Star Wars: Band of Vode Group image coming soonA Clone Wars RP A threat looms over the galaxy. The CONFEDERATION OF INDEPENDENT SYSTEMS, or CIS, have presented a massive force that could challenge or even topple the OLD REPUBLIC and the JEDI who swore to protect the right to democracy.
However, the republic has one last option. Discovering that a clone army has been in development on the planet of Kamino, the OLD REPUBLIC decides to use this force to counter the droid menace that has just recently appeared.
Beyond the front lines, a secret weapon is deployed against the CIS. A crack team of clonetroopers has been created, and using special weapons and tactics, the BAND OF VODE, as they call themselves, may just be capable to infiltrate the CIS and defeat them from within...

General Information:
You are a member of a crack team of Republic Commandos. It is your duty to carry out the missions too elite for any regular trooper. Note: This RP should not conflict with any existing EU material, but just for the sake that some factors may be altered, this RP is AU. Also, note that all battles being fought are canon and actually happened. The team will be sent to one different planet after a few weeks. This element is used in all the guild RPs, so get familiar with it.
General Kit Self-sufficient combat infantry soldiers are issued weapons as per specialty/division, two Merr-Sonn V-1 Thermal Detinators, two cuncussion grenades, one ECD grenade, and one small medpac (contains small reams of synthflesh and a small capsule of bacta).
Weapons
DC-15A Rifle: a long rifle capable of destroying a super-class battle droid at an optimum range of 200 meters. Blaster pack capacity is 60 shots, with 600 from one gas charge. DC-15B Blaster: a folding stock, short barreled, rapid-fire direct assault weapon and repeater. It consumes gas at a rate of 300 shots per one charge. DC-15s Pistol: a blaster pistol, similar to the DC-17, where "s" stands for "sidearm." DC-15B Deluxe: outwardly appearing like an oversized DC-15A, the "deluxe" has been reconfigured as a missile launcher for anti-armor use. DC-17 Pistol: two versions exist with purely aesthetic differences. Both are competent, grip fed small-arm blaster pistols. DC-17m: an effective weapon that can be used with deadly force and can be field-stripped and outfitted with a modular sniper attachment or anti-armor attachment. The DC-17m's primary blaster attachment has a magazine capacity of 60 rounds, The Sniper attachment has magazines holding 5 high-powered rounds, while the anti-armor attachment only chambers 1 shaped-charge anti-armor grenade. TW-X: a stealthy, tactical weapon designed by a small company subcontracted by BlasTech. It has a range of 1400 meters and weilds a good amount of power, but also hides the light trails of its energy bolts so that they appear invisible and make the position of the firer harder to determine. Blaster pack capacity is 10 shots.
Current Mission Objectives: -Destroy the research being done on clone-killing nanoviruses. - Apprehend Dr. Uthan
Current Location:
Tingel Arm, Corporate Sector, Qiilura System, Qiilura
An agricultural planet known for growing luxury foodstuffs, it was a planet not unlike Earth itself, with a wide variety of terrain. Most combat took place on river inlets, plains, and fields.
Canon Mission Proceedings:
Republic Commandos of Omega Squad entered the planet and took out communications in the city of Teklet, allowing the Clones to communicate properly and securely. After destroying the nano-virus and capturing Dr. Uthan, they are faced by Ghez Hokan, a former member fo the Mandalorian Death Watch. Hokan was killed.

