Yah Ren is definitely one of the coolest characters. I'm not sure if i would say he's the deepest but he did go through a lot.

Plus he's just cooler ^^ Not that I don't like Lyserg, don't get me wrong. Well is family was also murdered by Hao and had their spirits eaten. And then with all the confusion he dealt with by joining the X-laws and then finding the strength and conviction in himself to break away from them and return to his friends, i would say he had a harder journey. Ren had a hard life growing up, and then came back to beat his dad, that's about it. Overall i think Lyserg had it tougher.

Overall i think Lyserg had it tougher. i think lyserg has it tougher. at least ren has family. lyserg wanted revenge so badly that he wanted to become stronger, hence the x-laws. and i think ren's definately cooler, btw. =]

Ren's cool, but I like Lyserg. His outfit is cool, and he's from England. King Crimson comes from England, so Lyserg gets bonus points. heart

Ren is definitely one of my faves though. Its hinted he's even more powerful than Yoh for a while in the manga, and he was good enough Hao wanted him for his team.

I think Ren is awesome!!! He's one of my favourite characters in the anime and I think it's probably because of the way that he acts, he is so much cooler (in my opinion) than lyserg. biggrin

And, if you base it off the manga, Takei really emphasized more
on Ren's past. So, I figure he's got it tougher than Lyserg.
Not that I don't think Lyserg has it tough. xD
