First things first...
Hey all i am a new member here and i want to say hello!
Okay here it is i am a christian and i have been since i was 9 well things in my life as of late havnt been good at all and idk what to do. For the longest time i was blaming god and getting mad at him and i was told not to be mad at him that, that isent the way. So my depression took over and well i started cutting myself and trying to die. I know you go to hell if you kill yourself but what happens from cutting? am i doomed or what?

You're definetely not condemned to hell for cutting yourself. You're also not condemned to hell for being homosexual. However, if you want to be a Christian you must hate that lifestyle and turn your back on it forever. Sure you'll mess up, but if you're a Christian you won't like it.

dont wrry i have went through the same stuff. heres the way i see it: life is like a room, and in the middle of the room there is God, emanating a light. a lot of times we as Christians are curious as to what is in the darkness (temptation) and we stray a bit from the light but can still see it. sometimes we tend to stray too much, however, and find ourselves lost in the shadows, stumbling and falling. the cool part is that God is just where he started, all you have to do is follow the light back to him. he never leaves us, no matter how far we stray

Paulkee You're definetely not condemned to hell for cutting yourself. You're also not condemned to hell for being homosexual. However, if you want to be a Christian you must hate that lifestyle and turn your back on it forever. Sure you'll mess up, but if you're a Christian you won't like it. First of all, I must point this out cuz SOOOOOO many people confuse the two...you are to hate the LIFESTYLE, as in flee from being a part of the sin, NOT hate the people that choose such lifestyle. In fact, in my mind anyway, I find that you should love those people even MORE than everyone else because it's through love that God reaches out to people, and we should try to do the same. And secondly, I have NO CLUE where you learned that killing yourself meant Hell but that's a lie. Only God knows your heart, can see whether you really love Him or not. People who say killing yourself means not trusting God so you must go to Hell are hypocrites cuz EVERYONE doubts God at least a little every now and then. I personally believe that you don't go straight to Hell for killing yourself, that if you truly love God and all you might end up in Heaven. Like I said, only God knows your heart, and only He can judge where you go if you commit suicide. NOWHERE in the Bible have I seen it say "Thou shalt go to Hell if you commit suicide." You can look all you want for that quote, but it's not there. Not only that, but there's also only one sin that is "unforgivable," blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, claiming that God isn't there and that Jesus didn't die for us, etc. So on that basis, you'd be FORGIVEN for committing suicide if you ask God to forgive you at the gates...just...arg...I hate it when people say that. And btw, you're not doomed.

gayruto your body is a temple of god anf d it is a sin to cut but if you ask for forgivenss then he will forgive you. um, sorry if this comes out wrong, but please be more specific here, Yes if you ask for forgiveness, you will recieve it, BUT only if you truly mean sorry in your heart, a simple 'forgive me God' wont do anything, it must be a true, heartfelt apology and you must truly wish to repent of your wrong-doing in order to recieve forgivness.

I pray all the time and try to make my life better but it never seems to change and its really hard for me. I want to just die already. if god loves me so much then why is he making my life so hard...
And i am begining to believe that there are people put here just to teach others a lesson and i am one of those people. For an example if i kill myself then others will see how much it hurts and maybe it will save a life of two... Idk what to do my LIFE IS SO F-ED UP!

I think Satan is playing some serious mind games in your head. Stop believing that your death needs to make a difference. It's your life that needs to make the difference. Step away from the world totally and stop listening to what people call "reality" and "science". It's mostly just lies that Satan has made up to fool people into not living for God. Go to Jesus. Learn about him. Love him, and enter a full relationship with him.
