Demi hummed happily as he sat in the park coloring in a coloring book his mother had handed him just a little while ago, lately his mother was a little more accepting of leaving him with someone else, but usually it was only Bunji or Edna as Fate was a very overprotective mother.

Said fox was sitting over on another park bench looking around for any signs of danger and making sure Kazie wasn't blowing anything up with those firecrackers he found in his grandpa's room... Lianme was a bad influence on his grandbrat.

Rei strode under the shade of the trees, feeling a bit nervous not being in the sun. But, she couldn't help but walk there, as the flowers surrounding the path made it her favorite entrance to the park. Emerging from teh shadows, she spread her arms to welcome the sun that shone over her and spun around.
"Erianthe! Evzen! Come on, let's play!" She ran ahead of them, towards where she remembered the swings being.

Evzen groaned. Being the only adult that was free(Furiae had been busy with Ewon and their silly owner had run off somewhere with her hyperactive BlueBlue.), he had been forced to take Rei and Erianthe to the park, since they 'would manage to get hurt.'

"Go, it'll be good for you to get out of the house." Blue had said to him while the held the hand of the little orange fox. "Besides, if you don't do this, I'll hide all of the hot chocolate in the house."

"She just had to blackmail me with the hot chocolate." He groaned out loud, and felt a small pressure on his hand.

"I h-hid a few p-packages, in c-case Blue ever d-did hide the o-other ones." Erianthe said softly, look at the green fox.

He smiled down at her, feeling a bit of admiration for the bi-colored kitten, and opened his mouth to say something when-

"Bunji!" Rei called, having learned the fox's name from an earlier visit to his residence. She skipped toward him, enjoying finding a familiar face, before plopping on the bench next to him. "Long time, no see."

Erianthe giggled nervously while Evzen slapped his forehead in exasperation.

Demi peered up as Kazie crashed down from the tree he had been hiding in. "Jeeze chick you're loud." He groaned at her as Demi giggled in response to the other cat's irritation but quickly spoke up.

"That's not nice Kazie." He reprimanded as the trouble maker sneered at him in response.

"And you are?" Bunji didn't quite recognize Rei since she had grown and he wasn't the most 'child-frenziedly' so he rarely remembered children... well, other than Demi, but Demi had been persistent in his quest to socialize Bunji.

Rei stood up quickly feeling a bit embarrassed, and glanced over her shoulder so that she could respond.

"I'm Rei, nobody noteworthy." She murmured, feeling awkward. "I'm sorry, excuse me." She rushed away, grabbing Erianthe's hand, and pulled the little girl in the direction of the swings, all though she slowed down her pace so the kitten could keep up.

Evzen glared at the dog as she pulled away the only one in the house he tolerated, and, with a huff, sat in front of the nearest tree, feeling annoyed. He wasn't tired though, and instead chose to watch those in the park. His gaze traveled from the older fox Rei had spoken with, before moving to teh two kids who he seemed to be watching. He glared slightly.

Kids... Evzen wasn't too fond of them; his exposure to BlueBlue, the emotional tornado, had destroyed his opinion of them.

Bunji grumbled knowing he had made a mistake by saying he didn't know her but he couldn't remember who the girl was for the life of him... He looked over to Kazie who was smiling at him for being such a arsehole as the little one oh so eloquently spouted off and frowned watching as Demi began to approach the other older fox.

Demi smiled and approached Evzen wanting to make friends. "Hello there, I'm Demi! You are?" He was thankfully not as shy as his mother and father.

Once they reached the woodchipped area where the swings were, Rei let go of the kitten's hand and sprinted to the rubber swings. She flew into the one and begun swinging her legs, trying to swing as high as possible.

"Come on, Eri~! Don't you want to swing?" She called to the frightened cat, who stood, shaking slightly, at the edge of the swing area.

"I-I'd rather not." She stuttered, watching the unsafe movements of the older one.

Evzen looked up at the one speaking to him, and eyed him warily.
"'m name's Evzen. Why do you want to know?" He refrained from glaring, though. As much as he disliked children, he saw no reason to be overly rude. No, that was saved for BlueBlue.

"B-because I wanted to make friends?" Demi asked reluctantly unsure of why the fox seemed to be wary of him and he was hurt even though he really shouldn't be since this was a stranger.
PostPosted: Tue Feb 26, 2008 7:34 pm

"You'd want to be friends with a big ol' fox like me? Why?" Evzen questioned. Strangers usually stayed away from him, for fear of getting their heads bitten off. Usually because of his scowl.

After Rei had had her fill of the swings, and when Erianthe was surely going to pass out if she went any hire, the dog took hold of the little one's hand and pulled her towards the jungle gym, adamant about getting her to play with something.

"Because I want to make lots of friends so I won't be lonely like mommy is sometimes because daddy is his only friend." Demi explained simply with a smile as he tried to sit down next to Evzen. "And I know your daddy!"

"With how bubbly you are, I doubt you'll ever be lonely." Evzen sighed and shook his head, somehow making the compliment seem bad. But, nonetheless, he shifted to the side a little, allowing the fox some room in front of the tree.
"And, my dad?" He continued, quirking an eyebrow. "I haven't seen him in forever; I hardly even remember him."

"Lianme is too busy being depressed because your other daddy doesn't love him." Demi frowned at the thought; it would be sad not to be loved by someone you truly loved. "They fight alot, and Lianme has to help Lazuli too cause she had a baby."
PostPosted: Tue Feb 26, 2008 8:01 pm

Evzen snorted.
"Hmph, love is just silly. People just use love as an excuse to act like idiots." He crossed his arms over his chest. "And I heard about the baby." He grimaced. After a lot of other people.

"L-love isn't silly! Mommy said falling in love was the best thing to happen to you." Demi protested with a frown, this one seemed so grumpy!

Evzen could think of a million retorts in response, but decided against all of them; there was no point in trying to go against the little one's beliefs.

"What ever you say, kid. That may be true; and it may not. I, for one, don't believe it to be true, because I never have experienced it for myself, and never will."

"Never say never, you don't know what tomorrow will bring." Demi shook his head, the smile never leaving his innocent face.
