Oh yeah, and Dream Theater. Pfft, ******** Dream Theater.
OPETH. Coming to my town in May and probably yours soon. I'm looking at ticket prices, they are ridiculous because of ******** Dream Theater. You can pay $300 a head and meet them, but why the ******** would you want to do that?
if I buy somewhat closer tickets, I'm going to be all the way on the left side of the stage. Dammit. Oh yeah and if you're having trouble finding the show on Ticketbastard, it's under Dream Theater or "Progressive Nation."
Anyways. No matter how it happens, I'm seeing this show. You should too.
Oh yeah- OPETHOPETHOPETHOPETH!
Who's going?

After seeing a crowd of people chanting "Lamb of God" during an Opeth set in Vegas, I vowed never to watch them in front of a dumbshit American audience again...

Australia is so ********.. Outsiderlike. We don't get any good bands, and when we do; they're either in stupid places or they're 18+.

Nonetheless, I hate seeing a great band go totally unappreciated.

Volvy After seeing a crowd of people chanting "Lamb of God" during an Opeth set in Vegas, I vowed never to watch them in front of a dumbshit American audience again... If you're talking about Gigantour, the crowd didn't do that here. We were silent and swooning when they played slow and screamed when they played fast, just as it should be. I guess Chicago has more of an appreciation for Opeth? The whole of America is not retarded, it just depends on where you go. But Lamb of God really did play an amazing set, at least the one I saw. Besides, they're American, it's pretty natural that they're going to get a better response in America than somebody outside the country would. I'd love to see any concert outside the US, especially in a band's home country and hometown, too bad I have no funds for travel time.

Maybe it's just Vegas, but Scandy bands don't seem to get the reaction the should there. LoG was fine, but I've seen them twice and I tend to think their live show is a bit overrated personally.

I judged Opeth without listening to them. Because every person I meet who likes them loves Slipknot and I hate that band. But if you think they're good, I might give them a listen.