Bios:All Bios should be set up like the following, and can be viewed in the Imperial Personnel Thread. After your bio is set up, I will let you in to the RP officially. DO NOT POST unless you''re bio is approved and displayed in the Imperial Personel thread. Send all bios to FrozenPhoenix32.Name: Greek letter (Alpha, Beta etc.), and Nickname. Primary Attribute: (Select from list, list TBA) Special Ability: (Select from list, list TBA) Qualities: Hothead, calm, patient, fiery, aggresive etc. Weapon Preffarance- Assault cannon, rifle, pistol, stealth gun, rocket launcher EMP, etc. This will help determine the special abilities you will be able to choose from. Description: Though, we all look the same, we will have customizable Armor. So, give us a description of your Armor, and if youre an artist, maybe even draw it? Battlefront Chars: Which SW Battlefront clone would you most like your character to be like? This will be the template, though you will be more than the average clone. Categories are: Clone Trooper, Clone Pilot, Clone Marksman, Jet Trooper, ARC Trooper, and a new one, Clone Medic That''s all the information I need for the time being, except for (Most important) a Display of your RPing Quality. If I know you from COTGCW or EmSquad, I''ll ask you to skip this, I''m pretty ocnfident allready, though if you''re somewhat new to these RPs, I will/may ask you for a sample. Primary Attributes:Stealth- You are testing an experimental armor; it's light and keeps joints uncovored to allow for the ease of silent movement, so it does admittedly provide less protection. However, no one can shoot what they can't see, and this armor bends light around it so that what's behind the armor is projected on its front, and vice-versa. This works as long as no bright light sources suddenly appear near the suit, as the light would be carried to a side where it was not projected from, rendering the wearer blindingly visible from the back. Until techs can compensate for this, the only weapons that will be usable successfully with stealth armor are those that have visible light trails removed (more later). Other than that, the armor absorbs radar and most sensors. This causes a blot on your position on scanners, and a wearer would be be a tiny blot to broad scanners, so tiny that the wearer would be all but undetectable. However, on more specific sensors, a wearer would stand out like a sore thumb, appearing as a noticable shape of nothingness. While techs are working with this, you'll have to deal with the crazy prototypes. Strength- Your strength is incredible. Your can carry a large load of gear and weapons, and the heaviest armor available, and do so with dignity and not a milliliter of sweat. However, because of all that junk all over you, you can't move very quickly, run very fast, or chase anything on foot. You're a tank, but one that has problems with its main drive units. Yeah, you can carry a lot of guns, and/or heavy ones, but while you have the best ranged firepower, you're a victim of close-combat. You can't move to react to melee weapons quickly enough, and your best defense is your armor, or a more nimble squadmate. However, if you shed all that armor, one of your punches could probably knock a super battle droid cold. Speed- Oh yes, you're a fast one alright, running, jumping, and all that is no problem for you; it barely tires you out. You'd be the one to help "ol' heavy" out, coming in with a melee weapon to artfully dodge and parry like some kind of Jedi master. The only downside is that you're armor is lighter, leaving joints exposed, and that armor supports less gear and ammunition. You'd also be unable to lug around anything heavy, and could sport at most one medium-long weapon or two small ones. Intelligence Slicing, hacking, and doing advanced calculus, makes you the perfect hacker, and I'm sure you'll be able to pick up driving any vehicle easily. Downside: With all that genius gear on your belt, you only have room for two light weapons at the most, and will probably depend on squadmates for protection while you crunch numbers like a databank droid. Special Abilities:Leadership- When it comes down to keeping a cool head in the heat of battle, and impromtu thinking, you're the man. You can formulate quite a plan in that noggin of