So, in a blatant attempt to promote Serenity fit of curiousity, what are everyone's favorite movies? What are you looking forward to the most? What do you really wish would be made into a movie? I am most looking forward to Serenity, based on the short-lived television show Firefly. It's usually described as a Western in space, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes westerns, science fiction, action, great characters, humor, or mystery. You can see the trailers here. (Note to Baran: Only watch trailer 3.)
There's also a really cool bit of viral marketing going around related to the movie, with the release of "mysterious" movie clips featuring a character from the movie. You can see them here.Sadly, I doubt there will be a sequel to Serenity, since it isn't doing as well as expected. So what else? Now you've made me curious, Jet. I only watched trailer 3 though. It looks interesting.
What I can't wait for is Corpse Bride. Yay Tim Burton!
I also plan to go see The Brothers Grimm.
The last movies I saw in the theater that I liked were Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and the Incredibles. I guess Batman was pretty good too.
My all time favorites were Nightmare Before Christmas and Princess Bride. Also Pirates was good and anything by Miyazaki or with Jackie Chan in them.

Also, I just saw the trailer for Doom. Like the games, I doubt it will have much plot, but that game is like my childhood. I'll have to see it.

My favorite movie of all time is The Goonies.
I'm really looking forward to MirrorMask (Yay Neil Gaiman!). If Chris won't take me, my friend has already volunteered to go with me. I'm so excited about this. It's going to be great.

Like Baran, I'm awaiting the opening of the Corpse Bride. Tim Burton is my favorite director so I already have plans with a friend of mine to see it the day after it opens. (The day it opens is my mom's birthday so we couldn't go then.)
My favorite movie is Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. It's very funny, plus it has Keanu Reeves in it. xd heart

I'm looking forward to Corpse Bride as well, and Mirrormask if it opens here. After that, I'm not sure what's coming out besides Harry Potter. Oh, and Brokeback Mountain in December, which I will probably watch by myself and and cry through.
My favorite movies are The Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings, and, um, probably Independence Day. What can I say, it affected me at an impressionable age.

I love the Salton Sea and The Boondock Saints^_^ And Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings. And The Yellow Submarine. And Donnie Darko. And probably some others I'm not thinking of. Yes, I'm indecisive if you couldn't tell.
I saw the Corpse Bride on friday =) I liked it, though some people in the class I went with thought the ending was too quick, and it had too many bad puns... Kinda true on both accounts. But I'm easily pleased wink
