Kiun flitted though the sky, up and down, and up and down again. Bursting through a cloud, he looked down and saw the swampy marsh where he had met the love of his life, Marie. He smiled fondly, and continued on. He had been planning to go see Marie for a couple days, but he had wanted to make it special. He had been searching for the perfect gift.
And still, he hadn't found it. Perhapes he would find it in the forest down there...
He spiraled down to the ground, being careful not to go down too fast. Landing softly in a clearing studded with wild mushrooms, he looked around. Kiun was a little suprised as he saw that this was the clearing where he had met Marie many times before. He cocked his head, wondering why fate had led him here today.
Streaching a little, he wondered if Marie would come there today. Often he had seen her here. He wanted to find the perfect gift for her though, so he set out in search of it in the forest.
Setting; Forest just west of the marshland. Nearby is a lake, and a little farther on there is a small mountain range.

Marie looked radiant this particular day, she had managed to wave a few flower petals into her mane, although they fell out as she walked through the forest. She was almost tearing in happiness as she got to the clearing and spotted kiun. "She fixed her appearance, she had met with Kiun many times before. He was her best friend and most beloved companion. "Kiun!" She said as she galloped toward him and nuzzled him as she stopped. "

Kiun whirled around, and spotting Marie, let out a joyful whinny. He nuzzled her back and said, "Well Marie, its indeed a pleasure to see you here!" He stepped back and admired the flower petals, though they seemed to be falling out. He reached forward and caught one delicate petal in his mouth. He grinned, then nestled it back into Marie's mane. "Milady, your petals seem to be shedding" He said with a wink.

Marie blushed and smiled. "Whatever shall I do about these petals?" She said smiling as well, she was used to these situations by now. She cherished these moments with Kiun. She swished her tail playfully and nuzzled him yet again, she was so excited he was here.

Kiun grinned, and replied, "Oh, I think I know" He winked, and deftly snatched a few flowers from the ground. He wove the stems into Marie's mane, so they stayed in a little better. He laughed, and said, "Milady, you are as radient as the summer sun" He bowed, and swished his tail in amusment.

Marie's smile transforred into a grin as the stems were weaved into her hair. "M'lord, you shine as bright as the stars." She bowed in sync. with him flicked her ear in happiness.

Kiun laughed as he heard the M'lord part. He grinned and said, "Well then, if I am a lord, then you are indeed the Queen that I fawn upon." He winked, enjoying the exchange between them. He chuckled a bit, it was indeed a pleasure to be out and about with the one you love.

Marie was loving every moment of this, she giggled in excitement. "Well then, If I am a queen , I must tell our kingdom our love..." She winked and nuzzled him again. After the nuzzle, she rested her head on his back. She let out a small but a relieving sigh.

Kiun's mouth twisted up into a wry grin. Though he was a very teenager type of soquili, he enjoyed these lovey dovey moments with Marie. It was good to know that someone loved him for who he was, not because he was dashingly handsome; Though that helped.
He was being vain, and he knew it, but didn't everyone want to show off once in a while? He turned his head, looking at Marie. A butterfly fluttered above, and all around he could hear the drip drip of the last bits of snow. It was good to know spring had come.
Swinging his thoughts back to the current time, he said playfully, "Well, I certainly hope there are no subjects in this kingdom of love, for I might have to compete with them for the Queen's affection."

"I certainly hope that aswell~" She said closing her eyes and letting her head still remain resting on him. A small breeze blew, making her hair sway slightly in the direction of the wind. Marie wanted to remain there forever, but the fun loving Kiun wouldnt permit her to stay without having fun, nope.
She looked up and lifted her head, she nuzzled him on the side of the face and asked. "What do you seek to do today, dear~"

Kiun sighed, a little smile on his lips. He replied, "Well, I was looking for a gift for you, but it aluded me once again." The smile took on a bit of saddness, as he had wanted to find something very special for Marie. He tilted his head a bit, wondering what they could do today that would provide some fun.

Marie smiled. "Really? That's so sweet Kiun!" Her cheeks flushed with pink. Meanwhile she thought of something amazing, it had to top everything they had done and enjoyed with each other. She instantly thought of going back swimming, but that was already outdated with them. "Hmmm..." She said un-conciouisly as she thought hard about what exactly she wanted to do, she thought of taking him to someplace special she had been many times, but she wasnt sure if he'd enjoy the long journey there.

Kiun smiled, and the old cliche 'its the thought that counts' came into effect. Though he would have liked to find a wonderful gift for Marie, he knew that she was happy because he had tried. He nuzzled her, and said, "So, do you have any idea's of where we should go today, or what we should do?" He streached his wings, full of energy.

Marie'sface pulled into a grin. "Let's go to the clover fields!" She wags her tail in delight a few times. "It'll be fun, we can find something lucky there too!" She nodded again not knowing how excited and un-ladylike she looked.

Kiun cocked his head curiously, he had heard of the clover fields, but had never actually been there. He nodded slowly, and said, "Clover fields huh? Sounds like fun to me!" He grinned and swished his tail playfully.