yours. However, you'll be limited by the fact only one person can lead at one time in battle. Pistol Mastery- Wild West Cowboy? You like to use pistols. They're fast, small, and easy to weild. You can shoot the eye off a gundark at 50 paces, and your hand goes to your hip whenever you hear the clock strike high noon. Problem is you have to live with the weakness of the pistol's blasts. However, you're so profficient with these little guns that using any other weapon is kind of a waste; sure, you're trained to use standard weapons and can use them normally, but why use a huge-a** DC-15 when you can double-handed rapid-fire up some scrap many times more efficiently? Rifle Mastery- Hey Rambo! Yea, you like to wield them rifles. You can pick up any rifle off the field, feed it, use it, and basically pump those droids so full of blaster energy they'll look like they just fought a jedi and lost. For you automatic machine gunnin' hotheads, you can make cover fire look like a calm day. What could go wrong? Well, though you are very skilled in the use of standard repeating weapons and meet the marksmanship requirements for standard firearms, you have difficulty with a manual scope, and the use of more exotic weapons is almost a complete mystery to you. Marksmanship- You thought weapons should be your life. So you trained with many a weapon, to where you didn't need to shoot at everything in front of you to hit something. You can use a scope very efficiently, and basically make the role of sniper possible. But, at what cost? You sometimes wait too long for a shot to come, when you should be unloading your magazine. Also, you're so superior with semi-automatic, long-barreled weapons that the use of any others is a real step back. Plus, you have a proclivity for manual scopes that you don't have for standard, HUD scopes. Demolitions- Bombs, detanators, mines, grenades, pretty much anything that can explode is your field. Slight problem: With all that explosive gear with you, your armor is gonna have to be extra thick, to keep stray fire from blowing it up, and to keep you safe when you /do/ have to blow something, and that all means you're going nowhere fast, your speed is terrible, and don't even try jumping. Independant field work is almost impossible, and you need a dependable buddy with you before you even try to work your boom-booms. Heavy Weapons Specialist- That's right, you've got the big-guns baby! Heavy armor, and some weapons to take on a tank, which is a mixed blessing in itself. Hope you live! Though you sometimes wonder why everyone else is hiding behind that barracade while you are the only person fighting the spider droid... First Aid Kit- Designed specifically for medics on the field, this little gadget will accompany the medic quite nicely. Containing bacta, splints, and even a fine set of surgical tools garunteed to put a shocked expression on your friends. It will save a life if used, but the ability comes with the price of only able to wield a light weapon. You can use this one weapon like a pro, but lack vital experience and basic skills with others weapons. Systems Cracking and Encryption- Big name for hacker and code cracker. You use spikes effeciently to slice into a computer system, and can even use the enemy's own defenses against them. This skill also makes you able to crack into things other than databases, such as vehicles or turrets, and use them effeciently as well. Downside? You're a nerd. You aren't the best shot, and you'll have to rely on others to protect your six if you want to live when viewing a monitor. You're specifically trained to use one light weapon with which to defend yourself, but that's it. Jet-Pack Knowledge- Hey, Mavrick! Yea, you're a flyboy at heart alright. You were one of the lucky ones who got to be implanted with muscle memory on how to use a jetpack. Now you look like a clonetrooper that just came back from Padre's All You Can Eat Bean Burrito Buffet. But, all that bouncing requires fuel, and so you will have stronger armor, but at the cost of being slower, and always having the danger of that gas can on your back catching enemy fire and igniting your a** like the Fourth of July... Edit:: Greek Alphabet for those who need it: Girls: Your character looks like this((without armor obviously)):

