It's coming out for PC and it looks like a game that my poor old computer could actually run. xd

Talking of poor old computers, I'm sad: I can't play Pharaoh or Sims2 at the moment. Sims because my video card isn't clever anough (it's pretty old) and the one I ordered never came, then when I chased it up, the company told me they couldn't get hold of it and weren't going to try. Pharaoh I have no idea what went wrong: I hadn't played in over a year, it worked fine the first time I opened it after that long break, then a few days after that, it died and just doesn't play.

It's the computers. They're conspiring against us with their inconsistant performance. ninja

So, Super paper mario with a loer graphic level (Sort of) and a more free range of shifting.

But Paper Mario really dumb, because the Mario series already went from 2D to 3D. They shouldn't be making 2D Mario games, they should continue with games like Super Mario Galaxy.

This thing is really cool. When does it come out. It'll burn my brain cells for hours [drool].

You say that as though Series need to move forward in the 2D to 3D and never look back.
If that were the case, then we would have missed out on Metroid Fusion, Metroid Zero Mission, Many game series move from 2D to 3D and back to 2D effortlessly as the game in design needs.

Could you see Metroid Prime as a 2D game? (Rhetorical question, MP should be 3D) But then they made Metroid Fusion, and later made metroid Zero Mission, both 2D games. Why is that? (Not a rhetorical question) it's not because they ran out of ideas, It's definitely not that Fusion and ZM were of a lower quality of Metroid games. No, Fusion and prime went hand in hand. and as for Zero Mission, it's 2D graphics were integral to both the game system, the game history, and the way it should have been played.

You seem to think that games have to progress forwards and once they hit 3D should stay that way. well, I'm here to say that the 2D games will never leave, They're too important to the gamers that really care about their games.

Good point wellwisher. 3nodding

Just look at the Castlevania series. Even though it's had several 3D games 2D action platforming is still where it truly shines and the fans love the 2D games that were made for the Nintendo DS.

I have both those DS castlevania games.
There's an art of 2D that 3D cannot master due to 3D's complexity. (Unless it's like SSB where it's 3D graphics but using a 2D plane, but then it's just 2D with better graphics)

I agree. The first Klonoa for Playstation is a really good example of 2D game play in a 3D rendered environment too. It was an awesome game. Too bad none of the sequels really live up to the original game's promise. sweatdrop

I have Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and it rocks! 3nodding

I need to find someone to do a runthrough with.
I did some runthroughs with my super powered Johnathan, and no one was powerful enough.
Now that Other people would be powerful enough, no one else goes on.
