CHRONICLES OF THE GALACTIC CIVIL WAR EPISODE II SHARDS OF THE FORCE
WAR! The galaxy has once again been thrown into the chaotic state of battle, as the newly formed FEDERATION OF SITH LOYALISTS, headed by the DARK LORD IMPERIUS, use their combined Imperial and Droid forces to challenge the might of the galaxy.
However, the NEW REPUBLIC remains resilient, as LUKE SKYWALKER has recruited the aid of the Jedi into the forces. General NEB WULF has proven useful in holding the Republic's lines, even with the task of training his padawans to knighthood and finding the elusive Tan' Sa' Qua' artifact shards.
As battles rage all along the border of the Mid and Outer rims, the Federation forces are still unable to breach the lines. However, the Sith have been planning a bold strategy, and as the Republic's lines falter, could prove to be the end of the Republic, and cast the galaxy into another spell of imperial terror...

RULES
1) Listen to all mods. They can and will expel anyone who breaks any rules.
2) All guild and Gaia rules apply automatically.
3) Simple RP guidelines will be followed. God-modding is forbidden. Puppeting is only allowed at the consent of both parties involved. Other noobish devices used will also be noted, and will be pointed out and corrected. All characters have a weakness that can be readily exploited by everyone. This does not mean its evident, but remember there should be one.
4) Literacy is vital to being accepted. This means proper sentence structure and spelling, along with good enough grammar to be understood. And please, no light color fonts such as yellow, cyan, or anything which causes us old farts to squint.
5) This is a third-person limited RP. Meaning that you will not use "I" or any forms of self-narration except in dialogue. Dialogue and thoughts will be separated from narration, via quotation marks and italics. Also, this means you will NOT know necessarily what everyone else is thinking, has said, or magically apparate from half-way across the galaxy just to chat or interact with someone. OCC coments are also to be put in parenthesis.
6) One liners are to be used in emergencies. However, a good chance that the action will be great enough that you shouldn't need a one liner anyway.
7) HAVE FUN! The only way you dont' have fun is if others aren't having fun. Most of these rules should be second nature to you anyway, so don't worry!

Non-Force User Information
For a greater majority of you, you will be unable to wield the force. Whether it be by choice or not, you basically cannot control the force, though it may still aid you without your knowledge.
Your bios shall be sent and approved by a mod. Grand Admiral Nelowulf is usually the best person to send it to, but other mods will be able to accept you. You should recieve a PM about your confirmation, or questions about the bio. If your PMs are disabled, your bio will NOT be accepted.
For your bio, you should include:
Name: Age: * Gender: Race: ** Main weapon: *** Side weapon: *** Affiliation: (Republic, Federation, or Freelance)
Personal Ship: ****
Short History: *****
Description: ******
*Age must be over 21 to drink. We Card. Its required.
**You can be any race you want. No limitations. No Half-breeds.
***Your primary weapon can be anything. EXCEPT A LIGHTSABER. However, your secondary weapon may be one. Lightsabers require years of training, even for jedi. You will hurt yourself more than others if a non-force wielder used a lightsaber as a primary weapon. Consider a vibrosword if you must have a sword. Also, if you weild a sword against a jedi, you will lose, even if you were trained by Obi-wan himself. Nor can your sword block blasters. That's a jedi skill. No Exceptions.
****Your personal ship. You can pick any ship you want, or none at all. However, please describe your ship and modifications (not everyone has a smuggling ship with military grade shields, cloak generator, and a class .9 or faster hyperdrive). If you can, include a picture.
***** Your history is optional. If you decide to put a personal history down, do not say "Unknown" or any cheezy drama queen antics. You can have some tradegy in your life, but don't be the one God pisses on daily.
****** Your appearance must not be the words "Like Avi". Your avi probably changes clothes every day. I doubt a jedi will wear mami wrap with a dark cape, a red clown nose, and reindeer hooves. You can type it out or post a picture. Picutres preferred.

