my girlfriend has gone through a lot of crap since 2008 started....her grandfather died...she was almost raped in her school locker room...and recently she ran over a puppy (on accident) and saw someone try to commit suicide (the girlfriend broke up with the guy and told him to jump out the window...which he did...he survived but you know...) anyways what do you do when a bunch of things repeatedly attack you without giving anytime to recover?

I try not to think about what has happened and do things that occupy my mind like spending timw with my bf (in my case its more talking to him since he lives in NJ and I live nowhere near him) drawing listening to music writing and playing video games. But that however is just me.

What happens when all that is taken away? Who do you go to then?
God is the only one who can give us everlasting life.

I don't know if I should tell you this, Don't read this if you feel like you shouldn't.

Two weeks ago I almost completely renounced my faith. My best friend Danny was dealing with suicide and the devil told me this "God is going to let Danny kill himself." I was thrown from one end of my life to the other. But the worst part was when I asked God if he would really let Danny kill himself. He said "Micah, If it is my will and for my glory, then Yes."

Why are you being pessimistic all of a sudden?

I'm not being pesimistic. I'm just get into these moods because I get enraged at how the devil can so easily stop people from being who God wanted them to be.

Sorry,
Micah

Yes you are being pessimistic. That is pessimistic thinking. And people change and maybe possibly God intended them to be who they are. Ever thought of that?

mibs. you are one lucky man. She loves you dood. She has more to live for then you, but this is what I suggest.

Go for the christian path, and patch her up with some good friends and stuff, give her value more as a friend...

well that's my view.

I just wanted to get this out of the way real fast

Damn

Okay now to your question
I'd freak out for about two hours
Then do somthing needing alot of very careful attention
And then by that point not only did you burn up alot of pent up energy and frustration
But you re-focused your mind

Wow! That's a lot to deal with. But I'm pretty sure there have been blessing in between those events too. They're just being overshadowed by the bad things. And if you can't think of one, be thankful that she's alive, she wasn't raped, she has a good friend watching over her (and probably many more), and her grandfather is resting peacefully (if he's a christian, then she'll see him in heaven). But, I hope you will just stay near her for the time being (whether you are her boyfriend or just a friend) and do something together that will cheer her up. Maybe even have a "crying" session to just let things go. But that doesn't mean you can't start anew. God has a reason for her to be alive and I'm pretty sure you being in her life has a great purpose to it too. So...yesh. I'm sorry if it doesn't help.

Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength."
