-- AIM Rp between Sauda, Dakarai and Kipepeo ((Kisoni and DFA))

Why was she plagued? She was plagued. She KNEW she was plagued, but she never left. What was the POINT of staying with him? ... other than the fact that he would die within a week. Of course, she was evil so should she really care about that? Sauda's thoughts grated against one another as did her teeth as she padded along through the jungle. Dakari was more annoying than ever since that last stampede he'd caused. Oh, he wasn't stupid--she never once thought that, but he lacked in anything remotely resembling common sense. It merely looked like extreme stupidity.

That was what Sauda wanted to beleive, anyway. The jungle floor barely made a sound under her paw, as light and practiced as she was. Right now, she wanted to get some distance between her and the loud-mouthed buffoon. If she hit him any more she was likely to cause even more brain damage.

Had anyone been able to take a peek inside Dakarai's mind they'd have noted that he was in fact quite intelligent. Yes, in other words 'he was all that and a bag of chips', however, for some odd reason (probably due to the way his own mind functions half the time and his need to do more than necesary) his ideas failed. Oh, they had a good base to them, and he could have potentialy have been a down right terror had he learnt something called 'common sense'.

... Adding a bit of luck in his favour wouldn't have hurt either. He seemed to lack that; as demonstrated when mid talking about how, if they used so and so vantage point they could SO take over so and so pride, the male tripped over a random root and was plunged forward, sprawled on the floor.

A giggle bubbled up from the side of the jungle as a small head peeked out; red eyes stared down at Dakarai before the cub looked up at Sauda, "What's wrong with him?" she'd been following them for a while, secluded by the jungle foliage, and had been having the time of her life watching the scene, "He's clumbsy!" amongst other things! But Kip was a nice, refined little girl, and refused to point out the obvious any further

Sauda's eyebrows raised at the child, completely ignoring Dakari's plight entirely. A Kid?! A kid.. oh god, where had it come from?! She looked around, trying to find the parents but saw nothing... other than the kid. Oh great. Sense of impending doom.

"Him? Nothing more wrong than usual." She stepped over the sprawled, somewhat ugly male to sniff the child, "Okay, kid, why are you following us?"

It was obvious she had been, otherwise Sauda would have noticed her... and it was actually remotely impressive that the child had managed to follow without being detected. That did nothing for the sense of Doom.

A kid indeed; and it looked like no one was in the inmediate surroundings. At least not upon first glance. The small cub perked an ear then wrinkled her nose almost as if confused over WHY she should have an actual 'reason' for following them, "I unno," she said with a shrug, then pointed at the male, "He looked like mommy," she said before sticking her paw into her mouth. Truth be told, the cub had been alone for a few days now; her parents had left on a hunt and had never returned. Her mind was too young... too naive to even begin to ponder what had happened to them; in fact, when she'd first spotted Dak, she'd sincerely thought he was her mommy. After a pause she frowned up at the larger female, "Do I need a reason?" she again, seemed confused over this.

"Sauda! Ignore the brat and help me up! I think I sprained my paw..." he looked down at his arm, waving it up and down in motion, whinning softly, "I think I hurt myself...." sicking his paw in his mouth, reminiscent of the action the cub had taken just moments before, Dakarai finally pulled himself up, "So it's a cub; big deal."

"Your mom huh?" She looked back over at where Dakari was sucking himself and smirked, "How ever could you have made the mistake...

"You're alright, Dakari, besides there'sa simple test for these kind of things." She turned and wacked his paw hard with one of her own. "That hurt?"

"OOOOOW! HEY!" the male instantly treated his paw out of her reach, giving her a comical glare; somewhere between a pout, a hurt glance, and a grump, "What'd you do that for? Now it's /really/ broken I bet!" he carrassed his paw gingerly while turning to glare at the small cub. He bared his teeth at her then turned away with a 'hmph' that would've (or should've) been more true of a b***h than a male lion.

