 As Mahavir carried himself along through the tangle of branches and leaves, he glanced up to the sky in time to see the sun begin to slip back over the horizon. Oh no, it's getting dark already? Mahavir muttered to himself, growing worried. Just that morning he'd left the area he'd been staying in for a week or so to look for someplace new. There was a thin forest at the edge of the land and Mahavir chose to wander through it. But now the growth was much thicker and made it difficult for him to see the ground.
Up ahead, Mahavir thought he could hear the sound of water. But it was so faint he paid no mind to it. That was until he stepped into a little, murky stream. "Oh! This is just great!" He muttered, trying to free his hooves from the muddy bottom.

The glowering eyes were staring straight ahead of him.. Failing to even care about where he was going. He was on the move, but he seemed to be stalking. He knew of nothing in particular that he would be stalking.. But he was enjoying it none the less. He felt strong..
Who was he kidding.. He was insanely strong.. Insanely evil.. And insanely out of his head.
He tormented, before he brought pain.. He'd drive you crazy and there's nothing you could do bout it.
Oh but he was happy with his knowledge.
He dropped the remains of the rabbit from his mouth. He had been carrying it, stopping only briefly every so often to take another nibble.
But the rabbit had lost his flavor, so he dropped its broken lifeless body back to the forest floor.

Mahavir became startled and stopped his attempts to free him hooves when he heard a thump. The sound was fairly quiet and far off, but in these eerie surroundings Mahavir's mind blew every little noise out of proportion. In his mind, that thump could be anything...
With a large gulp Mahavir returned to the task of freeing his hooves. They were mostly free, but having to walk through the same mud he was stuck in to get back to the land wasn't helpful.
Just what I need... he whispered.