Jedi/Sith Information
For the lucky few who ask and get approval from the mods, you will be force senstive. However, just to be sure, there are special rules for you.
1) Many aspects on the bio are similiar, if not identical, to the non-force user information. Such things as Age, Personal Ship, Appearance, etc., have already been discussed on the previous post. Please take note of what was typed up there.
2) Everyone starts as a padawan or Apprentice. Knighthood comes from serious training, but certain exceptions to the rule may apply (such as sped up training, or specific personal history in some cases).
For your viewing pleasure, the standard jedi and sith codes:
Jedi: There is no emotion; there is peace There is no ignorance; there is knowledge There is no passion; there is serenity There is no chaos; there is harmony There is no death; there is only the force
Sith: Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.
Bio and Force System explained below:
Force Sensitive Bio Version 1.04:
Name: Age: Gender: Race: Force Affiliation: (light or dark) Lightsaber Description: Secondary weapon: (if any?) Preferance: (lightsaber or force) Lightsaber Style: (dependent on rank and preference) Force Masteries: Personal ship: (Padawans are excluded from owning a personal ship. However, they may borrow ships, until they are knights, and can pay for a personal ship.)
Description:
Bio: (optional)
Padawan/Apprentice: Everyone starts off as a youngling. You must be trained by a knight. Your skills are non-existant mostly. So you start off:
-No force powers, but gain one or two per planet, depending on time spent.
-No using dual or poleblades until knighthood, and using only Style 1.
-Must choose preferance for the force or the lightsaber. see below.
1)Preference:
This is the style which you fight. It determines some factors, though remember what you will be using before you hastily decide. You will be stronger in one, but not by leaps and bounds, so don''''t get too wild. In example, a padawan who chooses lightsaber will be ranked about 2 out of 10, while their force powers are ranked 1 out of 10.
Lightsaber: You are more skilled with a lightsaber, and tend to me more aggressive to get to a fight. You handle the sabers with more efficiency than a normal student, but that doesn''''t mean you are god. Your dexterity has left you slightly lacking in force skills. You will have a slight edge in battle with your saber, but that doesn''''t mean you will win. Bonus: Handling of lightsabers and fighting techniques for closer combat in confined spaces, and use of duals or poleblades at knighthood.
Force: You will have more stamina when using the Force, and you will be more powerful when using them. While less adept with the lightsaber, your Force skills more than make up for it. Bonus: Better sensing and tune with force and more powerful techniques.
As said before, you will also learn one to two skills per planet. You can choose from (description later):
-Force Push/Pull -Force Jump -Force Levitate -Force Speed -Mind Probe -Force Persuade -Force Heal -Force Absorb -Battle meditation -Force Lightning -Dark Craze -Force Choke
Skills Description:
You may pick 4 at your leisure. YOU MAY NOT PICK ANY MORE! YOU CAN ONLY USE THE FOUR YOU PICKED! (this helps balance skills, instead of being uber-leet at everything...)
Push/Pull: This skill is a duh. You can push or pull one unwilling opponent.
Jump: Ability to jump higher and farther, as well as land with better control from high distances.
Speed: This is you on Crank. You are insanely fast, but only in dire times. You will almost run faster than a laser.
Levitate: Allows you to pick up inanimate objects and throw them, such as a rock or your lightsaber.
Mind Probe: Search someone''''s thoughts and feelings and maybe discover somethign of interest.
Force Persuade: Not quite a mindtrick or mindcloud yet, you can still influence people to a small degree using this skill. It will not affect the strong of mind, and the weak of mind only are influenced, not controlled.
Heal: Everybody needs a little healing sometime. Not as good as bacta, but great first aid. However, this is not an instant process. Healing takes time, so use sparringly.
Force Absorb: Takes most Force attacks and absorbs them, aka deflect them.
Battle Meditation: By meditating, the Jedi can forsee incoming attacks before some happen, and have a chance to block more. It also works on a larger scale, influencing those allies around you to be more confident, and boost morale.
Dark Craze: A technique that drains you until battle is over or you pass out. Speed, dexderity, strength, and focus increase.
Lightning: Go Palpantine on tha fool! Self-explanitory. Only effective against one person.
Choke: Works on more than just choking, but who cares? Can be used to pick up living objects and throw them as well. So technically it''''s grip...
Lightsaber styles are limited. You''''re stuck with Form 1:
Shii-Cho - The most basic techniques, the basics of attack, parry, body target zones, and the practice drills called velocities are all here. Pretty much stuck with anything you can use. Effective if honed, especially against multiple opponents, but overall weak.
Jedi/Sith Knights: You have passed the Jedi or Sith trials. Now you are a knight. You have all the corresponding skills at your disposal, and four which you are stronger at. Some even upgrade in power, if you picked them at the beginning. Even moreso, your abilities have increased. Also, your preference builds here. If you picked lightsaber as a skill, you''''d be ranked 6 out of 10 with the saber, but your force powers stay at 5 out of ten.
-Have four skills at their disposal -Take orders from the council or lords -Can train apprentices and become masters. -Can use dual sabers or poleblades if focusing on lightsaber preferance -Can change their form from form 1 to another:
