Camille was wandering, as usual. Not only that, but the lithe little femme was bored out of her mind! Nothing interesting ever went on when she was by herself, ever. Once in a while she had to hunt. That was halfway entertaining, if it wasn't something she had to do to survive. The best thrill of that was when game tripped and made things all the more easy because of its own balance problems. Hah.

Not that she wanted company either. Constant company got boring too, and most other wolves were just plain dull. Huh, even the scent of that one nearby was dull.

Wait.

There was a wolf nearby!

Immediately Cammile went into stealth mode, prowling downwind toward the source of the new scent. A male! Well, that might be halfway entertaining, for a moment. As she approached, she could make out his figure through the sticks and brush just beginning to fill out for spring. Not an ounce of shyness in this girl, she strode right up to the male and practically stabbed him in the shoulder with her muzzle, attempting to give a solid push with her little frame.

"Hey! What're you doing here, greenie?"

"Kato Greenie." Camille agreed with a grin. No, she wasn't stupid in the slightest, she was making an attempt at entertaining herself. The pretty striped femme practically required constant input.

Head tilted back as the larger male stood, practically towering over her. The female was long legged for her size, but she was rather small and that little advantage only made her fast and lean, not tall. "Dude." She grinned, enjoying the unusual size of the other. That was a little neat! "You could step on my head if you wanted to." Completely ignoring his question for the time being. The hell did anyone need to know why she was anywhere for, anyway? Camille wandered whither she pleased.

"What," she asked a little defensively, "Did I bruise your gentlemanlyness with my pretty little narrow muzzle?" She felt like he was hitting on her already, calling her lovely without even knowing her name! Silly green thing he was.

Camille snorted. Good conversation indeed. Now he was pretty much eye level, and her awe sorted itself out and finally ceased to exist. She supposed it was the polite thing to do, but it wasn't at all unusual. What a shame! There had been potential. The little femme now came face to face with green and unusual markings. Tiger stripes wrinkled up as she crinkled her muzzle a bit. "Sure, I'd probably be so kind." More typical pleasantries. Still, she was going to draw this out, get something out of some intelligible interaction. In the meantime, there was a long, uncomfortable pause between her statement and the actual reciting of her name.

"Its Camille."

The tiger femme couldn't help it, she actually made a gagging face at this male and narrowed her eyes. It was too much, the 'miss Camille'. She was going along with it until right then. The bow was just extra motivation to be disgusted. Of course, she did have to hold back laughter at the leaf that had so perfectly fallen onto his face. It seemed strangely appropriate for the situation.

"Why, because it just rings with musical beauty?" Acid tone, sarcastic girl. She wasn't awed by the height anymore, it didn't take long for her to get used to physical things about wolves that weren't totally off the wall, like missing parts. And personality deviations were even more fun than that, and Kato seemed to have no flaws in his gentlemanly demeanor.

"I'm friendly when I have reason to be or an interest," Striped legs straightened, stiffening, giving little Camille a little more height, "But I see now those thoughts may have been misplaced, you're rather predictable, greenie. The tall lean gentleman. How general." The femme stuck out her tongue and folded her ears back.

Camille's expression swapped to a deep scowl and she raised her nose into the air, absolutely discontent with this male now. His assumptions of her were ludicrous, first of all. Her father had picked out her name, and she wouldn't be snippy if he were keeping her happy and not annoyed. How dare he go from gentlemanly to insulting! It was a coup, she knew. A trick to keep her from wandering away. Hah.

The tiger striped girl wasn't all that young either, not that Kato would know. She didn't show age much, being that she was on the smaller side of things. "Well if you don't keep my attention, you won't ever know more than that, will you?" Hah. Lavender stripes turned and she began off in the opposite direction, away from him. Nevermind that he was the only wolf she'd come across in quite some time, Camille just didn't have the patience for being called standard. Ever. It was almost the most cutting insult she could think of, and hell if the female was going to tolerate it.

"Good," the Tiger hissed under her breath, "don't follow me."

"The hell do I care what you're looking for?" She turned, glancing over her shoulder to shout at his back. "Kind to me and then insulting. Turn your back on me like you expect a poor little femme to follow you. Tch. And assume you know me. You want a friend? Work for one." And she was back to walking away from him, liesurely strolling opposite the river even though all this conversation had made her thirsty. She could find another stream, no problem. After all, she was Camille, adaptive, unusual Camille. No need to use the same drinking source as this fumbling green male.