Sigma 777 glanced down nervously at the planet growing nearer below him. Once the Acclamator-class assault ship had neared the planet, a dropship was sent down planetside. Fear gripped him, but he swallowed it, he was trained. After all, what harm could a bunch of droids do anyways? The dropship banked downwards and the port and starboard doors opened, and the dusty arid air swept by, converted into breathable air by his helmet. He clanked nervously towards the portside door in the heavy armor, remembering to ask for something lighter, and the dropship suddenly dove downward.
That's my cue.
Glancing around at the three other green-clad Jet troopers, Sigma jumped down towards the red planet that would change his life.
((allright, wer're starting off. Remember, don't use your abilities yet, you don't have them programmed yet, and also, remember, if youre template is the same, you're with others of that same template, so marksmen with marksmen etc. Remember, hurry up and fix your bios, because the second mission is close to come.))

Theta 231 sat in the LAAT's cockpit, and made the familiar descent that would be with all his fellow pilots. His fingers flew the craft downward, as the planet grew larger and larger. He had a co-pilot, Theta 251, sitting beside him, calmly manning the dorsal guns and checking speeds and velocities.
"How come I have a bad feeling about this?" Theta 231 stated.
"Silence! Get over your paranoia sir! We need to keep a level head if we are to succeed." Theta 251 responded.
"Yea, but there's droids out there."
"So? You job is to fly this craft and drop those troopers off, then form back up. You don't have to even encounter the droids."
"I don't think you understand. There's lots of droids out there. They have guns."
"So? What's the worse that could happen?"
"We can die."
"Other than that."
"We can crash, burn up, and come out in a lot of pain."
Theta 251 quit pursuing the issue. Theta 231 continued his descent, as he noticed the forward command center coming up. Soon, he'd drop off these poor souls who got stuck jumping out of a perfectly good LAAT, and he'd be on his way to somewhere else.

Sigma's jetpack thrust on and slowed his descent downard. Suprisingly, it wasn't as creepy as he had expected, he had used the jetpack so many times, just never in such a grim situation.
"Yeeha!" he exclaimed as he glanced around him, seeing eleven more clones descending. He laughed inside his helmet, picturing the queazy faces most of them must have been making. Only when his feet touched down on the red soil of Geonosis did Sigma realize that this was the first time he had ever set foot on an organic planet. The facilities on Kamino were synthetic, that is, they were built by the Quermians that colonized the planet so long ago, and the water was too violent to ever consider swimming in, save for the specialized AQUAtroopers. He stiffled around in the dirt a little bit, seemingly the only clone that had realized this so far. The JetTroopers' mission was a simple one, they were the advanced party. They were to scout the area, both on land and airborne, and then notify the other troops of the situation. Then, after the rest of the forces landed, they were to contribute to the battle.
Sigma reached over to his backpack and unslung the EMP missle-launcher. He actually hated using the weapon, it was inaccurate, heavy, and unwieldy. He was better off using blaster rifles when he was younger, but for some reason he was selected to use the EMP. Unbeknownst to his Kaminoid overseers, Sigma had snuck into the weapon stores and stolen an E-11 that he had hidden in a compartment under his jet-pack. Rifles were much more accurate and easier to wield, and if an enemy got too close to you, you could always give them a crack in the noggin with it.
Sigma turned around to his superior officer, a female clone named Psi 32 who was well reknowned around the Kamino facilities. She was an extremely talented jet trooper who had refused to wear the green markings of a Jet trooper and demanded her own custom suit. The Kaminoids agreed, on the candition that she exceed every ranking officer above her, which she did, but she denied the promotion to General. Instead, she dubbed herself "Sara" and marked her armor with purple instead of green.
"How far until we jump, Sara?" Sigma asked aiming the EMP at a mountain face in the horizon.
"We'll have to get over to the mountain," she said, pointing at the same Mountain the EMP was aimed at, "and then we'll have to jump. Oh, and Sigma, can you put the EMP away? You're gonna blow off my hand and mess up everyone's armor!"
Sigma chuckled and slung the EMP launcher back over his shoulder.
"Let's go then!" he annoucned, and ran off into the distance.

ARC Trooper Gamma 204 was in another LAAT gunship, with his mask off. He was eating something from a small box. The trooper next to him, Gamma 233, was working on his blaster. "What''s that you''re eating?", said 233.
Gamma simply said, "Control."
The ship landed and Gamma 204 jumped down, blaster in hand.
"Mission beginning now."

Omega sat on the ground. He was reclabrating his blaster.
" Heh....this might give it alittle more juice. "
He picked up the souped up heavy blaster with ease and slung it over his shoulder. Omaga looked around. The wreckage was bad. He was kinda surrprized he lived. The pilots helm blew out and there was nothing they could do. His brothers dead, he had dug there graves and hung there blasters. He felt no pain....only the need to avenge them. He gatherd his things and moved out.
" War waits on no clone..... "
He activated his homing becon and walked on.
" Man....i wish i had a nice glass of 6.oz of water right now. I have never felt this kinda heat befor...."

