 taja looks around as she climbs the mountain path, she had woken up to find herself bigger she had to look into a small puddle to see herself as adult now. She had found her father and told him that she was going to go to the Mountains to look Karma so he could show her what fish looked like
she stops on the path and looks around, it was pretty up here, if he lived anywhere near where she was, blinking and looking up to the higher parts of the mountain path that she was on. Once to the top she glasps at the colors of the trees and mountain flowers around her it was a small meadow that she had come in on

Today Karma was practicing flying. It was an awkward business. He had to expect as much and tried to be pleased at the progress he had made. He had the strength to lift himself off the ground and even glide a short distance but after that his wings seemed to fail him. The muscles were too weak or he was too unused to using them. Either could be why he was standing in a meadow in an uncharacteristic state of exhaustion.
He leaned down tiredly to pluck a mouthful of grass and flowers and raised his head to see a mare entering the area. She was strangely familiar... where had he seen her before?

looking around and spotting another soquilli he was blue with pink petal patterns , he looked like Karma, a foal she met once in the garden not far from her home, she watched him as he bent down to take a bite out of flowers and grass, she watched as him rised his head and looked at her, she smiles at him " Karma?" she blinks at him hopeing that she was right, but him could also be karma's brother too

"Yes, I'm Karma." He recognized the colors in her coat and paused while he tried to remember where he had seen her before. Somehow it was flowers that came to mind when he saw her, more flower than the few sparse ones that poked their way out of the grass in this meadow.
"It's Taja, isn't it." He leaned down to take another mouthful of grass while waiting for an answer.

" yes, I thought that since I'm bigger that I would come and check out the mountains, I hoped that i would run into you, so if you wanted you could show me the fish" she smiles, then bending her neck down to take a bite herself, still keeping both eyes on him as she does it

He did remember saying something similar. He raised his head after taking his last mouthful and looked back over at Taja. "I can show you them now, if you'd like. They've been coming to the surface of the lake lately." He did enjoy standing on the lakeside and watching the fish swirling around in the water. It always had a calming effect on him.

she looked at him, smiling sweetly " I would like that very much, it has been getting warmer maybe that is why they come to the surface more to enjoy the warmth of the sun, we can leave as soon as your ready." she didn't want to hurry him he was eatting and she thought it was rude to do so.

He gave his wings a wide stretch and shook the remaining fatigue out of them. He'd take back up his flying attempts tomorrow. He had had enough of them for today, anyways. "I'm ready now. We can start." Walking to the river would not only loosen his sore legs up a bit but it would give him a chance to replenish his fluids. He hadn't known how thirsty he was until he had taken this break.

she watches him stretch " alright, lead the way." she walks beside him, she stops to look around the meadow again taking it all in, then turning so she could watch him " this meadow is very nice it must get a lot of shade." she wondered how a lake looked since she had never seen one her aunt hanna had told her how one looked, it sounded wonderful, with all the water

"It does," replied Karma as he began to walk down the path. He greatly enjoyed that meadow. It had always been one of his favorite places to go and think, or in today's case, learn to fly. He thought of the stream that lay down the path and hoped that the fish would be visible today. He imagined it would be rather disappointing for Taja to come all this way and see nothing.
"It isn't far."

taja smiles at him " I'm glade to hear it, it looks like it grows beatuful flowers too." she walks closer to where he is, watching him closely

"There are many more by the water itself." His voice was calm and balanced, neither excited nor bored. For him, there was nothing unusual about this encounter.
"I am not sure what all the varieties are called, but there are usually waterlilies." He wasn't certain what all the varieties of fish were called either. Maybe he'd find a soquili some day that would be able to tell him.

" waterlillies, cool I bet they are pretty." she didn't mean to get excited it was just the way she was, she hoped that she didn't scare him away with the way that she was, she smiles at him, she looks at the trail and smiles again " I can smell water."

"Yes, we're close." His ears could make out the sound of the water trickling over rocks. They had just about reached the small stream that fed into the lake where his family liked to swim and cool off. They wouldn't see the big fish in the stream but they might be able to see something. He had started to see small crayfish that liked to hide amongst the rocks and they were pretty interesting.

taja watches his ears she decides that she should listen too, hearing water she smirks abit " cool." she smiles at him, following closely behide him, looking around and waiting to see if she could see anything ahead of them, she closes her eyes listening to the trickling of the steam, she hoped that she didn't look foolish to Karma by doing this
