I know it's really early, but just wanted to be first!
Guest Stars: Sam Jones III (Pete Ross)
Pete's stretching ability comes from meteor-laced chewing gum.
Finally, it will say who the hero will be in this one.
Pete won't really like the changes that have gone on since he left town. He's surprised to learn that Chloe, Lana, and Lionel all know Clark's secret - and he's especially surprised to find Lionel Luthor hanging out at the Kents' home.
Much like a Season 1 "freak of the week" story, Pete obtains temporary "Elastic Lad"-like stretching powers thanks to something involving meteor rocks. He's using these powers when he saves the lives of Kara and Jimmy.
Part of this episode takes place at a concert. A "muscle-clad henchman," a "roadie," and a "drummer" are currently being cast.

I didn't like this episode that much, sorry to say. Um, well I did like how Peter came back but not his power. And Clark has to save people NOW! I'm growing impatient how he's not doing anything. And I'm really mad at Kara that she doesn't trust her own cousin and lana. whatever. Lex is more evil.

felt like a filler episode, seeing pete didnt make me as happy as expected...
WTF kara? seriously moving in with lex? come on! gonk
ohh and clark should have told kara...

Here are my problems with this episodes. Why hasn't Chloe Changed if Kyrptonite changes people? She is a meteor freak too.
Why doesn't Lana tell Kara THE TRUTH. She felt so hurt when Clark kept lying to her and kept the truth for her. Why would Lana do the same thing to Kara? I blame the producers that one.
My last problem is the world STRIDE plastered everywhere in that episode.

There was a lot I didn't like, besides the lack of Lois.
I love Pete and everything. I think I sqweed a little when I saw Pete and Lana hug. Dunno, I think I am still hoping they might lean towards the comics. Whatever.
Kara/Lex. One, ew, and two ewwww. It better stay platonic is all I'm saying. But you know, if she is moving in that is not a good sign. Just look at Lana. I mean she was actually giving some good advice. Don't be like Lana Kara! Lex is doing a great job being Lex Luthor though. Manipulative and does a great job making her think she can trust him.
Jimmy, I don't like you right now. My neck is going to hurt if you keep running back and forth between the two blondies. You can't blame Kara for not remembering anything. Give her chance would you. I mean how can there be passion if she doesn't stupid remember you. But at the first sign that it might take an effort you run back to Chloe. Not that she is bad or anything but I thought you made your choice. I mean you were snapping photos of her dancing.
I missed you Pete but not this side of you. You know, the parasite crawled into my via neck attitude. But I hope you knocked some sense into Clark. And I am sorry you got a power is the most absurd way.
Why the crap was One Republic playing in a gum factory?! And what is up with the product placement everywhere! I mean I don't think they need Smallville to push Stride.

I'm not blaming Kara. I'm just saying that Lana was saying some constructive stuff from my point of view. If I was Kara I wouldn't trust her. I mean the people who claim to be her family are blatently lying to her. Another way she connects to Lex. Clark lied to him and he is reaping in the rewards by sympathising with her. I still don't get why they just don't bring her to the fortress or give her back her bracelet. The risk is worth it if she gets her memory back. But noooo, they don't want Lex to find out. If Kara remembered everything then she wouldn't go back to Lex obviously.
However right now, she is in the exact place Lex wants her. He has her trust, something Clark doesn't have. This way he gets to find our more about the Kent family while taking Kara under his wing. She trusts him completely because he has done nothing but help her. I mean he got shot in the head for her and what has Clark done so far except lie?

Yay, got to see Smallville!
I loved seeing Pete again, but the product placement was WAY overboard. I mean, you could tell Allison Mack didn't want to say "guess they shouldn't have made the flavor last quite so long...". She almost cringes.
All in all, it just seemed like filler. xp
(Besides the whole Pete coming back and Kara moving in with Lex. But you know... he didn't say yes.)

"its so good to see you" isn't an adequate enough response to someone you haven't seen in 3 years xp
crystal- so i wasnt the only one who noticed that line? those stride people probably paid madd amounts of money to get someone to say that as a line rolleyes

What is the point of hidding the past from Kara!?!? If they tell her the truth, it might spark something in her memory andshe could remember EVERYTHING!
I personally see no point in hidding the truth. It's keeping secrets that made Lana go to Lex, and now its making Kara do the same thing. Stupid Lex just knows how to go to people when they're down and use it for his own selfish reasons.
I'm not sure if he wants Kara so that he can bring back her memory to finally find out the truth about Clark, or if he really does want to help her. After all, she was the one who saved his life after the dam broke. Although it is MUCH more likely that he just wants to use her.
