Entei walked along the beaten path, that he had merely discovered hours ago. Curious as to where it would lead, pushed him to continue further then he had ventured before. Scanning the horizon, hoping to find something he could recognize, he was met with unfamiliar scenery. Taking a pause from his walk, he took the time to catch his breathe.
He then heard gentle rustling of rushing water. It sounded a little far off... but then again he was pretty thirsty from the trip so far. Mentally marking the area he left following the sound of the water. He soon reached the water and began to drink the cool water. Feeling more relaxed he surveyed the area for any predators in the area.
Feeling secure, he gently pawed at the water and entered the stream. Pausing for last glance, and a quick paw at the water, to see how shallow the water was he dunked right in. After a few brief dunks he shook the excess water off and moved back on to the land, feeling rather refreshed.

Tooki came charging through the water, splashing a trail where he ran. He'd been visiting with his father up the stream where it widened. He almost didn't notice the other soquili, skidding to a halt. "Woah!!!!"

The sudden noise caused him to spook, he danced spinning himself around towards the source. He quickly calmed down at the sight of the other Soquili, racing through the water. Then the newcomer seemed to notice him and halted.
"Greetings" he called out, noting the unique shades of color and pattern. 'What a distinct fellow' he pondered to himself. He then eagerly awaited a reply.

"Hi, there! What are you?" Tooki looked at him, tilting his head slightly. He stamped his feet a little, splashing more water. "Who are you? I'm Tooki!"

'What a firendly fellow' he though to himself 'at least it would give him more of a break from the hike.' He smiled in amusement at this stallions playful nature.
'What am I?' He took a moment before he answered "I'm the same as you"t the other stallion " Tooki, that's an interesting name, my name is Entei" he paused before continuing on "what brings you here?"

"I was visiting my father. He lives in the water, but can come out for a little while," Tooki told the strange stalion. He motioned with his head to further past Entei. "I thought I might go romp around the flowers that are over there."
He paused a moment, glancing where he'd indicated. He crossed his eyes a moment, then shook his head and chuckled at the other. "At least...I think they are that way. I get turned around a lot."

"He lives in the water" he gave a shocked expression. "What kind is he?" He looked to where the stallion was motioning. "Mind if I join you?" he asked wanting to know more about this stallion.
"That's perfectly alright" he joined in the laughter "I tend to do that quite often" he grinned at the other stallion"There is that saying it's the journey not the end that matters... or something like that."

"Or...a journey with good company?" Tooki asked, walking toward where the flowers should be. "Yeah, my dad lives in the water. He's a kelpi...that means he's a fishy soquili. I go and visit with him, since he really cant visit us."

"A Kelpi" he looked at him with a slightly shocked expresion on his face "Please tell me more about them...I've heard so little about them." He continued his pace with Tooki. "So he can't leave the water for a long amount..." he puzzled over what this stallions father must have looked like... 'A fishy Soquili...did he have scales and fins like the fish?' he kept on pondering.