Kip blinked at the display, her brows shooting up to hide under her bangs before she turned her full attention back to the er.... well, the leader it seemed. The female was the leader, "Well, from far away they look similar!" came the girl's protest, "He's sleder... and blue, and so's mommy!" she frowned, her ears flopping back.

"For her sake, I hope she's a lot prettier," Sauda muttered and sat back down after she'd 'dealt' with Dakarai. "okay, Kid, you can't just go running off after strangers, even when they look like your mommy... She's going to be worried when you're not back where she left you." Why was she even bothering with this? The kid was so young though...

"She is," she said rather bluntly, like only a child could.

"HEY!" frowning the male flopped his ears back; he was pretty enough, thank you very much!! Except, never did he actualy pause to figure that perhaps 'pretty' wasn't the word he should've technicaly been looking for.

After another glance towards Dak, the small cub continued, "But.... he's funny," she glanced at the male whom was reclined back against a random tree, pouting, his arms crossed childishly over his chest. She arched a brow back at Sauda as if THAT totaly justified her following them, hints of a smile showing through the black of her maw.

After a moment's pause, she frowned and whinced, her ears flopping back, "But, but.... they left days ago, and I'm lonely and hungry!" a pause, "And lonely!"

"Funny... right.. complete riot." In the most literal sense, nine times of ten, Sauda thought with another roll of her eyes. She shook her head and then looked back down at the child who... was abandoned and didn't seem to realize it. Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.

But the kid was smart, for a cub; and better at conversation that Dakari. Sauda glanced at the pouting male, one paw taping at her chin as she considered this turn of events. "Well.. I guess she won't mind then. Okay kid, come on. We have a long way to walk and a lot of pissed off people behind us." Not that that was unusal, but it was more than Sauda could take on alone.

"Pissed off people?" a small pause as the cub pointed a paw at Sauda, "That's a BAD word," the hints of a smile showed through again; it was clear she was amused, even despite the fact she hadn't realised her parents had either.... abandoned her, or had died. Either way, she was alone, and would've doubtlessly died within few days had she not stumbled across the current pair.

Dakarai sneer slightly, "Yeah well," he frowned then, seemingly pondering, "It would've WORKED had it not been for that misplaced brat... he ran into me when I had it ALL worked out! I would've managed to take over that clan. I had it all under control," he stood and only then seemed to realise that the cub was coming, "Hey wait!" trotting up faster he pointed a paw at the cub, "I don't want THAT!" apause, "It probably smells."

"HEY!" with that, the cub pounced and grabbed ahold of Dak's tail in her mouth, making the male squeak in a most unmanly way as he circled Sauda.

"She's got my vote," Sauda merely grinned. Okay, she definitely liked this kid. Sure, she was a pretty, flippant looking thing... but it might even be fun to raise a kid--so long as it knew Dakari was an imbicile and not to listen to him. As the child had already proved that, Sauda had little worries as to that.

She continued to walk instead, "Besides, Daki, she can't smell any worse than you do," Sauda singsonged. She knew he hated that name.

The male whinced, raised himself on his hindhaunches and grimaced again as he lifted his tail with his front paws, dangling... glaring cub and all, "GetitoffgetitoffGETITOFF!" the words were whinced, hissed and growled, all at once and oh GOD HIS TAIL it was going to be DEFORMED!

The cub frowned and released him, her maw wrinkling, "I do NOT smell! I bathe!" She nodded to herself and primly padded up ahead to join Sauda.

It took Dakarai to notice he'd just been subtly overwhelmed by double the amount of estrogen he was used to. A whine escaped his maw as he ran to catch up.

"I think...." came the cub's voice, "Imma call you Daddy," she said this to Sauda, then turned to Dak, "And you Mommy!"

"WHAT?!" he'd been about to hiss at Sauda for the nickname, however, now he stomped his feet, "No! I refuse! No nicknames!"

