Well, I've browsed through many forums and all I see is: "OMG I love Wing Zero Custom!!!" or "Gundam Seed FTW!!!" In my opinion, the Seed and Gundam Wing series are overrated. I mean, they're alright, but give some props to the older series! Mobile Suit Gundam, 08th MS Team, War in the Pocket, Stardust Memory, ect. I think the older MS are more realistic too, cause I doubt real mechs would be as mobile or powerful as the newer series suggest. Plus, I believe the old series provide a more good ol' military feel to them, instead of unstable teens piloting around unique mechs that are near invincible. Don't worry, I'm not flaming the newer Gundams or anything, this is merley my opinion. (Did I type too much?)

Lol I see what you mean, but at the same time Wing/Seed and 00 are the only shows I've seen. I get noo other gundam cry + Heero is way cool! >.< its neat to think ppl remotely our age would be given such responsibility and have such skill...its weird, but its how it works for me.

Well i can see where your coming from on this rose. although the newer gundam series are set in the future when things like that may actually be possible. but thats not the point here. yes the wing and seed series are overrated but the only reason for that is the wing series came out before the MS series on toonami so when people actually saw the MS series they didnt like it. i think toonami should have shown the series in order so people would have been able to watch it all in order. and before anyone brings it up the creators of gundam wing did not mean to have the pretty boys as the main characters. i actually saw an interview with the creator of gundam wing and he hates that that happened. i cant remember exactly where i saw it though.

Yes, I think that's the exact reason why more people like those series, they haven't seen the older ones, and when some of the mdo, they don't really care or want to know about it and just stick with the new stuff. It's kinda dissappointing really.

I give you the reason. Why use an angst-ridden boy as a pilot when you have vets like Monsha and South Burning?

I'd reccoment you see them whenever you can. I really enjoy them, 08th MS Team being my favorite, aside from War in the Pocket.

I'm not sure f one that has all of them, but youtube has a few clips. Try searching on stage6.com. I got the whole Hellsing anime there, they might have Gundam. I never checked though.
