This was for the sake of Shinny XDD

Anyways.
Have I mentioned I love George Bush.
Not because of his excellent presidential skills -note my sarcasm-
(And if you like George Bush, I'm sorry for this thread, I just really hate him... a lot, but that might just be me.)
Oh no, but because of his quotable moments!
Here are some of my favorite moments:

"For every fatal shooting, there are three nonfatal shootings. And, folks, this is unacceptable in America. It's just unacceptable, and we're going to have to do something about it."

"I'm the master of low expectations."

"I'll be glad to talk about ranching, but I haven't seen the movie. I've heard about it. I hope you go--you know--I hope you get back to the ranch and the farm is what I'm think I'm about to say."

“I am here to make an announcement that this Thursday, ticket counters and airplanes will fly out of Ronald Reagan Airport."

“There’s an old…saying in Tennessee…I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee that says Fool me once…(3 second pause)… Shame on…(4 second pause)…Shame on you….(6 second pause)…Fool me…Can’t get fooled again.”

“The illiteracy level of our children are appalling. “Rarely is the question asked, ‘Is our children learning?”

“Wow! Brazil is big.” after being shown a map of Brazil by Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Brasilia, Brazil, Nov. 6, 2005

Ahhh... I'm a terrible person for finding his mistakes funny.

Well here is a fair well to George Bush, -raises glass- we'll remember you for your quotable moments... thank goodness we're getting a new leader.

So, my question to you penguins is:
Do you have any favorite Bushisms?
Who do you want to win the presidential election?

Myself- I'm a fan of Obama. :3

OH THANK GAWD! A NON ENVIRO THREAD @_________________@; I thought I was gonna die from mental imposions of creativity >.o;;;

Bush.. *giggle* If he ever heard himself speak his own last name I bet he'd find it funny too xDDD

Yeah, I hate him too D: He's an ignorant monkey.. No, monkeys are more intelligent.

I like how Robin Williams put it:

"Once again we look to England for great oratory: Tony Blair-- militant liberal. Over here, here in America, George W. Bush-- Compassionate Conservative. I don't know what that is, really... Kinda sounds like a Volvo with a gun rack, I dunno why."

and

"But after 9/11 Tony said: 'This heinous incident has brought our civilization to the edge of oblivion, but we shall endure.' and here's 'W' going 's**t, I can't even spell that.'"

and...

"Now it doesn't scare me that 'W' waved at Stevie Wonder, that's okay. Now come on, Stevie's only been blind since birth!"

and last but not least....

"Yes, some men are born great, some achieve greatness, and some get it as a graduation gift.."

xDDD

XDDDD
Yes.

Or as my dad puts it:
"George was the first person to have his brain switched with a monkey. Now the monkey's a bumbling idiot."

sweatdrop It's "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." I haven't been paying attention to the US presidental election at all. The extent of my knowledge about it is that I kinda sorta new it was going on. And that's it. ^^''' But I live in Canada, and I'm not really that interested in politics, so that's why.

PostPosted: Thu Feb 21, 2008 7:27 am

Uh... okay sweatdrop weird things to say... "Brazil is big." xd

Actually, I'm a bit of a fence-sitter on this manner. Though I'm (partly) American, I don't live there (right now, anyway) and I've never lived there; so I can't really say much about any presidents ^^;

And, even if/when I do go there, I'm more of in my on world most of the time.

Well, anyway, I currently live in Asia - anyone else here do?

Obama's GOT this, baby! Oprah supports him. Oprah. There is no way possible that he can lose.
*Gonna be the happiest 2008-voter EVURRRR X3*

I've trained my little sisters to say, "Obama's gonna win, Clinton's gonna lose."
It's bad to influence kids, but they're like, 7 and 8, so they won't remember this by the time they can vote anyway. XD

I don't like him...but I kinda feel bad for him.
After the movie that Micheal Moore made about 9/11,
and when they showed the clip where Bush was during the Twin Towers falling.
I felt bad.
D':
I don't know why...
Don't kill me.
-hides-
I have soft spots for people that get picked on or made fun of.
D':
Oh, and I usually don't care about politics...here in Canada, I don't
think its as big like it is in America, but I sometimes watch the American chancels that I have.
-Illegal-

Lmao.
Bush is awesome, just for his utter stupidity.
He will definetly go down in history.

As long as Clinton or Obama wins the election, it's all good.
I don't pay as much attention to American politics as I do Canadian politics, but I've been paying close enough attention to know that Clinton and Obama have been pwning since like... forever. :/

Not, only does he have Oprah, he has Pete Wentz supporting him. With Pete-effin-Wentz supporting him there's no way he can lose.

Yes, I hate Bush, but I love his mistakes. He has lots of them. None come to mind right now, because I don't spend time watching stuff that has anything to do with presidents, but I've seen a few of his horrible speeches on the news and whatnot.

Whenever my mom sees him she starts yelling angry things at the TV.

I like Obama too. One of my friends went to one of his rallies.

Honestly, I feel that in the situation that Bush was thrown into, he did a pretty good job. Not terrific, mind you, but pretty good.

I cant say he hasnt had stupid moments, because that would be a lie.

But I havent been one to bash on someone that screws up.

But cheers to a new ******** up. {downs a bottle of gin}

I don't think Pete Wentz has had that much of an influence on the world to persuade people to vote for Obama.

To me and to alot of other people he's a bassist who can't play his instrument right.

Oprah, on the other hand... xD