That about tore it, until the cub mentioned the last part. Sauda stopped dead, biting her lip and eyes closed as she tried not to giggle--her gigling just wasn't done. Ohhhh that was good, though.

Once she'd gotten herself straightened out, she grinned at the cub, "Really? I think that's rather astute of you.... wouldn't you say so... mommy?" Her eyes narrowed at Dakari. It was too late, he wasn't going to change it now. "And whats your name anyway, kid?"

"No, no no NO!" it was said in what Dakarai damn well hoped was a comanding tone, his paw stomping on the ground childishly to add for effect (which coincidentaly.... ruined the mature, comanding effect he'd hoped for), "I refuse! NO!"

Ohhhh.... but no matter how much the male refused and stompped, it only served to make Kipepeo's mind completely up; not to mention, she'd seen Sauda pause in an attempt to bite back her giggles. Ohhhh... she liked that. A smug smile spread over her maw before she puffed up her chest, "Kipepeo! But mommy called me Kip!" she turned to Dak at this point as iif expecting something.

Dakarai looked from one female to the other and then did the only mature and manly thing he could think of in such a situation; he whimpered.

"Kipepeo.." Sauda considered that, completely ignoring Dakari's little temper tantrum.... as she usually did, it really wasn't something that unusual between them. After awhile she nodded and grinned in turn. "I think 'Mommy' would very much like to call you Kip. Now, I wasn't kidding, we need to get moving...and we'll find some dinner for Kipee."

"But but but...." the whimper was still evident in his voice was he padded on, "I haven't agreed to this!"

A pause from the cub as she looked up with wide eyes at the male, "Mommy.... doesn't WANT me...." it was said with such a painful tone in her voice that Dakarai stopped dead to look down at her.

"Oh no.... no," he looked at Sauda for help, but noticing he wasn't going to ge any, focused his attention back on the cub, "No, no, none of that!"

Meanwhile, Kip had fallen into silent sobs; the breaths racked her body as she hid her face in her paws, "Mommy doesn't LIIIIIIIKE me!!" she wailed, in such a pained voice... such a heartbreaking whimper, that Dakarai hastened to come over to her. He lifted her into the air with his paws and
rocked her this way and that, looking awkward as all hell as he repeated his earlier claims. During a moment or two whilst being held, the cub turned her head barely, freeing her face from her paws to give Sauda a smug smile. Then she continued to 'hiccup' and 'whimper.

"Thhhaaats right, Daki, make the kid cry." Sauda encouraged as the girl whined. She smirked in return to Kipepeo, though. Oh yeah, this could make things interesting... so long as she didn't get too cocky, Sauda didn't see any issue with keeping her.

She shook her head at the way Dakari was acting and sighed. "Okay, we're obviously getting no where today. You bond with the kid, i'll go get dinner."

Turning her head to watch the older female leave, Kip happily clung to 'Mommy', her tantrum having passed as the male rubbed her back.

"You're gonna hunt alone?!" of course, why was he even surprised? Half the time he deteriorated the hunts, rather than help; unconsiously, he rubbed the kid'sback as he looked at Sauda, looking awkwardly out of place, "But, but!" A moment's pause followed after which he pulled the cub at arm's length and glared at her. The cub blinked right back at him before smiling and the male let a long sigh, knowing when he was defeated.

"After this morning, do you really feel that question is necessary?" She didn't expect a response to that and really didn't want one. Instead, she just loped off into the jungle. Over her shoulder she called on last parting shot, "And Dakari.. the kid had better be with you when i get back!"

"I'm not gonna eat her!" he called back, sounding particularly offended as he flopped down on the floor, placing the cub between his spread hind legs, watching her. Tell truth, the idea had briefly passed his mind, but after the cub had turned to smile at him he'd decided it be like eatting.... well, he wasn't sure what.

"BYE DADDY!" the cub waved after the retreating female, flopping down between her new 'mommy's back legs.
