first off, im not making this post just for Emily Rose's story but for any other stories of other exorcist, the sighs, the beliefs, and all that go with the topic of demonic spirits exorcism.
yesterday, me and some friends got lucky and got free passes to a free showing of The Exorcism of Emily Rose. it doesn't come out for another week or two. so it was really awsome to be able to see this film. for the last month i've seen trailors and commericals for the movie and i was very excited. yet i didn't know what i'd be expecting from this film. what i'll tell you that they made this movie more realistic. no green face girl who's head that spins around and projecting vomiting. this movie left me curled up in my seat, watching with wide eyes, trying to take it all in. this movie is so freakin awsome. especially compared to the Exorcist (which in my opinion was a horrible and unscary movie). but after the film, me and my friends talked about whether we believe in such things. no one really answered their thoughts because we were all spooked and wanted to joke around to calm ourselves down. but thinking it over now, i can't help but fully feel that i do believe that such events like this are true. that they actually do happen to real people all over the world. if you're interested in about the movie and/or just interested to read about such events, go here: The Exorcism of Emily Rose
so tell all here. have you heard stories of such things actually happening to someone? what are your beliefs on demonic possessions and on exorcism? i know it's odd (or at least to me) that tho im not a very religious person and right now im an agnostic, but i really believe in this stuff. it's too scary to ignore and not to believe in. or something. i don't know why i believe.... i'll think it over and repost them once i think it through. so come all! discuss all things of possesions and/or exorcism

in the philippines.i heard some people there sometimes gets possessed by something and stuff.i can't really remember what happened but yeah...i beleive in it... smile

redface im having a pain of a time finding decent sites on this topic. i can't think of any good words to use to get a good site search result. anyone have any ideas???
the more stuff i read, the more harder it is to not believe that this isn't true. there's just some strong knowledge there about this. it's not silly as some other supernatural events. part of me would like to see an exorcism but then i don't. i could open myself to get possessed myself. if i have secrets or weaknesses that aren't known to others, then im at risk. not just of getting possessed, but the one who is possessed can shout out my secrets that in no way that the actual person could actually know. it's really crazy. but i do believe it. im so fasinated by it all but also really scared about it. i just hope that this never happens to me or anyone i know or love

I belive in aliens and i belive in spirit too, never saw some but i still belive it, there probably some person that got posesse that i didnt heard about

I think they just look like normal people surprised so we cant tell surprised ... but like they are smarter and stuff then us... and have powers and stuff..... I think they just think of our world as living in the country sweatdrop

im curious, why are people so freaked out about the Exorcist so much? i mean... it didn't scare me one bit but there's tons of people who are terrifyed by that movie and im just curious why something so unrealistic is scary. tell all 3nodding

i've known one and i've seen one when i was a 9 (or 10) .. and i didn't really think it was true or any effective at all.. it's just llke a stage drama with overacting casts. and i didn't find it creepy or anything, it was rather funny. rolleyes
