. "If you don't watch it, you'll wind up dead. I'm not the only thing you have to worry about." He said in a whisper like tone. It was his only warning he'd give the kit. "Wise up, and you'll manage to live in this pathetic place, with the rest of the pathetic ulaya that roam the world. " He continued. "Then, just maybe.... If your lucky, you'll be the lead of some good pack, or tribe. But... I hightly doubt that." He said with a snicker. He knew his kids wouldn't be too good, at least most of them. He only had hope in one of them being almost as good as him. He just didn't know which one showed more promise, and take under his trainning.
