Eclipses are ******** creepy, people.
But my burning curiosity makes me want to look.
I don't know exactly where the lunar eclipse can be seen.
But it's nine pm here in southeastern Ontario, and there is a lunar eclipse as we speak.
Although it'll be creepy, Grinny will take pictures.

Over here in Alberta it started around 7:00,
and my camera was being icky and took horrible pictures.

You think they're creepy? Really? OMG, I love eclipses, especially Lunar ones [moon triumphing over the sun FTW!]. I think they're freaking amazing. My dream is to have a telescope someday so that I can watch one up close. I have a hard time seeing them where I live - either it's too goddamn cold, or there's too much cloud cover. The last one I saw, it was only like ten degrees outside... and I almost froze cause I was only wearing a tank top and a jean skirt, lol. My brother called me outside at the last minute and I didn't want to miss it, lol.

I went outside because my cousin told me to look, and half the moon was gone.
It was just... no. D:
And I've never really like celestial bodies.
I can look at the planets and the moon, and the sun from faraway, but any closeups of the sun, stars, supernova, comets, asteroids, etc, has always scared me.
Ha ha. For the one in 2004, I stayed outside the whole hour looking at it.
It was my first eclipse ever and I didn't want to miss it.
But it was suprisingly uneventful.
When the solar eclipse comes in 2012, I don't know what I'm gonna do. xD
But then again I might be over my little fear by then.

Homg, I would spend all the time staring at the stars if I could. I think they're absolutely gorgeous, and I love the moon. It fascinates and captivates me. biggrin

Oh, don't get me wrong. I love looking at the stars. Pointing out constellations and stuff is a past time of mine. I'm looking forward to Leo being visible in the Northern Hemisphere soon. *is a Leo*
I just don't like closeup pictures that NASA takes. gonk And the really close pictures that eclipse chasers take. I don't know, really. Imagining how big it is what freaks me out the most. It feels like the world is about to end, you know?
But I guess we all have out irrational fears. xD Some people's fears are spiders, snakes, mine are celestial bodies.

Everyone had an eclipse except for me, or atleast I think ><
I was sleep from 5 to 10:30 p.m. When I got home...So I'll have to ask my friendly neighborhood people. ^_^

Grinny, space freaks me out too.
Just the fact that it's so huge... and it's EVERYTHING AND EVERYWHERE EVER.
We're in space. We're in a galaxy out of billions of other galaxies. We can't be the only life then, right??
What if galaxies aren't even that big? What if each galaxy is a cell in some huge beings' body!? What if we're just like a grain of sand in some other universe.
I get the creeps from looking at up-close pictures of stars and galaxies.
Also, wtf @ black holes. D:

Lunar eclipses freak you out?!? Why??.
Omg.
I love the stars and the moon and everything. Solar eclipses are the best. I don't think space is creepy in the least. No offense, but I hate that people let themselves get freaked out about things just because they're different or strange or something. It's retarted. But then again, I've always like everything different or strange, so I guess I could never understand.
Although, thinking about it going on forever and whatnot does make my mind impolde a little but does it really?? Our generation will probably never know. o_O
Sadly, I didn't get to see the lunar eclipse because it was snowy and feezing cold, and no one told me about it until the last minute, so I wasn't going to lug my telescope up out of the basement and stand in the snow and stuff.