((Oryo...i just told you the battle hasn't started yet, so you have no fallen comrades))
Sigma continued with his hop, skip, jump, jet, pattern until he reached the mountain face far ahead of Psi. He heard the sounds of blasters firing and the thrum of lightsabers swinging to save their masters.
"SARA!! Hurry up!! There's Jedi dying up there!!!"
In less than a minute, the group was there.
Following Psi's lead, Sigma jumped up and activated his thrusters, flying over the Colosseum. His face contorted within his maska t the horrific sight. Battle droids were continously emerging from trapdoors at the sides of the arena, and the Jedi were backed into a tight circle to keep from dying. Still, the droids continued their assault mercilessly.
"Oh..sweet...Sunrider..." Sigma muttered in his helmet
"I hope the marksmen are in position..." Sara said, with just a twinge of dismay in her voice.
Sigma banked downward to the tops of the mountain face. There, just like they were supposed to be, were the marksmen, flat on their stomachs,. Giving a thumbs up, Sigma joined the rest of his unit, in a high hover, just behind the mountain face, so that they wouldn't be spotted.
"This is Captain Sara, marksmen and Jets in position. You can unload the rest of us now, Master Yoda."
((allright, the Marksmen can start their stories now, you guys are sniping from the mountain face. All other troops can drop also, and the battle is on!))

Gamma yelled out to his fellow troops.
"Okay! We take the droids from the south-west, all right? I SAID, ALL RIGHT!" He turned around and saw his dropship rapidly fleeing from geonosis, but 233 jumping out, last minute.
"Cowards! You are all bantha fodder!!" He said.
Gamma hesitated and said, "just you and me".
233 said. "there are other troops close by. Lets catch up to them."
Gamma replied. "100 troops are better than 2."

Theta 231 flew onward, his destination simple: the colloseum. It loomed over the horizon, as the group of LAATs flew onward.
"I think one of our troopers is a spy. How else would the CIS know we were coming?"
"Oh will you give it a rest? They don't know we were coming! Now shut up and fly."
The colloseum grew larger, until the LAAT flew closer, until the pilots could see into it. Theta 231 angled sharply down, as the bubble turrets began firing at the battle droids in the arena.
The craft plunged downward, and stopped a meter off the ground.
"Around the survivors, a perimeter create!" a small voice shouted from behind, as Theta recognised the miniscule jump of the LAAT as troopers jumped out.
"How come I have the feeling you'll be the death of me? These jedi are going to get us killed!" Theta asked over the com.
"Will you be quiet! You're in a LAAT. They can't pierce the armor that fast with a simple hand blaster! Now get us out of here!"
The craft rose, as it took off out of the arena.
"That was too close." Theta 231 remarked to himself.
"We didn't even get a scratch." Theta 251 rebutted.

Gamma saw a droideka looking another way and decided to seize the opportunity. He blasted a few times at the head and the droideka fell like a rock. Suddenly hundreds of droids surrounded the gammas. Gamma 204 called on his communicator.
"We need backup! It's 300-2 here!! Just help!" Gamma pressed his back against 233 and they started rotating around looking at all of the droids.

Walking up to the colosseum, Omaga could hear blaster fire.
" AWWW IM MISSING THE FIGHT!!!! How the hell do i get in?"
Looking around he saw a droid ridding a STAP. He aimed and blasted the droid off. Running to the STAP he saw he blasted more then the droid.
" Crap.....Well it still works. "
Getting on was hard. He didnt really know how to use the thing. He started off slow, then sped up.
" HELL YEA......"
Omega flew off from hitting a rock. He tumbled and layed there for a moment. After grumbling for a moment, he got up and tryed again. Taking off he pulled higher and got going to the battle front.

" We need backup! It's 300-2 here!! Just help!"
" I wounder....."
Still not clear of the colosseum, he turned slowly back. He saw many droids and other things he had only seen in simulations. Looking around he saw two troopers surrounded. He jetted it and leaning forward he locked the controles and held out both hands.
" HEY GRAB ON!!!! I hope they see me."
Omaga rushed up to the to, moving fast.