Form 2: Makashi - An old style rarely used by the jedi. One studies the precise manipulation of the blade, making them very strong against another lightsaber wielder. However, in this present day and age, blasters and other weapons are used, and the precise manipulation of blades pretty much sucks against blaster fire. Sith should consider this form, if expecting many duels with jedi. Dooku used this style.
Form 3: Soresu - The all around Defensive style. Unlike form 2, this style is quite adept at blocking lasers. It is widely reguarded that form 3 is even invincible once mastered, as it depends on effecient movements and precise control to block blasters and lightsabers. The only downside is that the form is not for offense, rather, it is stronger when redirecting a blaster or attack back at the opponent. Obi-Wan preferred this style.
Form 4: Ataru- Unlike Form 3 and it''''s lack of exposure, Form 4 does the opposite. Using acrobatic movements and the force to move as much as possible, its defense relies more on evading rather than blocking. Mastery makes the user a blur, and only the strongest can defend against it. Yoda and Qui-gon both used this technique.
Form 5: Shien- Focusing on offensive, this style is basically pound the s**t out of the opponent. While form three is defensive, soemtimes it cannot overpower the opponent. Shien takes this, and using many defensive abilities from three, allows to push through. However, it sacrifices some defence for this. Widely reguarded as a domination style, Vader embodied this style.
Form 6: Niman- The diplomatic style, 6 incorporates all styles 1-5. Very flexible in its usage, Niman is very useful where one does not know what to expect. In knowing all the other styles, however, it isn''''t as focused, making it have no other distinct advantage.
Certain skills upgrade upon knighthood if they were originally trained in the pre-requisites. These skills are:
Force Push > Force Wave Force Speed > Force Sprint Force Persuade > Jedi Mindtrick/ Sith Mindcloud Force Lightning > Force Storm
Descriptions:
Force Wave: A skill much like push, this skill can fire a "wave" of force energy, and knock all people down in that general direction.
Force Sprint: A skill that exceeds Force Speed. Using all the energy in a quick burst, one is able even to outrun a blaster... for a short distance.
Mind trick: *waves hand* You will not fight me. Doesn''''t work on powerful minds. Can make people bend to do actions.
Sith Mindcloud: Much like the Jedi mindtrick, you can make weak minds do your bidding. But unlike the mindtrick, it is by confusion instead of clarity.
Force Storm: Even more powerful than lightning, this not only targets more than one opponent, but has more range, and covers a greater area than lightning.
Jedi Masters/Sith Lords: The pinnacle of the force users. Each has mastered their side of the force to an artform. Their skills have grown to match their knowledge, making them a force NOT to be contended with without proper knowledge or equiptment and a feeling of kamikaziness. They have been recognised by other masters as well, and usually inducted into the Jedi council, or Sith Commune. In such, Masters:
-know all the moves of the force (excluding the opposite side). -Can still take apprentices, or even help knights grow in strength. -Preferance can be neutral so lightsaber and force skills rank 8/10, or bolster their knowledge further with one being 10/10 and 6/10. -Can learn the last lightsaber form. -Can learn one ultimatum move, as proof of their superior knowledge.
Form 7: Juyo or Vaapad- Mace Windu''''s own style, it is styles 1-6, but better. It is by far the most powerful, but relatively fresh and undiscovered. In fact, only Mace Windu himself had ever come close to mastering it. The downside is the complexity of the style can take decades to learn, and thus, many prefer to master another style. If learned though, the style will be bold, powerful, demanding, but not flashy. Only one word can describe it: Overwelming.
Ultimatum Moves:
Force Sphere: A neutral Force move, it involves creating a bubble of sorts, and pushing all objects away from the user in all directions for about 50 feet. Basically: Force push, except 360 degrees.
Force Shield: Another Neutral skill, the user may choose to put forth a combination of levitate, push, and absorb in a concentrated attack that works effectively against all incoming projectiles, much like a shield.
Jedi Lightning: The jedi learned how to use force lightning, and not as an aggressive attack either. While limited to use only in extreme circumstances, the jedi''''s lightning is green, and cannot kill. However, it will stun instantaneously, giving the jedi a chance to run or capture his opponent.
Force Feedback: The limited nature of force absorb is limited to only absorbing or deflecting the attack of lasers and force moves. However, a trained master can capture, and then redirect the attack right back at an opponent. However, many times this creates a deadlocked battle, turning the battle into a lightsaber dual instead of a force battle.
Drain life: A true sith skill, the sith lord can drain life out of his opponent, and convert it back to him. However, this does not work all of the time, and the target must be weakened to have any real effect as well.
Mind Shift: A skill used by sith lords who would rather use deception and trickery than direct confrontation. Sith Lords with this skill can literally seperate their spirtual entities including the force out of their corporal husk. They can either sit tight, not move their bodies, and basically etherally travel like ghosts to places, or remote control their bodies and not be sensed through unnatural means.
Once again, PM your information to a Mod. Wait for a PM of confirmation. All accepted bios will be displayed in the Imperial Personel thread.

