Waht is the olderst book you have read? for me, it's Don Quixote, written in the 15-16th century (? can't locate my copy at the moment)

Well, I'm reading The Tale Of Genji right now, which was written around 1000 A.D. (or C.E., for you modern people). It's commonly called the world's first novel.

The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. I know it's not that old, but it's the oldest book I have read so far.

Blade-Bearer Ian SnowMaiden The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. I know it's not that old, but it's the oldest book I have read so far. I remeber watching the movie...that was so cheesy xp I haven't seen the movie yet, but if it's cheesy I won't see it.

well, the oldest I own is a 1929 copy of H.W. Longfellow's Tales of a Wayside Inn. not really certain of the oldest in terms of when it was written...
