LF was busy sitting in the living room, trying her hardest to knit a small sweater for her Faefox, Ezra. Ezra was busy sitting at the table, gambling away pretzels and other assorted snack items with Kaeth, his "sister". She knew better, of course, but didn't mind losing snacks that she could very well get later. Ezra was enjoying himself, though. He snickered when he laid down a Royal Flush and took half the marshmallows in the "pot".

LF looked over her shoulder and chuckled, then returned to her blasted project. Working with her hands was never one of her talents, and trying to knit a sweater with the words "Ezra Pwnz" was aiming a bit too high. She finally gave up and threw the knitted mess on the floor. She walked over to the window, peering out over the grass of the yard. The sun was getting ready to set.

Patience, her bright and happy Poke-Anthro Bulbasaur, was busy rushing about the house, turning on all the lights.

"It's getting dark! Turn on the lights! Turn on the lights!" she chanted happily and flipped several switches to light up the hallway to the bedrooms. LF turned around to go pick up her knitting. She bent over and spied a strange, orange mass on the couch. It sat in the sunlight, ruffling its feathers.

FEATHERS?!

LF quickly threw the knitting over her shoulder, and it landed on Ezra, who cried out in disgust. "MOM?! It ain't done yet!"

She ignored this, and wandered over to the orange mass. That ruffled. Interesting. She decided to use the best investigative technique in the book.

And so she did.

"Excuse me," it said, "but I'm kinda busy sunbathing. You can do whatever you want until I'm done. Then I'll come hang out with you."

LF was aghast. "You...wait...you're...you're a...I have no idea."

"I'm a Feien. And a pretty cool Feien at that. I'm going to hang here for awhile. It's all nice and pretty peaceful. You might want to watch that vibrating green thing, though. She seems a bit...high-strung." And with that, he went back to sunbathing.

LF didn't mind another guest. In fact, it was nice to have someone new in the house, even though he was smaller than she'd expected a fairy to be. Why, Hikaru, her Florin, was her size. She supposed that, since humans come in all shapes and sizes, Feien could too. She nodded her approval, and bent over one last time.

"Do you have a name, Mr. Feien?"

Before her could turn to her and answer, Patience came careening down the stairwell to greet the new arrival. She bounced up and down happily as she pointed to his hair. She held a bag of cheesy, airpuft snacks in her arm.

"Mr. Cheesy Doodle!" she cried, gesturing to said Cheesy Doodle bag. LF sighed and turned back to the Feien.

The Feien laughed wholeheartedly. He didn't seem to mind Patience's energetic demeanor. "I'm Neruo. And it's nice to meet you."