Space. A desolate wasteland of nothingness. Home to celestial bodies known as planets, stars, and moons. Many have grown life on them, while others have not. And life is connected through all beings through an entity known as The Force. This entity has given rise to many conflicts in the eras gone by, and this is just another turn of the endless waltz.
Neb floated in space, in his Delayla Class Courier, the Kapella. It was six months past the Battle of Kashyyyk, and this time it had sparked the beginning of the series known throughout the galaxy as the Droid wars.
"Are you sure they''ll be there?" A fighter squadron leader stated.
"Yes, I can feel it. Plus, the bothans are rarely wrong on their information." Neb responded.
The New Republic fleet had been summoned to the world of Kothlis, with a plea of help along with spynet information that the Federation of Sith Loyalists would begin a major offensive in hopes of gaining the valuable spy network.
"Alright, all wings report in." Neb stated, flying through the mass of corvettes, frigates, and the masive MC90 battlecruiser that was to be the brunt of the force.
"Red Leader standing by."
"Gold Leader, standing by."
"Green Leader, standing by."
"All wings, accellerate to attack speed and lock s-foils in attack postition when we get there. Prepare to jump on my mark." Neb said, powering up the thrusters and setting the cordinates. "May the force be with us." He stated, as the ships all made the familiar lurch, and the stars blurred by in the familiar hyperspace.

The Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Imperius, was all too pleased with the current situation. His ex-apprentice, and now Sith Knight, Drako Prime, was currently leading an assault over the planet Kothlis, and locked away in Wild Space, his scienticts were working on a project currently titled Black Void. And now, he was one step closer towards his true goal and ambition, the search for the path the Sith Lord Revan followed to find the true Sith Empire. Though his newly founded Federation of Sith Loyalists had lost their first battle, due to faulty calls by his then-droid commander Alpha, Imperius had secured a personal victory. Meeting with the shape-shifting being called Rohsan, he had secured the location of the first of a series of holocrons that would supposedly lead to Revan. On Kashyyk, he had been handed the holocron of Darth Bane, a holocron he had yet to activate. Now, he scoured the Valley of the Jedi, followed by a group of near-human Ruusanians.
"Lord Imperius, we have entered the Valley of the Jedi."
"Good. Now, please leave me."

It was a typical day in the Dead Space Cantina, one of the inumerable dives on Ord Mantell. The atmosphere was dark, smoky, and filled with convorsations in seventeen separate languages. an ancient jukebox in the corner played a slow song from a forgotten artist, blending in with the murmers and drones of speech. Zabrak, Rodians, Twi'leks, Duros, Humans, Cyborgs and Droids occupied the bar, and it was a safe bet any or all of them were rogues. It was not a place for tourists.
As the patrons discuseed galactic politics, smuggling routes and bounty postings amid tankards of Corellian Ale, a burly Rodian with a Cybornetic arm and an eyepatch kicked open the swinging doors of the cantina. his minions, a scruffy looking collection of humanoids drew blasters and followed their boss in. the one eyed Rodian scowled(as best a Rodian could) and scanned the place. The whisper started among the rodians first, then it traveled the entire bar. this sentinent was the dreaded mercenary and hunter Vlask Ropeke. It was rumored the Rodianhad hunted down and killed a Krayt Dragon, and was tough enough to eat a blaster bolt from an E'web and ask for seconds. what he was doing here was anyones guess, but from the looks of things he was looking for someone. the general consent was that the hunted was one dead bantha if Vlask got his mitts on them. poor Bugger. The Rodian snarled out a declaration"Im Lookin' for a punk named Cale Darksun! You Barves better tell me where he is, or there won't be an Atom of this place left!!" To emphasize his point, the thug's arm shifted to a blaster cannon and blasted a hole in the roof. The seasoned spacer patrons of the barglanced at the hole glanced at one another, then seeminly vanished out the doors of the establisment. the place was empty, save for a human in the corner playing solitare. The thugs all stared at the human as he calmly continued to play out his hand. Vlask snarled again and armed his cannon once more."You! Space Scum! You seen Cale Darksun?!" The man took a swig of his drink and placed a card down on the table. "I Might have." The rodian stomped over and aimed the blaster at the man's head. "Tell me where he is! or you're making the final jump!" The man didn't even look up at the armed cannon inches from his head. he simply played another card on the table. he took a swig from his drink and asked the rodian, "Why do you want Cale Darksun?" "He sent my little brother Glassen Up the Space lanes! He died in a prison riot three months ago and now I want that vrelt's skin on my wall!" The man looked up at the angry Rodian Thug, who stood just over two meters tall and rippling with mucles and weaponry and smiled. "Well, thats a shame about old Glassen. but he shouldn't have resisted. could have probably gotten a reduced sentance. Now as For that Vrelt Cale Darksun, I'll tell you right where he is. I just watched him shave his face earlier this morning." "Where the sith was that?!" "In my mirror." Vlask looked confused for a moment. then he put two and two together and fired his cannon. it failed to fire. Vlask stared at his gun arm in confusion, just noticing the cut wires near the elbow. "what the?!" Cale calmly drew his blaster and aimed it at Vlask's head. "Y'know Vlask, I think I see a familiy resemblance in you and your brother. You both are far dumber in person." Cale motined to a wooden support of the cantina. Vlask looked and stared in amazement. it was the Idiot card of Cale's Deck, burried corner first in the beam. The outlaw had thrown it at the cyborg's exposed wires sometime during their convrosation. The rodian sweated nervously as Cale shuffled his cards back up and stood up from the booth, downing the rest of his drink on the way out. "You don't need the Idiot card to play Solitare Vlask." Cale said as he pulled the metal foil card from the beam. "And few people expect a simple card to be a weapon. even from across the bar I could have lodged this thing in your good eye." the Outlaw walked a few paces from the Rodian Gunman and turned around to face him. "So, Im going to ask you a question Vlarsk. You still looking to put me on a wall? maybe you could ask your flunkies for advice..." Vlarsk looked over his shoulder and saw that save for a few terrified serving girls and the equally terrified barkeep, the two were alone in the bar. The short human was fast, that was a fact. But Vlarsk was a skilled hunter, a master of reading his prey. he was positive he could read the human's movements and take him down before the outlaw could draw his blaster. Vlask smiled and slid his good hand over his holstered DL-44. Cale shook his head. "Bad move, vape bait." The two gunmen stared each other down, each ready to draw at a moment's notice. The Old Jukebox kept blaring that sappy song as the tension mounted. Vlark was sweating bullets. Cale didn't even flinch. a flash of movement the squeel of a blaster and the flash of light. The two outlaws stood: Cale, his Mos Eisly Special up and smoking; Vlask, his Blaster never clearing the holster. Cale fired: once, twice, again. each bolt nailed the rodian. Despite the obvious damage dealt to him, the rodian managed to stay on his feet. he breathing was weak as he managed a few words. "That....was....impressive...." Cale nodded. "Say hi to Glassen for me." The Rodian returned the nod, then fell to the ground with a crashing thud. Cale blew the smoke from his pistol and twirled it in his hand, then slid it back in his holster. he rifled through the Rodian's pockets and laid a fistfull of credits on the Bar. "theres for the roof." he flipped the nearest barmaid a coin."I'll take another Lum if you don't mind."

