Discovered font formatting, eh? biggrin Ah, the joys of screwing around with the boldness and color of our text before we share our words of wisdom with the Internet universe. A glorious thing, to be sure.
About the video...wow. I had no idea Brian could sing that high.
I'd never watched footage of Queen + Paul Rodgers before, and the way Brian's singing is, apparently, completely untouched by age really impresses me. He seemed to give the impression that he wasn't used to singing that high--there were some places where his voice was kind of shaky, like he was a tad unsure or something. (Or maybe that's just me.)
Overall, a great vocal performance by Brian May.

@Cheese-I've always known about it, but I'm usually too lazy to use it, unless I'm waiting for the time to pass till I can post again... Me neither Watch some other Q+PR and Brian and Roger sing quite a bit...
@Ariel-Yeah, Roger, I wasn't surprised about, cause we all know he can go high...but Brian? wow...simply, wow

<******** sake. I did not know Brian could sing that high. That's awesome though... I mean hell. I'm a soprano 1 and sometimes I can't even hit those notes. I so want to see Q+PR now. crying
But, goddam. The ignorance in the comments for that video just get to ******** sake. THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO REPLACE FREDDIE. I don't know why people can't get that through their thick skulls.

Blue Silver THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO REPLACE FREDDIE. I don't know why people can't get that through their thick skulls.
THANK YOU!!! I can't understand that either. Brian and Roger are both very talented musicians, and who the hell's to say whether or not they can continue doing what they love? I also don't get people who are so touchy about them keeping the name "Queen." The way I see it, the main reason they kept the name was so people will recognize who they are--if they just said "Brian May and Roger Taylor", a lot of people wouldn't be grabbed by that as much. And I once came across a Brian May quote about the Q+PR tour, and he specifically stated that he was firmly against trying to have someone replace Freddie.

I mean, I don't know if I would call it Queen if it were my choice, but the way I see it is, if that's what they want to call it, let them call it that. It's not like they're trying to pretend that Freddie wasn't there and that John never existed.. ******** sake.

*blinks* you're 21? huh...
Yeah, I definitely agree-love the angry comment you posted
He said they liked Paul because he is a talented singer, and sings a bit like Freddie (compared to Steve Tyler or Geddy Lee or someone), but he's been in the music industry for a long time and has his own style

Wow, I thought it was brilliant. I love to read the comments, not too sure why, but people who say stuff like that just annoy me. Why do people have to be so dense? Just ask this question: 'Why would they try to replace Freddie?' The answer: There's no reason to. And they aren't.

Yeah, I'm 21... How old did you think I was? lol But.... Paul does get a little similar to Freddie in some bits.. Paul's got a powerful voice, but like you said he has his own style...
Kyuubi: I like reading comments until I get to some n00b argument fest that those youtube idiots like to get into. Like they're so high and mighty or something.... bleh.