The fleet exited hyperspace, above the greened world of Kothlis... Or what would have been the greened world of Kothlis in about five minutes, as the fleet jumped onto the FSL fleet and had taken them by suprize, barely beginning to deploy their fighters.
"Do not let those transports get a chance to go planetside." Neb said, increasing speed, though his ship was as fast as the X-wings, he really was pushing the engines a little harder than he wished.
"Red group, concentrate firepower on the Star Destroyer's shield generator domes. Take them out, and the fleet will have a much easier time knocking those things down. Gold group, protect their flank. Green group, split off and protect the cruisers."
Neb bolstered his speed some more, targeting the first dome of an Imperial Star Destroyer.
"We caught them off guard for a minute, so let's take out what we can before the fighters can attack. Charge the ion cannons and blasters."
"Charging," said Gunnie, one of the scientists which Neb kept on his ship for his quest for the Tan' Sa' Qua'.
"Fire on my mark, Gunnie. Put shields at double front, and as soon as we pass by, I want those reblanced. Divert all power from the masking system and put it to the weapons."
"Ion cannons ready."
"Fire! Kapella, Fox 1! Kapella, Fox 2!" Neb shouted, firing the ion cannon at the first dome, and while not doing much, the disruption of the shield did have some impact. Two high yield proton torpedoes fired away, as blaster bolts traced their path, right into the dome, which couldn't hold back the blast, and destroyed itself immediately.
"Good job!" Neb cried, as he banked portside.
"We have enemy ships at piont seven-six!" Hudson calmly voiced, informing the rest of the squadron.
"Draw their fire away from the Corvettes and frigates, their shields need to be as preserved as possible!"

The Ruusanians left, and Imperius and his former apprentice, Darth Valycia were left alone in the Valley.
"This is the site of the final battle between the Jedi and the Sith, the battle that ended the New Sith Wars. It was here that Darth Bane started his new order, and it is here that we shall find our answers."
Digging a hand into his jacket pocket, he pulled out a crystalline pyramid. There were no visible buttons or anything of the sort, because, as Imperius knew, the Force was required to activate it. Palming the holocron in his hand, he placed his right finger on the tip and let the Force flow through. Almost instantly, the holocron turned blood-red and a flickery hologram portruded from the top. It was an image of a grim looking dark-skinned man, clutching a red-purple lightsaber in solid black robes.
"I am Bane, Dark Lord of the Sith. Identify yourself and your mission."
"My name is Imperius, the Dark Lord of the Sith. I seek the truth."
"The Truth about what?
"Revan."
You seek something that which is hidden, buried through centuries of Jedi attempts at cover-ups. It will be long before you may actually find Revan."
"Then I seek another Truth."
Go on."
"Why did you leave the old ways? Why did you institute the Rule of Two?"
"You know the answer. The Sith were greedy, greedy for power. They would slaughter each other, for power, and they weakened themselves enough to be slaughted by the Jedi."
"If you seeked to lessen slaughter, then why must a Knight slay his Master?"
" How else is the line to pass? It is the only way. Now, search this Valley, for there are coordinates here, coordinates to another holocron. Find the holocron, and you will be on your way down the path."
"What path?"
"A path created over a thousand years ago. A path that is in your destiny. The Path of Revan.

Cale sat back in his booth and took his drink from the still nervous serving girl. He glanced over at the still smoking corpse of his latest advesaryand shook his head. Not a bad little dual. he thought. Vlask had a reputation as a blastslinger, but I took him out easily. either his reputaion was a load of sithspit, or Im getting better. and I sincearly doubt the former. but the question remains: am I good enough for Jedi? he took a drink of his Lum and played the cards back out on the table, almost as though nothing had happened. The galaxy was in the throes of war. Jedi and Sith were popping up all over the galaxy again, almost like the galaxy was rolling backwards in time to its more chaotic days. It was no longer safe to be just a simple space cowboy. those who lived for space had to adapt to these wartorn times. Those that wanted to survive anyway. Cale pulled out the knight of sabers from his deck and stared at it. Inevitably he would face the card's inspiration. Be it Sith or Jedi, he knew it was inevitable. in months past, Cale had faced Sith, Jedi, and Mandelorians. He always thought he was good, but experiences with these beings proved to him how wrong he was. he needed practice. His fast talk and flight skills would never be enough alone against these hardened warriors. And so he got better. He practiced his aim, honed his skills, and worked his muscles. and now he could take down the likes of a Rodian hunter with frightening ease. but despite the reults of all those hard months of training the question remained. Am I good enough? He stared at the Knight of Sabers for a long time. then he shuffled it back in his deck and took another sip of lum.

A blue and white Jedi Starfighter materialized out of hyperspace. Inside, it's lone occupant, Mordranna Brunhildt, once an elite stormtrooper, now a recently knighted Jedi, mused darkly. I hate flying! she inwardly groaned as she came out of hyperspace. Her work was clearly cut out for her. At once, she made out the familiar shape of the Kapella. Opening a channel, she called out to it's crew. "Nice to see a familiar face out here! Need any help?"

An hour of self complentation later, Cale plunked some more coins on the table to cover his tab and walked out of the Bar. the returning patrons gave the outlaw a wide berth as he made his way to the door. Cale came out onto the street and squinted as his eyes adjusted to the harsh light of The Mantellian sun. He had some relief as one of the local Pink clouds obscured the sun. Cale shook his head at the sight. "If theres one thing I can't stand about this planet, its the clouds." "Hold it! Drop your gun!" a voice called out from behind him. Cale Slowly turned around, pulling his gun from his holster as he did so and setting it on the ground. His assailent was a Zabrak wielding a Sorosub knock-off of a Blastech pistol. the Zabrack had a confident smile on his face as he held th e pistol at Cale. "So you're the Vrelt who nailed Vlask. don't look like much. but once I dust you I'll have made a name for myself." Cale arched an eyebrow. "Thats what this is about? well tell you what you sith eating bag of gundar droppings, you're about to make your last jump." The Zabrak laughed. "how space scum? theres no chance you'll be able to snag your blaster in time." In the blink of an eye Cale flicked a Vibrodagger out of his sleave and into the Zabrak's eye. the Zabrack recoiled in pain and screamed. Cale took the opportunity to calmly pick up his blaster pistol and shoot the Nerfherder dead. he extracted the knife, took the Zabrak's money and spare blaster clips and went on his way. "Bloody ametuer."

The Kapella rolled, the twin double laser cannons firing wildly at the new horde of Howlrunners and Vulture droids.
"Hold on tight, this baby doesn't quite have the turn radius of the fighters..." Neb stated, as the ship pulled a hard bank, spinning, with the guns blazing backwards, and somehow managing to hit the targets it locked onto. Neb was thankful, along with Gunnie and the rest of the crew, that the targeting system had been one of the first things put in, and that it could track almost any fighter short of a hyperspacing Awing.
"Incoming fighters, point seven-two. Intercepters," Hudson advised, as the waves came from nowhere.
"We must take down this first Star destroyer. Only then will the Fleet get their foot in the door!"
Just as he said this, the MC90 began opening fire on the Star Destroyer, as the Corvettes pulled a heavy hit and run, and almost too quickly, the ship was going in flames.
"Sir, com channel open. Its Mordranna," Scopes nearly jumped out of his seat saying that. He hated combat.
"Mordranna. Neb here, take gold squadron up ahead and see what you can do with that fighter cover. Red leader, Green leader, everyone else, follow me! We're breaking the line!"

Mordranna smiled grimly. "You got it, Neb," She then directed the comm at Gold Squad. "Gold Squad, you heard the man - come with me!" The squad of X-wings followed the lone Jedi fighter, and they engaged the TIE fighters spilling from the nearest Star Destroyer. "Gold group! Front shields at maximum." She then surveyed the situation. "Gold Six and Eight: It looks like they're trying to get a jump on you guys - evasive!" she cried out, as a TIE sailed into her laser's crosshairs. Thank you for being predictable! she mused with a mild snort before firing her cannons.
